I drop my phone on a walk late at night and cracked the screen. I was so upset that I was going to have to get up in the morning and buy another $700 phone. My mom told me there's places that could fix the glass so I went on yelp. I found this little store right by my house and took it in. I was already to drop my phone off and have it take three days for it to be fixed, but that was not the case. A very nice woman took my phone and told me to come back in half an hour. I was so happy and then thought that I was going to have to pay hundreds of dollars for the service, but that was not the case either. It was only $95 and they did an excellent job. They can also fix other things on the phone. Now I will feel much better the next time I drop my phone. This next review is from a more recent visit. I can't say enough about this repair shop and the people who work there. They are nice and patient with any problems brought to them. They did above and beyond on a phone that frankly was just a real pain to fix. They spent two long days working on this phone and just charge me for a battery which is unheard of. I cracked my iphone screen and needed a repair fast! I made my way over to the store, sat down on the couch, and 60 minutes later the phone was fixed. The screen actually had a defective part, so I took it back a week later, and they fixed it all again with no extra cost. Note: The material used to replace the screen, may not be the same as the original apple version, so take care of your replacement with a screen protector and case. I got a quote within minutes for my iPhone 8 Plus cracked screen. In addition to price, quoted 30min work time and drop-in welcome. I went over on a weekday after work. Sure enough my phone was serviced right away. it took a bit longer than 30min, b/c a couple of customers came in, but wasn't bad at all. This is the second time I had to replace the screen. First time it was a different vendor, screen color came back achromatic. I couldn't stand it. It was more expensive and didn't survive the drop with casing on. This time screen more vibrant, at first i thought too much magenta, but i think the eyes needed to adjust after the dull colors on previous screen. Workmanship much better than previous too. What's the last thing you expect when getting your phone repaired? For it to be damaged further. That's what happened here. I came in for a screen repair on my iPhone and was given my phone back with an after market screen and a big dent on my phone that was never there. First problem i had: The after market screen made the display look like it was a toy. Extremely cheap. Steve apologized for not letting me know beforehand that he can put and original apple screen on. I was willing to pay the extra cash no problem. Second: As i was giving him back the phone to add the apple screen, i noticed a big dent on the back of my phone. I've had a case on my phone since I purchased it. I also examined my phone before sending it off for repair. The dent was never there. Third: I cancel the whole order and take my business elsewhere to find out It is beyond repair since Steve bent the frame of the phone in order to put the after market screen in. Looks like he forced the screen on, which caused the dent. Throughout this whole experience, Steve was extremely dishonest and did not want to compensate me for all the time i wasted there, and especially for damaging my phone. I do not recommend going here. Do not go to this place they broke my husbands Phone and had my husband come back several times and he went purchase new power cords and supplies making someone look foolish when you broke the phone . They then lied and wanted to take my phone apart again a forth time . We took it to an authorized technician and was told they mashed my connector inside when they replaced the port . I have been struggling with finding every angle for my lightning cord that will allow my phone to charge. I didn't know whether it was my lightning cord that was the problem or my charging port. Constant purchases of lightning chargers were made throughout the year, and my newest one recently broke after battling with my iPhone 5. After months of frustration, I have finally given up and decided to surf the web which led me to this place. My friend, who had dropped her phone and shattered her iPhone 5's screen with a result of a busted home-screen button, came along with me. We called different locations to compare prices and this place sure had the BEST, and by BEST I mean really CHEAP prices. I had asked to have my charging port to be fixed ($50 w/ labor), while my friend asked to have her screen to be replaced ($99 + $5 or $10 for the home button). We left our phones with him, while my friend and I headed to Valley Fair to shop for an hour. We came back and it was all completely done, just like brand new. He also charged my phone for me because it was low-bat (how nice of him). Before calculating the total price, he would explain the problems with the phones and what he fixed, which was very interesting. My friend was going to buy the yelp deal (pay $10 for $20, I believe, but he said we didn't have to and that he would just split it between the both of us... $5 off hers and $5 off mines). We were also interested in buying screen protectors, but instead of us paying $5 each, he only charged us $1 each, plus they installed it for us. My total came out to be: $47 My friend's total: $101 Because of the great service and mad cheap prices plus great offers, I left an extra $13 tip, while my friend left him with $10. I really recommend this place if you're looking for a FAST, CHEAP and GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE repair shop. Came into Fast Repair after a failed attempt by a coworker to change my cracked Led screen. The iPhone would not turn back after he attempted to replace the screen for some reason. Within 20 mins the lady at Fast Repair fix the problem and replace the screen all for $75 to replace cracked screen. $15 was add for damages photo cable( probably cause by my coworker) total cost $90. Free screen cover which is equivalent to $10.00 My iPhone insurance wanted to charge me $112 deductible and the iPhone would not arrive until two business days. So happy I found this place. PS: When Looking for the shop use mattress furniture store and Wells Fargo bank as you're references points to know where to turn at. Than drive straight to the back. I called to inquire about fixing my nexus 5. I had called a few places and they ranged from $150-170. This shop had a Chinese woman who didn't speak English very well. She said "oh there's a special! It's $130" and I said "$130?" And she responds "no! $130!" So i say ok I'm coming in .. I get there and suddenly her English improves and she said its $170. I had just driven 30 miles and so I said fine. I came back to pick up my phone and tell her I bought the yelp deal $10 for $20. She responds "you can't use that. Price includes deal" How does it include a deal that I have to purchase?! Anyway, she argues with me and finally honors it but adds $8 in taxes to make up for the voucher's discount. I'm irritated but I say fine. I needed to leave and didn't want to argue. I get home and my wireless charger no longer works... It worked the night before with the cracked screen. They have done fantastic jobs on every broken screen I have had. I have had four screen done in the past 3 years, and two of them just this past week. Kids are a mofo; broke my wife's screen just before a small vacation and broke my phone on vacation. I asked for the OEM glass for my i7, and it looked amazing. Only issue, was I had a really difficult time seeing the screen with polarized sunglasses. I got back from a work trip and they replaced it for me. 5 stars, as she noticed a scratch on the OEM screen, did not charge me for the damage AND gave me a screen protector to prevent scratching on this screen. Gotta thanks these guys. Garry was cool and collective. I brought in my daughter's Samsung Captivate Glide as my 19 month old got a hold of it and threw it on our stone tile floors. For me, they repaired an iPhone 5S and 4S cracked screen, turned abound in less than an hour. Looked great! They accept all major credit cards and the transaction was painless. The tech was friendly They don't use genuine Apple parts and are quick to tell you that. This is not unexpected. They offer a short 30 day warranty, which worries me a little, but not a lot. They are open convenient hours, quick, and inexpensive. So far, the repairs are working as well as the original, so I have no complaints. I had the screen of a 7+ replaced here. The service was fast enough and pleasant as well. I was given an option of 2 types of screens, one is off market and the other is apple brand. For an extra $30-50 (I dont remember exactly) I went with the apple product because the sales man said the other screen may distort the color on the screen. When I picked it up, everything was fine. I could feel a slight lip on the area where the screen meets the phone, but no big deal to me. After my service here, my phone started to become glitchy and would click places that I didnt intend too - This may be to damage from breaking the screen, not sure. My phone slid off of a 2 foot high shelf onto Pergo flooring (fake wood floor) that is not very hard at all. The glass shattered along with causing damage to the display underneath. I believe a iPhone should not have shattered from this minor fall but it did. Maybe its my luck or maybe it was a bad product from this location. Either way, I paid $139 (including a $20 discount) when I could have gone to apple for $169 and got the real deal. There needs to be a bigger price gap for the *potential* of a lower quality product read more

I'm extremely surprised this is shop is rated as high as it is. My initial experience was pleasant, I dropped off my iphone for glass repair, was quoted 30minutes to fix and recieved $5 for paying cash. The quote with the discounts came out to $50 total since I'm still in possession of an old phone. So far so good. When I returned for my phone the technician wrote a note and verbal told the evening shift to charge me $55. Saying the original price was $60... Ok, whatever. 5 bucks... Shortly after paying and leaving the store I noticed the home button was unsecured and jiggled noticeably compared to before. After returning, and told the technician he said it was due to the wear and year on the mechanics of the button itself. Wtf... That's funny cause my device worked properly before Guys touched it. After arguing for ten minutes he finally agreed to fix the issue they caused. While I waited for nearly 3 hours in store 5 of 6 were returning customers to get their device iced again due to various issues... One woman actually claimed they lost her SIM card. Another had his laptop fixed and now there is a delay in his typing as well as my texting. I would not recommend the hassle, considering GHOST ARMOR kiosk is right in Oak Ridge mall. They quoted $10 more dollars but I would've had three more hours not wasted. Edit: since the repair I have had difficulties hearing anyone on my phone even on speaker.... Additionally the two star shaped nuts on the bottom (iphone) are both unscrewing!!! Wtf Seriously, I hope no other customer had this much difficulty getting their phone "repaired" here. read more

I am not sure on why this place gets good reviews. I came in today and the owner there was going to charge me $80 to get my screen replaced. Not everything in the front of my phone, just the glass screen of my Samsung Galaxy S3. The wait time was supposed to be 2 hours. But due to him being backed up... The wait time was even longer. I picked up my device... Cool, a new screen. Not cool... There was etching on the frame of my phone. WTF. Not only that, I guess whatever gel glue was used got into the inside of my screen a bit. UGH. Oh... And there is a tiny crack in the new screen. ARE YOU SERIOUS? The owner tried to tell me it was weird and that he did not want to give me a guess on what it could be... That he has fixed many S3's and used the same glue, etc. Basically giving excuses. He told me to come in and bring the phone back next week to fix the frame. At this point, I do not even want them to touch my phone EVER again. Best to get the repairs done from the factory. HA! The guy tried to tell me... You get what you paid for! Wow. read more

This is by far the cheapest place I could find to get my ipad screen replaced. I was worried since the cost was less expensive than other places so I assumed they used cheap glass. Instead I find the quality of the glass excellent. They buffed out some of the edges for me and were very helpful. Since having the repair though there is a small "shadow" over part of the screen. It's like the screen is dimmer than other parts. I'm a perfectionist so I noticed it, but it's no deal breaker.Honestly the cost and friendly service makes up for it and a shadow isn't going to hold me back from using my ipad. read more

I purposely waited a month or so post-repair before writing this review--long story short, my phone is still working great! This review is for charging port repair, not screen. Details: Samsung S3 (yes, older phone because I am a tech neanderthal) while charging was dropped and landed funny on the charging cord thus instantly messing up the charging port. To properly charge, I had to angle the cord and phone "just right"--this small problem can get big fast, so fix ASAP if it happens to you! Dropped by one day just to get an in-person quote (I was in the neighborhood) and a friendly lady quoted me $40 and said it would need to be held overnight. I needed phone that day so said I would return later. Got in car and called a "more popular" cell phone repair shop in the area, and was quoted $65 but 2 hours. Well, $25 bucks is no petty change for me so I knew I would be back to this location. Came back on a Saturday and this time a gentleman quoted me $45. Eh, I'm not beat up about $5 so I said sure. The reason they needed to keep overnight was because I think they solder stuff at another location. He took very detailed notes of my phone in front of me (good!) so I felt secure with leaving my phone with them. Didn't have to pay until picked up. Got a print out sheet with documentation and was told I would get a call back when ready for pick up. Well here was my mistake -- apparently overnight means 1 overnight business day. (This location is not opened on Sunday, which I found out after waiting for a phone call on Sunday.) So Monday comes and around 4PM I finally gave up waiting and gave them a call--phone was ready, but they were just charging it fully up for (thanks!). So picked it up, paid the $45 plus tax, and here I am writing a review--charging port is almost good as new (obviously needed the port to be replaced so it takes an extra few seconds to calibrate but no need to twist the cord to a specific angle any more!) and is going strong! Location: It's kind of hidden away, and I recommend you study the map before going there. It's in a tiny alcove of a shopping plaza, next to the Chevron station (NOTE: This Chevron has cheapest gas in area!!!). Next to the cross fit workout place. Plenty of not-busy off-street parking. A+ service, A+ price, and most importantly--it is a quality fix job! Ending note: There were clear signs around the shop that said that there is no 100% guarantee it could be fixed, or that it would stay fixed--understandable, since tech products these days are not built to last long (I'm looking at you, frequent phone updaters who ruin it for all of us). But the technician made sure to thoroughly check my phone before hand to best verify that my repair job would be most likely do-able. read more

Broke my iPhone 6 screen and brought it in for repair. Fast friendly service. Cost was around $125. I think Apple wanted something ludicrous like $300. After about a month the screen started lifting up. I took it back and after a few mins they repaired it with more adhesive and explained to me that the frame of my phone was actually slightly bent from putting it in my back pocket which was making the straight screen lift up. I really appreciated that they didn't charge me for this. After a week the screen is still holding up nicely and I appreciate the advice on getting a better case to protect the more delicate frames of the 6 and 6s models. read more

Dropped my AT&T samsung galaxy s2 1/4 the way into water, had some strange charging problems and over-voltage errors. Reading online, it sounded like there was a good chance that something in the micro-usb port was shorting out, but I wasn't sure what was all damaged. I took my phone apart as much as i was comfortable with and didn't see any obvious damage (good). I tried a place closer to my house (other place in morgan hill, I live in Gilroy), but it was deceptive advertising, they only sell accessories for android, but dont' work on them (only iphones). So, I call think it was Mike at fest repair and give him the low down. He says it's probably what I think it was, but best to bring it by for them to check out (free diagnosis!). I bring it by, and while I'm at lunch at Aqui (nearby), they check it out, I call back, and sure enough, upon initial investigation, it's probably the micro-usb pcb board/flex cable, but they want to do more tests to be sure, and estimate it will be ready tomorrow and fixed (awesome). I call back the next day, turns out their supplier didn't stock the part, so I was bummed. Fortunately, they confirmed it was the micro-usb PCB flex cable, and told me, with my skills (I work for a company that produces system on chip for phones and tablets), that putting it together once I source the part should be cake. Still bummed, I order the part, wondering if I'll break the phone in the process (lots of very very very small parts, and parts that don't take well to force. I order the part they recommended on amazon that day. My wife goes to pick up the phone, both she and I tried to pay them for their diagnosis, but they wouldn't take it. Now, here's where they go the extra mile (and one of the reasons I'm going out of my way to write this review). Someone at Fast repair (mike?) drew a diagram that made it super easy to understand the order that you take things apart in the phone to replace this board. (I saw this, and was blown away). It's rare these days to find a business that will go above and beyond, but the folks at Fast Repair on Blossom Hill do this. Thanks guys! (very much appreciated). I came here a few months back and cannot recommend this place high enough. I was walking down the street one day when I dropped my iPhone. My spirit was crushed and so was my screen. I looked them up online and made a phone call. I was in the peninsula at the time and wouldn't be back till around their closing time and they said that they would be there and be able to do the job no problem. They did just that. I came in about 45 minutes before closing, gave them the phone, and next thing you know it's like brand shiny new. Pricing was better than anywhere else I called and service was too.
