We thought we figured it out but they suggested it might actually be the internet provider. When they left the issue came back (not their fault), I contacted them and let them know it came back, the owner said that because they weren't able to resolve the issue he was not going to charge me! Instead of having me bring it in, or coming to my address, I was given some very, very excellent, and free, advice over the phone! The advice was to return the HP printer; and, exchange it for a Brother printer. I am extremely pleased that I followed the advice given by NMPCMD!! But it's telling to me to see the long-dead zombies waking from their years of defunctitude, with their goliath towers and ancient green screens impossibly blinking back to life. This guy is a wizard I think.
