Went with another bid and then this guy went off on me saying it cost him $30 to message with me, challenges my manhood for needing to hire someone and continued berating me until I had to block him and report. I hired them to install a wall mount for my 55" flat screen TV. The gentleman was meticulous in his work, taking great care to make sure that the mount was level. He also mounted the sound bar below the TV and got the whole job done in less than an hour for less than half the lowest price quoted by Angi.com for one of their contractors. Used Billy for a ceiling fan install. Quoted me $60 flat rate and ended up charging me $274. He had to come to the job site 3 times to finally finish the work. First time he said he forgot to pick up the ceiling fan from Home Depot and he had to go to another appointment so he rescheduled. Second time he said he couldn't finish the work and had to come back the next day. He finally came back the third time and finished the work. I did however ask him to make sure the bracing for the ceiling fan is done properly so he did have to replace the bracing which is probably a $10 part with probably another hour of labor. How the heck do you go from $60 to $274 though. Although I paid the guy I'm never gonna use him again. He definitely did not give me a new price for me to approve and just billed me for the installation. Haven't seen the installation myself but he did send a few photos which looks good externally so hopefully all the wiring is done properly and it's also braced properly. read more

I hired this company because they responded quickly and work Saturdays. That i give them 5 stars. But when it comes to the details of work; that would be a 2 stars and owner communication and overall client satisfaction, 2 stars; so hence, 3 stars total. First, in my quote request, I asked for someone to come clean a cockroach infested apartment unit mainly focusing on the walls and baseboards, as there are no appliances or floors to be cleaned. Just Walls!! ; so my painters can come and prep/paint. I get a quick response by the owner that one cleaner is $90 and then I have to go online to book the appointment which I did. Anything after two hours is another $40 hourly basis because it is "deep cleaning". The ONE lady showed up and took her 7 hours to clean on a Saturday. My painter then shows up the following Monday and notices that the walls were indeed NOT cleaned to the level of them being able to prime/ prep so he went ahead and started cleaning the walls with a wet towel again; which the stains actually came off easily. I reached out to the owner with a video and his response was : 1. "it was too much work for one cleaner, you should have asked for two". 2. "if it truly was simply so easily to remove a minor light stain on the way, why couldn't you just do it yourself" 3. "maybe she didn't notice as well or didn't have the proper chemical to remove it" were some of his exact quotes. He did not say sorry, or took any responsibility whatsoever and frankly, blamed me for not ordering two cleaners. My questions are: it was my first time using you, so in the housecleaning business, wouldn't you suggest two cleaners to begin with knowing there were pest infestation that took place? Fact is, you didn't in your yelp reply. Is it my fault your cleaners don't have the right cleaners? Also, the house was empty, so how do you not "notice" dirty spots? and what is considered a deep vs light (half ass) cleaning? Finally, sure, I could have done it myself, but I HIRED your company and you took the JOB. I paid $310! You could have rejected the job too ! By the way, the lady showed up, had no idea how long she was suppose to stay and kept mumbling "I wasn't aware of what I was suppose to do" and my property manager had to show her what to do; so obviously, there is no communication between the owner and the workers. But whatever, all i expected was some recognition that the job was subpar and I hope this review helps the next customer make a better informed decision on what to ask for when you book with them. Not here to ruin his business, just wish he was a bit more responsive and understanding....or a little apology for a mediocre job. read more

He was not professional and he was not responsive. I had read such wonderful reviews and so I decided to reach out to him. There Aren't too many handymen that will respond that quickly and give you a fair price on a small Job. When they do, they double the price and he did not. He responded quickly with a fair estimate. Unfortunately He turned out to be a very unorganized individua who took out his anger and previous problems from a previous job according to him on me. He became upset when I asked him if he was still coming on the set date and time It sounds like this young man overbooks and becomes overwhelmed and in turn took it out on me.
