He got to know the idiosyncrasies of this vehicle, we talked & messaged together very effectively, & then we pinpointed parts that I ordered out of state & internationally. Where workarounds were necessary too, he was very open to considering them. For a curious individual like me, he's willing to explain to me everything that he is fixing, the characteristics of each diagnosis, and when you can LEARN what he did on your car by him showing you that this is his thought process, you know he only hits you with facts and "experimental data". My car turned off its ignition on its own because the computer detected something was off, he topped off the car for me to save my engine, and charged me practically nothing. Then, my rear wheel's brake failed catastrophically on a Friday night right after I got off work. I texted him if he could fix the car for me on Saturday since I had to go to work on Sunday, and he did. I brought him my car on *Saturday* at 9:15 am, and 12 hours later it was completed. Car is moving steadily, no problem whatsoever! Later he billed me x amount. I felt like he deserved a great tips so I tipped him, and asked if I could get a receipt, and only by looking at the receipt did I realize he gave me a 20%+ discount. Not only am I getting quality service out of it, I also got educated on what the indicators are in car problems! Out of curiosity I came to eddie because I've had great experiences here, jiffy lube is just convenient and so close to home. Eddie laughed and said my breaks were perfect. Then he said the easiest way to tell if you have a leak, he asked do you have assigned parking? Is there any fluid in your parking spit when you leave? I said no. He said he would be doing a differential oil change too. Upon inspection he said that they took out a spark plug and it looked fairly new, then took out another one to make sure it wasn't just one plug changed. He said it appears all the plugs were changed recently and we didn't need to spend money redoing that. The differential oil was changed recently too. He could easily have changed both of these, and charged me to increase his revenue, but chose honesty. It's a rare find to know that a mechanic company stands behind their reputation of honesty.
