We went to Fat Bastard Burrito in Liberty Village for a late lunch today. Gord got their feature ... a big chicken bacon burrito and he said it was good. I hadn't had breakfast and was starving so ordered a huge chicken burrito, figuring I would take what I couldn't eat home. Well, I ate the whole thing ... and it was delicious!

Wanted to grab a quick bite. We went in and we got the three chicken tacos. The chicken was dry but the sauce thAt was on the tacos was pretty good. It was a good taco but not a great taco or the best taco. I probably wouldn't stop back there again but if u want a quick bite and it have to wait then stop in there grab a taco or burrito but if you are looking for an amazingly delicious mouth watering taco or burrito then you might be slightly disappointed unless your starving.. then at that point anything would taste amazing !

I'd just been to the Yonge and Eglinton location a few weeks earlier, so I figured I'd get something I hadn't tried before: the Go Burger ("Quarter pound beef patty, Go sauce, crispy cheddar cheese, shredded lettuce, onions and pickles.") It's magnificent. It's legitimately one of the best burgers in the city. Everything works so well together, from that delectable crispy cheese to the addictive Go sauce to the pillowy soft bun. I really enjoyed the heck out of this burger, in case I haven't made it clear enough. So friggin' good!

It was great to hear a new burger place was coming to Liberty Village, and their burgers are great. The fried chicken sandwich, when its served properly (ala my first taste) is kilometers above the one from Popeyes or Chick-Fil-A. In size, the girth and quality of the chicken is top notch. Their lemon meringue pie as well- delicious. The problems came though when I raved about this place to my friends visiting from out of town. We ordered both the beef and chicken burgers. The beef burgers are supposed to come with a cheese crisp, however this time the cheese crisp was well over burnt, it was black in some areas. The fried chicken sandwich as well - our pieces were composed of a majority of batter, and some fat was on the chicken breast as opposed to our first try which was all pure meat. Because of this, the ranking is 4/5 due to a lack of consistency.

Both crispy and crunchy while still being moist, and unlike most places that simply add two pickles inside, they add full toppings; lettuce, tomatoe, multiple sauces, even onion and carrot/cabbage slaw! If fried chicken sandwiches aren't your thing, they have fries, wings, mac and cheese and mac-n-cheese bites - basically deep fried mac and cheese balls. They take the classic Fried Chicken Sandwich and put their twist on classics such as their OG with coleslaw and range of spice or even their Sweet and Sour Sandwich! The Chicken is always fresh out of the fryer and maintains its crunch with all the sauces and condiments between the brioche bun! The side dishes are also an homage to the South with their take on Mac and Cheese and even curly fries! The Mac and Cheese has a nice bechemel with garlic to add delicate sweetness with the al dente pasta. The curly fries are quite addicting especially with their spice blend on top ! Overall, Ghost Chicken is a great spot if you're ever in the mood for a great meal!
