I dropped in yesterday evening to have my ring sent in for repair. First off, Tiffany greeted me right away- it may seem small but that is lost for a lot of customer service nowadays , so kudos for acknowledging my presence! She was training a new employee on the process of sending out jewelry for repair. The system was giving them a hard time, yet she was incredibly patient with the process, and thorough. I was so comfortable, I stuck around after they got me taken care of because I wanted to hang out and try on rings. I enjoyed talking with Tiffany so much that I will be a customer for life of hers. She displayed exemplary customer service and mentoring skills. Helzberg would only succeed in keeping her around, they better take care of her the way she took care of me. Tiffany is smart. If could leave a zero star, I would. First off worst customer service I have ever experienced. They had a custom necklace I wanted for my birthday. We were told 1-2 weeks, and after 2 weeks went by we call once a week and always got a story "waiting for the delivery and would call us back". Jordan is amazing!!! From start to finish she had made my experience so wonderful. When I first went in with my fiancé she was the first one to help me and immediately greeted us! Jordon listened to everything I liked and didn't down play and of the rings I was going for. I will say there was another worker there that tried to cut in while Jordan was helping me and she was trying to force me to pick a diamond when I had already told her and Jordan that I don't like diamonds that much. The other lady kept saying that she has done this for a long time and that she knows what I want, I left and said that we will keep looking. The next time I went in there was to get my ring looked at after getting engaged, it was one of the beautiful rings I picked with Jordan and she was there to take a look at it. Went to look for a diamond ring and first like always customer service in this store is stuck up and rude. I've tried to give this store another chance but today I'm done. The lady would not let me have 2 rings out to try on like I'm going to steal it or something. How am i suppose to compare stones and rings if you can't try them on. Such a disgrace. My diamond story became news when the day I was proposed to with it, the center stone fell out at a outdoor concert...100s of people looked for the stone when we saw it was just GONE. ABC15 did a story on HOW in the blackness of grass, the drummers' wife found it in the dark....end of phase one of the story was the prongs were a design flaw and I was given another ring to replace this one since HE bought the insurance. The lady said..."You didn't need to find the stone...we will just replace it!" Great...phase 2...need the new diamond with diamond band connected together and sized. They don't have jewelers in the store(s) since 7 years ago. So everything gets mailed out for weeks and weeks...so a month later I got my rings back. Phase 3...over the last 5 years with a Helzberg charge account, my husband purchases more rings, necklaces, earrings, etc...and buys the insurance every time- so every 6 months we go in get the inspection done and look around. Part of the process to keep you coming in. They are only interested in purchases, not service BTW. The lack of jewelers at any of the stores and the loose way of managing time of repair returns is ridiculous. I sent some earrings in to be quoted to add them to hoops instead of studs. After 8 weeks of waiting, I went into to store and they had finally found them and got them returned. Wanted so much money to adapt it, it wasn't worth doing and waiting how many months for them to come back. Phase 4...in for next inspection with all 7 of my items (yesterday) and I need my wedding set sized again (down 2 sizes). It's spinning around and sliding off my finger. SO I ask for the ring sizer thingy that fits on the ring to make it snug and the associate tells me that it will ruin the gold and scratch it so she didn't recommend that. I ask about sizing time frames and I'm told 3.5 weeks. So I need to decide to go without my ring for a "month" (maybe if it comes back) or void my warranty by having it sized somewhere else "same day." Every time I said a month is unreasonable she corrected me and said NOT a month, 3.5 weeks. I said, so if it falls off my finger in the ocean and I lose it you will replace it, but I can't have the insert to sizing it correctly? NO. By then my 7 inspections and cleanings were done, all my jewelry was put back in front of me and they both walked away....I will never BUY another piece from this business. I've reached out to corporate about their repair practices, as it is clear that this is not the store(s) choice. Plenty of other stores to do business with. This one and this location is not the first choice. read more

At this location it really depends who you're working with. One day they will be fantastic, and the next you will feel completely disrespected. My wife and I will go out of our way another 20 minutes just to go to another location to get our rings cleaned. Being young doesn't contribute to not being able to buy product from a diamond store, yet every time I'm looked at as I shouldn't be there. And I was questioned when I didn't need financing and paid in full for my wife's wedding band, ring, and my ring in full. We absolutely love all the employees at the chandler location, and have never had any experience like this location. read more

When I purchased her Engagement and our Wedding Bands I was a 5 Star fane of Helzberg Diamonds. I have since bought several other pieces for my wife on subsequent holidays. We bring them in every five to six months religiously to have them checked and cleaned once a year. The reason for the 2 Star rating is the fact to get them cleaned keeps taking longer and longer. We expect the typical 7 to 10 days. However last time it took three weeks. Today theI are telling me that they will take in excess of four weeks to be cleaned. That is completely unacceptable. We will do it because we like them cleaned that often, but who wants to be without their diamonds for a month a year. They need to find a way to get it back to the 7 to 10 days it used to be! It seems they are lengthening the time to get your rings cleaned to HIGHLY DISCOURAGE the use of this service. You spend the extra money at a company like this and they play these games 12 years later. Look elsewhere if follow up costumer service is one of the things you value when you purchase a diamond ring. read more

They have a way to track repairs but, can't track inspections? So if you loose your care card (it can happen Helzberg for crying out loud) they want to charge you for repairs. In my case $147 for something that should be under warranty. I was charged last year for a repair and I had my care card with me!!!! They aren't very friendly when you're just getting repairs or getting a cleaning because they aren't making money off of you. Oh but they were kissing ass when we were shopping! They didn't want to go above and beyond to try and address my issue. They just kept saying "it's policy, sorry." I guess this is normal and ok business practice for them. Stay away from this store and company. I won't ever buy a piece of jewelry from them again. I'd rather go to the store right across the way from them, their competitors. Went here for a Valentine's gift. I normally go to Zales, but didn't see anything there that jumped out at me and nothing at Kay's as well. I had never been to a Helzberg Diamonds but thought the selection was good. There were several pieces I was interested in. A sales person stayed with me while I shopped; that may annoy some people, but she was not pushy and was very patient as we were in the store browsing for awhile. I am self admittedly anal on picking out any major purchase. The reason I think it was good was if I wanted to see something she was right there. My grandma has been shopping at this jeweler for years I used to come in here when I was little and get the pins saying "I am loved". So for this Christmas me and my mom decided to buy my grandma a bangle. When I drove to go buy it on my moms behalf I was treated as if I wasn't suppose to even be in the store. As a customer i've never ever been treated as if I'm stupid and the employees made me feel as such. They asked for my number and I gave them my moms because I was unaware you had to have an account with them to buy anything. So after she said the number I gave was not in the system I explained how I wasn't sure what number to use and that I could call my mom. The lady standing right next to her looked at her and they both looked confused or something. The lady next to her then said "Ya that's why I didn't say anything." So I explained how my grandma would have a number and gave them that one instead which worked and I was out of the store. I don't know if they treated me bad because I'm younger and typically they're customer is older women. Nonetheless I'm sadly never stepping foot in that store again. I went in today to pick up my ring from having warranty work, the sales manager took my claim check and then answered the phone and spent her time chatting to a customer while we waited. The sales rep took my check and brought over my ring when it was apparent that the manager was too busy. I stepped outside for a moment and when I walked back in my husband had signed for the ring and I put it on. I had them clean another ring and while we were waiting the sales manager spoke to the rep as though we weren't present and asked her "is this Abby's signature?" I answered no and she continued to speak to the rep and ignore me, "well abby needs to sign this". The rep was great and pleasant but store management needs some work. read more

My husband surprised me a few years ago with a more expensive diamond ring to replace the simple diamond ring that I was married with almost 30 years ago. We had the protection plan and I was very good about getting it checked every 6 months. 2 Months ago, I noticed that the gold sides of the ring were cracking on both sides and I was at risk of losing some of the baguette diamonds. I took it in and it was sent off for repair. I received a phone call that the ring could not be repaired. They honored the protection plan and I was told I could select any jewelry in the store (or online) for the full value that my husband had paid years before. They would also give me a credit for the protection plan he had purchased. I had gotten used to wearing my original wedding ring so I decided to purchase a watch, bracelet, amethyst ring and two pendent necklaces instead of another diamond ring. Throughout this, the staff was wonderful and cheery, especially Mary. They were very patient and helpful as I picked various other pieces of jewelry since I was trying to not spend more than the credit I had. We will definitely use them in the future. read more
