I have eaten at Fat Boys a number of times since my former office building was conveniently located nearby. It is tucked back in an office park, but can be seen from the road. The place is nicely decorated and the layout is fairly decent. The owner is an ok guy who always treated me well. I like that they have catered to local healthcare workers around Thanksgiving time when they could simply shut down and go home. Food is okay. Some better than others. I tried a few sandwiches, such as the Corned Beef Reuben, Cheese steak, and cheese burger. The burgers were ok, but nothing special and the cheese steak was a bit over cooked. Our office of 100 just moved to the area and found this place doing a search. Has above average review so we went. I had the grilled buffalo chicken wrap and my co-worker the shrimp salad. Both were tasty, but the "large portion" of grilled chicken was not the case. I had more lettuce than chicken, unfortunately. My co-worker mentioned that he also had a large amount of lettuce in his shrimp salad wrap. We all know when we get a wrap if all you taste is the lettuce you may as well get a salad. With a little more meat and less lettuce, I think the wrap would be very good. Service was excellent, the lady behind the counter was very helpful and even gave me a free drink. I will give it another shot, just hope the descriptions in the menu reflect in my wrap/sandwich. read more

This place is amazing! The food is always on point, an the owner is usually the one to answer the phone. He's an extremely friendly person who's is very upfront with you, an always has a smile on his face. Place has a great selection of sodas, juices, energy drinks, coffee an tea, also some deserts too. He does breakfast lunch an dinner! I highly recommend checking out this place atleast once. You will not be disappointed! Remember this is a small business an he doesn't have many employees, so he may not be able to deliver to where you are located so I recommend the drive if he can't bring it to you!! read more

food is subpar at worst but the most alarming thing i noticed is that the red dye on the paper they use for packaging will bleed onto moist foods and i'm not sure if it's toxic so eat at ur own risk. read more

Where the food is good the service sucks. I have ordered lunch from this place multiple times and if you ask for anything different the response is "no we don't have it what do you want, I got a line full of people". I attempted to order again and was met with the same poor attitudes and told by the manager because they had to remake my sandwich "he suffered a loss". Wow! The food at Fat Boys Cafe is great, never had a complaint about the quality or portion size. But with a couple exceptions the price is just a bit high which makes me come less than I'd love to. HOWEVER come during the holidays when they have their Thanksgiving or Christmas "dinner" plate. It's one of the best values around and absolutely delicious. Anywho...ordered crab cake egg rolls. It's a new item. Plenty of crab cake inside the roll. That about it. Tasted like a crab cake. Possible homemade crab cake. It's not bad. Quiet little cafe/sandwich shop tucked away in an awkward corner of a business plaza. Serves Baltimore Coffee and Tea. Order at the counter then have a seat. Variety of subs, wraps, and salads on lunch menu. 8" sub combo (with fresh cut fries and a fountain drink) sets you back about $10. Worth it. If you like your fries a bit crispier just let 'em know. Perfect boardwalk style fries. Ordered chicken cheesesteak with buffalo sauce. Very tasty. Buffalo sauce could use a bit more heat, but it had good flavor. This place is horrible for customer service and business common sense . After three deliveries in one day our company was told to stop its to far of a distance . It's only three miles away . After the third order the very obese delivery woman slammed the food on the counter and was clearly upset that she had to do her job . Maybe all the walking she was worried about burning a few calories who knows . I never heard of a business getting upset serving the public it's just crazy !!!!!! read more

This place has pretty decent food. However, there are MANY shortcomings. I'll list a few: -Price!!! - Aside from a breakfast sandwich, it's hard to get something to eat here for under $10 -Staff - The owner is usually nice. Complains a lot about people using debit cards, and other things that are unprofessional. There is also a young lady who usually rings people up. She rarely smiles, always in a "mood", and does not have a very nice demeanor. -Quality of grab & go items - Sliced apples labeled as fruit salad? $2.99 (LITERALLY apple slices) Chesapeake Tuna scoop on lettuce? $6.99. Lot of this stuff is overpriced. Here are some of my FAVORITE things about FatBoys Cafe -Size of Drink Cups (a medium cup is HUGE) -GREAT breakfast menu. Lots of original sandwiches. I HIGHLY recommend the Baconater. -Cool Kitchen Staff- The guys in the back that cook the food are great. Sociable, cool, funny. -Convenient. If you work in that business park, it's the closest place to grab food. Again, it's a decent place to get grub. Just wish it was less pricey and some of the staff had better attitudes. read more

Went here randomly for lunch with a coworker friend. Food is good, portion sizes and meat portions are excellent. The place is clean, serves quality Baltimore Coffee & Tea, coffee, the service is fast and friendly, and the portions are good. I'd definitely come back here for lunch. I eat here almost every day! The food is very good! They have a variety of subs and a daily special. They are only open until about 4 pm so you have to get there early to get what you want to eat. The customer service is t the greatest and some of the younger girls that work there appear a little annoyed to be at work but the owner makes the difference! read more

When one says the word "pizza" a certain universal image comes to mind. Dough, sauce, cheese, and perhaps some meats or vegetables layered and baked. When one says the phrase "pizza logs" the image can become muddied but still probably evokes those three to four key ingredients, probably rolled up rather than layered, and still, baked. I say probably, but clearly this isn't the case for everyone. When the culinary mavericks that run Fat Boys Cafe dreamed up this small plate they clearly had no preconceptions in mind. What I received from them after placing this order was an elongated Styrofoam clam-shell box, lined with a black checkered sheet of wax paper, filled with 4 "pizza logs" which were taquito sized, egg rolls. Deep fried, not baked. A curious choice for a pizza dough analog. Even more curious was the filling. Provolone cheese, in place of the more common mozzarella. Sauteed green peppers and onions, not uncommon on pizza, but perhaps not the first topping that would come to mind. And thinly sliced shredded steak. Again, not unheard of for a pizza topping, but certainly not on par with, say, pepperoni, or even sausage. And the sauce? It came in the form of a small cup of ice-cold, refrigerated marinara sauce for dipping seated atop half an ounce of shredded iceberg lettuce for garnish. Truly thinking out-of-the-box, the chefs at Fat Boys Cafe, took any preconceived notions of what a "pizza log" or for that matter what "pizza" is, threw them right out the window, and made a $5.99 (plus tax) masterpiece. read more
