Normally bring my work truck here and spend a pretty penny. Workers are solid and job gets done. I normally have a golid experience, but today on Sunday 7.26 at 10am I just dealt with some older lady with an accent. I asked if I can exchange money for tips for their workers , and she says i have to buy something. Weird i have never had that before as the cashiers i normally deal with on Saturdays are chill and just take it from my card. I buy a water and ask for change , she asks how much , and I said well id like 20$ deducted from this purchase. She says so not one 20? Im like no thanks, just deduct it from the bottle you're saying I have to buy and to just give me the rest of the change with smaller bills. She says "so no 20$ tip?" With like a dumb tone. I just explain again no and my plan was to give the dude like 10$ bucks and have a couple singles and a five if it were like multiple dudes working on the truck. Bought a water bottle for 2.79. She didn't deduct it but added for a grand total of 22.79? I explicitly said not to do that? Dude i pay like 175$ for these washes off my company card every other week for a nice detail and the dudes do a solid job . I tip outta my own pocket and she just made this experience annoying. Typically its a solid place, but shes also being like loud , condescending, and so it was just an unpleasant experience. Still a solid place. But 4/5 for this experience because I know she probably like that with other customers too. read more

Tbh 2 days after the problem is resolved I wanted to sht on this place so bad. But I waited. As the addage, "cooler heads prevail". I saw this car wash having a promotion on those mail catalog booklets and also at Albertsons Arcadia. I saw that the prices were competitive against the other local car washes (faschings and temple city car wash). So I took my bmw x1 to Nu Way. My first impression is..ok it's a mom and pop business. What I love about these old car washes is that they have windows that show you your car being washed. But this one does not clean their windows and you really can't see what they're doing. I then went into the cashier/store area. Really gives me a 1970s vibe. But the ceiling tiles were bulging/swollen like when it last rained, the roof was leaking. So far so...ok, I was waiting for my car and then I went outside to the patio where I think there used to be a fountain but they covered it up. When my car came out of the car wash the rear tow hitch cover was missing. I thought that they remove it but after a while my gut feeling says I have to ask where the cover is. The guy who was wiping down my car said, "I don't know, ask the guys". So I went to the cashier and told them about the missing tow hitch. I then spoke to the shift supervisor and he was asking the guys where it is. No luck. Then the shift supervisor referred me to the GM, Nick. First thing that he said, "you probably came in without it". Wow, gaslighting. I can't believe the customer service skills of this guy. I told him that if he doesn't believe me, I got a video with a time stamp with me coming out of my house 15 mins before I arrived to the car wash (cuz it takes that long). He doesn't care, so he went to the video cameras in his office. Lo and behold when my car appeared for the first time in the car wash, the rear tow hitch is still there at the bumper. And then we followed the car where it goes then sometime in the middle of the car wash line the rear tow hitch cover is still there. But it's weird the car came out without it The rear tow hitch cover has a string, so it can be attached to the bumper. Its hard for it to come off unless you pull it. Nick said, "oh maybe you went to the cheap car washes in the area and that's how it got damaged bad". Look who's talking. And also, of all the car washes I went to with my car, this has to happen. And it's a 2025 bmw. If I went to a cheap car wash, you would see scratches on the clear coat. And that's not how you treat a BMW So Nick was checking out my bumper, seeing if there's a tear on the clips. He said the clips are loose. GTFO of here. I think one of their washers stole it (cuz it's nowhere to be found in the car wash line) to either stole it to sell on eBay or to just shaft it to the owner. He agreed to replace the tow hitch cover and I went on my way. He called me on my cell and he'll be in touch with me. It was nice, at least to have some sense of customer service. Went to BMW monrovia and see how much it is. $40.16. not bad. BMW monrovia is another dealer that's gaslighting especially when I rent their cars (because back then my bmw needed more than one day to service) but that's another day. Got the tow hitch replaced (reason for 2 stars). Now the question is, would i come back? Naaaahhh never ever. If you will be going to this car wash, just know the risks, especially if you got an expensive car. When I was there, didn't see premium cars and I learned from now on, this would be a red flag. read more

They can improve a lot how they wash their cars and, especially treating their customers. Bought my car and SUV here a few times. Second to last time I came had weird glue marks on my car. I used to do detailing so I know what to look for. Went back and the Manager couldn't even speak English tries to say my car got dirty elsewhere. Then try to give me some nonsense sales pitch. Go elsewhere people unless you have time for their nonsense . Note to mgr/ supervisor. I myself did not go in yesterday. I have spoken to you in the past. You did explain some type of cleaning process you have your towels /rags, but that doesn't mean it's POSSIBLE the marks came from them and or a machine. I was asking what type of solution was USED to clean my hood since it had a lacquer thinner/water smell. That is the worst thing for a car as if you use too much can strip paint. You did say it came from some type of supplier. But keep in mind and SEE that was not the question. Plus one of the big real issues here is you treated me like I was some low grade Customer and I didn't know what I was talking about. Other than that, the washes were fairly meh. read more

One of the few 100% handwash places in this entire 626 area. Their workers are always hard working. I love the waxing job and the solutions they use do not damage the vehicle's paint. Only thing is sometimes the wait can be long, so I recommend giving yourself at least 1 hour minimum when coming here. Minus 1 star mainly because they are not good about being fair on 1st come, first serve. Sometimes people who come after me end up being serviced first. Lastly, if you have anything in your car that you don't want sprayed, remove it cause they will spray everything and anything without a care. read more

It's an old school hybrid hand and machine carwash. The service is very prompt and friendly. And your car for less than $10 looks a lot newer than you thought it was before you washed it. I've been coming here off & on to wash my 2022 Honda CR-V. I usually get basic service, yet on Tuesday, I scratched one side of my car from bushes, and decided to go see if they could help me. It was estimated 2 hours to do the polish, deep clean. Nick & Francisco worked miracles! All but one deeper scratch was GONE, my car looked new again! Worth every penny, plus I'll try to come more regularly for sure. Grateful it was a gorgeous day, waited outside at one of the tables to watch, plus they kept me updated on status. Went in and it wasn't too busy. No line dropping my car off. Asked me what I wanted and then did a half hearted attempt to upsell which was pretty easy to say no and they moved on. I got the super wash as my car was only about a month old and mostly just wanted the outside done. The upcharge for SUVs is about $3, which isn't too bad tbh. From dropping my car off to it being done was about 35-40 min. They did a great job for the most part, there were a few crevices that did have some water that would spill out as I was driving later and leave noticeable water marks, but ultimately the quality is hard to beat at the price point. read more

Paid for a clay and hand wax, when they said it was ready, there were several spots that the car wash dirty... several fine scratches that weren't on the car before, and it was clear that they were just rushing to get the car gone. When I complained, the person in charge started arguing instead of addressing the concerns, before having the workers redo the clay and wax, and fully clean the car. I requested a refund for the services, and they refused. This is not the first time this has happened where the vehicles have not been cleaned as outlined against the services purchased. I will not be bringing any vehicles back, and would not recommend this car wash for anything more than a quick wash. read more

It's a hit or miss. I've been coming here because it's literally down the street from where I live. And previously I was told to get the executive car wash if I wanted the interior wiped down. But even purchasing that wash it's a hit or miss. Sometimes they do a good job...and most times even when I paid for the executive wash they don't wipe down the interior. This was today.
