My No. 1 problem, for me, was that for various reasons, I couldn't get into Microsoft 365 (formerly Microsoft Office) to renew my subscription. I mentioned this when I made the appointment. Should not have been a surprise. When "the technician" got here, he had no idea how to get into my account. This morning I tried again to do it myself. And -- amazing -- I got in. Took me 15 minutes. I have paid over a thousand dollars to various computer repair places over the past two years. I am finally realizing that most "technicians" can't fix anything but the elementary stuff. Does anyone ever ask where they went to school to learn about computers?? Bet not. Me neither, unfortunately. I will from now on, that's for sure. They also complete the work quickly... usually within a couple of days. Even if they are busy and it takes a bit longer, they will be straight up with you and give you a realistic timeline. For this particular project I needed a new hard drive installed and my keyboard checked and cleaned.
