Was in and out quickly, and the staff there are very polite. Was a plus that they are open on the holiday.

They decided not to send my test over until 2pm even though they have couriers multiple times per day and then elected not to process my results until after 5pm when the provider went home and then won't disclose results to me over the phone. I get that the results are not important to them, but had I been informed that I could go to the location across the street and it would have been processed faster I would have went there. And there's no recourse, too bad. They can say one thing at 10am and there's no accountability and when you call it's all ::shrug:: too bad. It's not okay to treat people this way and if results need to go through a provider there should be an option as a patient to get the results sent electonically as well. They are my results and withholding them is ridiculous. And I could understand if they said we had had a lot of urgent rushes today, but that wasn't the issue everyone just blamed everyone else, the original lab should have sent it sooner or should not have told you results today... yeah okay but they did tell me today and they didn't send them sooner so what's my recourse? Terrible customer service, Fransiscan should find a better provider to contract with that has integrity, respect and empathy foe customers.

The good thing about Northwest Laboratories is that they're part of MultiCare and the results is uploaded on MyChart. Another good thing is that you dont need appointment to get your labs done. Here is the downside, and this is not just for this location but most of Northwest Laboratories. Be prepared to wait like you're at the DMV. Everyone comes here for lab, on top of the patients that come out of this clinic after their appointment (this one houses Mary Bridge Children's hospital clinic and Multicare Family Practice in same building). So just pack your patience. First things first: like all other Northwest Laboratories, you gotta fill out one of those Blue slips upon arrival, no questions asked. The faster you fill that out, the quicker you will be seen. Its actually crowded in early morning because people want to get their blood drawn and break their fasting asap, but afternoons are just as crowded. The staff are kind and the lab staff are very knowledgeable and professional. Some labs can take a while to get your results but this one is very quick in my experience, coming from a person who has lab tests every 2 months for past 20 years. This location is smaller than the Pearl street (Tacoma) location but they are located in less busier commercial mall so I like it here for that, and quicker results. Lab staff probably are some of best I've experienced with! Lastly if you're Overlake Medical Center (Bellevue) patient, its also a plus because Overlake is now owned by Multicare and everything on MyChart is easy peasy.

This is a walk-in lab and they do all kinds of testing. I come here to get my thyroid levels checked every few months. They're always quick and helpful, kind and personable at the front desk. They get you checked in and then you wait... they'll call your name and once you go back into the lab area they are quick about their business but do a good job. I get my blood drawn a LOT and it's always nice when you're phlebotomist actually knows what they're doing. If you come early (7:30-8), the wait can be longer because everyone who is waiting on fasting blood work tends to check in first thing. Other busy times are lunchtime, and around 4 right before they close. I've see the wait shortest in the late morning or early afternoon. Can't say I have a ton of choices because this is where my doctor sends my lab request but I'm glad it's here. :)

I had to call her the next day and only waited for a minute to have someone pick up the phone! I have waited over 2 hours on the phone in Portland Oregon and have had the worst experience at other Concentra's. Seattle Concentra the employees are not especially helpful but better than Portland however you have to kick the drugged out bums out of the doorway to get into the building as they sleep in front of the door. This location with these employees rocked my world and really impressed me with the speed and thoroughness and ability to make stuff happen. My interactions with every employee was positive and especially Dr. Carina Burns she leaned on her training and helped save my eye which I ended up at a second specialist surgeon and getting surgery a few days later saving my eyesight! Thank you, the best experience hands down at all the Concentra's between Portland and Seattle! So impressed I'm sending them a thank you card. Which I have never done so that's saying something.

I wasn't taken back into an exam room until 01:40 PM--not a big deal. However, at 02:30 PM, I was taken to another exam room to wait for the doctor, and at 03:35, I finally left the exam room to ask the front desk when I was going to see the doctor since I had to go next door for a Physical Abilities Test before they closed, and I live over an hour away, so it would be ridiculous to have to drive back to this location to finish an exam that I checked in for at 01:00 PM. I told a person named Juan that I had been waiting for the doctor for over an hour, and he said, "Uh huh... sure you have," and turned around to face his computer. So I said, "'Uh huh, sure'? That's how you're going to talk to me?", and he said, "What're you gonna do about it?", in front of 5 or 6 female employees, who were nowhere nearly as bit*chy as Juan. So I said, "What am I gonna do about it!?", and the doctor who was sitting around with the staff chatting it up took me back into my room, and the doctor told me that I was being disrespectful, so I asked him how on Earth was I being disrespectful, and he said, "You're obviously slow." The doctor told me that I was "slow." At this point, I popped off. I told the doctor he was disgusting, unprofessional, etc. I don't even know what I said after that. Then the room got quiet, and he was shaking and stuttering and was like, "Well you're the one who's upset, my heartrate isn't even elevated." Bro what? He was setting paper down on imaginary surfaces while his hands were shaking. I submitted a formal complaint through the Concentra website on 01/14/2026. I haven't heard back from them about how I got mobbed by a bunch of Hispanics/Latinos... at a Border Patrol Agent medical appointment.
