One of the worst locations I have been to the car wash is a joke. The wash doesn't even get the dirt off and the soap doesn't stay in the car long enough to soak the dirt. The vacuums don't work the air blowers don't have any pressure. I pay for 5 cars and I will be looking for a new car wash . On a Sunday afternoon in Late August, I came here to wash my car. The line is shorter at Monrovia location than Pasadena. I paid cash since the line was shorter. The staff person was nice and I got my $10 car wash. Too bad, the car wash keeps missing small yellow bird poop. On the email coupon it says to print it out but the cashier was nice enough to help me out and email that forward to a staff. Thanks cashier! ( I forgot to get your name) And Ben for taking the email. Usually I wash my own car but life gets busy and you don't really have time to do a hand wash. Super convenient but doesn't completely dry off the car. Be prepared to touch up yourself (bring a towel or 2) The vacuum dry station does have compressed air to blow off the excess water but don't expect it to be strong enough to blow it all off. Typically I have no complaints, but this time, I went to the cashier line to redeem my half off of premium wash. The cashier was busy talking in the booth, to the point he closed the door. Five stars for Ethan at Fast5Xpress Car Wash in Monrovia. He has a very positive demeanor and a great attitude while attending the cars entering the wash. You can tell he takes pride in what he does. I also noticed he protects his hearing by wearing ear plugs, which shows he works safely and professionally. It really stood out because some other staff looked bored or annoyed, but Ethan was the complete opposite. He was alert, friendly, and made the whole experience more pleasant. Came by because I was in a rush and needed a quick car wash and paid 19 for a gold wash, and not even close to worth it. Left dirt and grime all over the car. Some parts of the car were completely dry and dirty like it was never washed. Won't be going here again wasted my time scrubbing in the vacuum area and money on an overpriced wash. I drive past this place a lot and I've always seen a long line. I gave it a shot for the first time and at first, I thought wow this is very convenient and quick. I can see the vacuum area get busy if people take their time. But when I was using the vacuum, I notice my car was still dirty, especially the rear window. I use to to a coin up car wash down the street and they did a better job of cleaning the car. I'm still a fan of this place. I have a subscription for my car wash and I love it. I go maybe twice a week depending on how dirty my van gets during my busy workweek. Although I come in at opening often times it's already busy. I opt for the platinum wash so I get the nice overall package. The only thing that sometimes is a hit or miss is when the clerk pushing us through the wash will forget to give the complimentary wipes and air freshener that comes with the platinum wash. But I guess I have to really make sure they're aware I'm asking for it or I just won't get it. Overall it's a good value for me and my family to have this subscription. read more

You should make sure he does it so you aren't sued for the wiper being broken due to his laziness. Also he has a bucket with a brush and soap in it to prep dirt or bird poop. I was previously a monthly member. And after stopping for a bit, I decided to sign back up. I don't know what has gone awry recently, but what a garbage job I have gotten on my car lately. Most recently like two days ago I went and washed my car because of the rain. My car wasn't dirty per se, but it was certainly rain strict. After two passes through it still looked like this on the back and the sides. Already the service is a little suspect. I feel like we're always an inconvenience when we come to them. Also, the big roller at the end never works and when you leave the car wash, your car is absolutely sopping wet. They do have a ton of vacuum areas which is great, and I do utilize them to their fullest And they have a little air things that you can blow out extra water with which I also use, but that leave streaks too. But it's the wash that I'm disappointed with. For 35 bucks a month I think that my car should be clean if I take it through. And after I take it through twice and it still looks that way it's super disappointing. I want to cancel but there's no chat or anything and there's no email you have to just call and of course they're not open so... I'll have to see how easy it is to call once I Get a hold of someone. But overall I wish this was a better review because this location is super convenient, but I feel like it has certainly gone down in quality over the last few months. read more

Who would have thought your car would end up dirtier after going through a car wash than before? Not me. Went for a wash tonight and the machine spewed what appeared to be industrial oil all over my car. I immediately notified an employee after my wash and she offered a re-wash. I went back for a premium wash and the same thing happened again. By the second wash, it was 10 minutes until closing so I chalked it up to my tremendous luck and left. This location seems to constantly have faulty equipment. Quite often, the wrap around arms that wash the front, sides, and back of the car don't even touch the front or back. The water and soap spray quite often doesn't even start until the washing arms have already started touching the car. The people directing the cars into the washing machine often wanna stack them within a couple feet of each other, and it seems like this causes issues with the machinery detecting the difference between the two cars, because it will sometimes pull the arms out of the way before it even touches my car. I will purposely wait until there is at least one car length between my car and the previous car, which usually makes the attendant irritated. The most frustrating experience I had there was when I went through the wash, one of the arms didn't even rotate, which washes the front, right side, and back of the car. When I brought that to the manager's attention, he said that they were aware and that it would be repaired in about a week. I have the monthly membership, so it didn't affect me that much, but I can't imagine how irritated I would be if I paid $20 or more for a car wash and it didn't even touch half of the car. We'll see if anything improves at this location within the next month or so, otherwise I'll be canceling my membership. Really stinks, because it is definitely very convenient to have this kind of car wash and membership service. read more

After you run your car through the machine, you can vacuum, wipe your car down, and make your car look extra pretty. I come here every now again and the platinum wash usually does a good job. Today, however, I saw there was a platinum promo for $10, and I REGRET IT! DO NOT GET IT!!!!!!! SCAMMMMM!!!!!! My car went through the wash super fast so it didn't seem like I got all the layers of soap, shine, bath, wax, conditioner, etc. that I usually get with a original priced platinum job. When I checked my car at the end, the bottom 70% of my car was dirty! Think about that--only 30% of my car looked clean. I don't know what wash other people chose, but when I looked at their cars too, FILTHY too!!!! When I left and drove down towards Tommy's, I saw another place right next to Fast5 that looked like it offered a car wash service. Great value if you just need a quick wash and vacuum. We drive through in between Bronze or Gold, not too sure if any difference in cleaning/washing the car so far. Sometimes the big round brush towards the end of wash to wipe off water is not working. It can get pack on a bright shiny days, so we plan to come in when it's cloudy or almost raining. Use to be my go to 6 months back, I travel up north for work sometimes with my car. Renewed today after about a 3 month hiatus and what a change! I pulled up where Dante helped me get signed up again, he never asked which level of service I wanted assumed Platinum, no problem it's what I had prior and I will give him the benefit of doubt, yet lacking customer service imo. I went through with no issue and park at vacuum station and notice the blowers are gone , I have a 10 &6 yo and that is honestly the main reason I come here( crumbs in seats ) I went back to Dante and he said they were gone and not mandatory but complimentary ( huh?). I told him I would like a refund considering and also back of my suv didn't get wet in the process of being washed. He told me no I already went through, which I did I then asked him to com look at my suv, he refused. I asked if I could speak with a supervisor and he said " I am the manager!" I wiped down just the back of the suv and pic is attached.. Use to be decent express car wash...I can to what they offer in my driveway or a cup and water! Dante agreed to my refund when I asked if I must file a dispute with my Cc company and or for the owners business card... I don't think going to a self service car wash should be this difficult.
