I have been coming to Fast Lane Oil Change for over 15 years and I will continue go to them because of their quality service and more. I only go there every couple thousand miles but every time I'm greeted with great customer service. Most of the time I'm in and out for a quick oil change but on occasion I get minor work done to my car. They keep detailed records of your previous visits and keep me updated on changing out parts and necessary car fluids. It may not seem like much but with how much we use our vehicles it is great knowing that mine has been checked out and ready to go for the next 4,000 miles. Just pull on into the back and sign some quick paperwork and you will have your car ready to go in a matter of minutes. Also, they do have an Axxess card deal at all locations so don't forget to mention it at the time of checkout.

    Side window with bird poop.

TLTR: they don't perform all services, get upset when you call them out on it, and overcharge compared to other places. Wish i had read the reviews first as it would have saved me some money and perhaps gotten a better experience. This was my first time (and last ) going to Fast Lane. A young man greeted me and asked me to bring my car around the back, then pointed to an area and told me i could wait there. I didn't realize there was a whole other office behind their working area. I stood at the counter next to the shop. Glanced around the place a bit then put my focus on my cell phone watching reruns of Buffy while playing solitaire. Twenty minutes later my car was done and i was instructed to go through the green door to pay. There are two green doors, and i asked him which one and went into the right one. It was at that point i realized i had walked into this place from the back end as there was an office and waiting room. Another man (older) came in to charge me. It cost $145 total! It used to cost me $60 to change my oil on my old car. I had assumed synthetic oil cost more until reading the comments. i read the receipt and realized they had added services that probably added for the cost increase, including vacuuming the interior of the car. As i looked at my receipt and took pictures to show my husband that the oil change had been completed, the first nice young man walked in and asked me if i had any questions. I explained to him what i was doing and we were cool. However, when i went back out to my car, i noticed the floors had not been vacuumed. I found the young man and told him i did have a question - my receipt said the floors service had been completed, however it looked like i had not received that service (?). He told me that they stopped doing that during Covid. Not really sure i buy that since it's been years that Covid regulations have decreased and none of the workers there wore masks... not to mention they were inside my car driving it without a mask on... so how is this a valid excuse? I asked the young man why it said the service was completed then when it was not, and he told me the computer just says that automatically. I wondered why they would list services they didn't perform, so i straightforwardly asked, " was there anything else that was not completed that says was completed on my receipt?" He didn't really get much of a chance to answer as the other older man came over to tell me that all services had been done because i was standing there watching them which was really offensive. He seemed really offended by my question and presence. Frankly, i feel offended that there's a high price tag and I'm paying for at least one service I'm not even getting. His tone was confrontational (my question must have really offended him), so i stuck to the facts and told him i didn't realize there was a waiting room/ office behind me until the end as this was my first time there, and told him i just want to know what else was not done as my receipt says the car vacuuming was completed when it was not. After telling me that he heard the younger guy tell me to wait in the office (call me a liar without calling me a liar lol) and repeated his assumption that i chose to stand there watching them which was rude and offensive. Dude what's the big deal? Yes, i stood there. No, i was not watching you... and even if i were, it's my car and i don't know you so people who do watch have a right to. He was upset so i repeated my question about the carpet vacuuming service and showed him my receipt where it says "completed". He just said "oh i guess we forgot to do that" and waved me off while walking away. I got in my car and left.... But honestly, and especially after reading all the reviews and realizing how "offended" the service tech was, i seriously wonder if my car is ok. I liked the young man who attended me and feel he got stuck in the middle once his coworker got involved. As a good business practice, they should remove a service they are not in fact offering from their "package". Floor vacuuming is listed on their website, on the office wall, and on their receipts. It leaves a bad flavor when they claim to offer and complete a service they actually don't. Put another way, if the customer can visually see that something they paid for wasn't done, might that not be an indication of work not done on things they cannot see? Their website lists that they wash the exterior windows. In my picture, you can see how i was able to write "hi" on my back window after going to fast lane and there's bird poop on the side windows. Again, they are listing services they do not do (two now), so I'm wondering what else they're not doing. Another thought - if they didn't complete services when they claimed the owner was "watching" them, what quality of work can customer expect when they are not "watching"?

$103 dollars for a full synthetic oil change & filter??? WOW, NEVER AGAIN

Fast oil change. Got my oil changed in about 15 minutes, vs waiting 88 min at the "iffy" national chain across town.

Got right in one Saturday morning. They found a few things that had been overlooked at a different oil change business!

I set-up an appointment, showed a little early, and by my appointment time the car was on the rack and the tires were mounted, balanced and back on my Outback in no time. They noticed my brake pads were close to needing a replacement and pointed that out to me. I had already set that up and was just waiting on new pads, but it showed that they're on the ball and observant, which I appreciate. They weren't pushy about it, I'm sure they would have given me a great price for the work, but I already had it set-up with my mechanic. Tires and brakes are important, it's where the rubber literally meets the road, and stopping your car is more important than making it go! I appreciated them looking out for my safety. I guess that's one of the reasons they've been around so long. Highly recommend. You can feel confident taking your vehicle here for service.

I'm a local and Ian's came with lots of recommends. Maybe they were just having a bad day? I went for tires and can tell you the dealership where I bought my car sells the same tires for less. I called early, took my car in, and was then told they needed it overnight. I was flexible, maybe they saw me as a chump, but they put on a shocking hardsell. Stuff like upgrading tires amd using nitrogen instead of air. It was over the top. Maybe it was a bad day or bad employee but I would not go back.
