Favorite bbq ever--best brisket I've had anywhere!! Delicious pulled pork...The fully dressed pulled pork sammie features a generous portion of well seasoned, smoked pork topped with their Granny Smith spike slaw, dry rub, cheese sauce and bacon!! So good. Meats can be purchased by the pound or as a platter. Delicious corn bread. The slaw is so good! Only complaint is that the pasta in the mac and cheese is usually under cooked. This place is a must, but not much time to eat in...it's primarily take out.

Brisket and Peach Sauce Pulled Pork sandwich

Some of the best beef brisket I have ever had, my wife's pulled pork sandwich was also excellent, pork was tender and not stringy like most both having great flavor. Cornbread moist not dry and crumbly another plus

Absolutely delicious! I love brisket and this place has some of the best I have had! Tender, with just the right amount of rub. My sauce was on the side so I could try a couple different flavors. The spicy sauce was outstanding with a small amount of heat. The mustard sauce was equally good if you enjoy the southern type of sauce and I do! The Mac and cheese was surprisingly yummy and I am quite fussy about that side. The mashed sweet potatoes were equally delicious! The staff was friendly and extremely helpful and overall this was a great place that I will definitely frequent!

Felt like having bbq on my birthday while out leaf sighting and found this place. Enjoyed lunch. Good sauces. I had ribs, apple coleslaw, with brisket chili. Hubby had ribs, egg salad and creamy mac and cheese. Both came with cornbread. We would go back.

We aren't from the area and were very happy we rolled the dice on this spot for lunch! Everything is homemade and on point. The service was friendly and fast. The atmosphere is cute and clean. Absolutely recommend and will be back again!

    Burnt ends.

It's a hit or miss with this place. Being that it's basically the only barbecue place in the entire area, i get burnt ends sometimes. I think I'm going to start doing my own barbecue because the burnt ends I order regularly aren't always tender. Actually sometimes they are very tough. Like today I ordered 2 burnt ends dinners with Mac N cheese and Brussel sprout chili. Well they gave me 2 orders of beans instead of the chili. The beans have pork in it and the Brussel sprout chili doesn't. I DONT EAT PORK, at all. So they got the order wrong. Fortunately they said they'd reimburse me for the 2 beans they gave me. I'm so disappointed because this place isn't cheap at all and to get tough meat and the order wrong, I'm very upset. I don't think I'll be coming back anymore. $45 on 2 dinners that weren't good and wrong order is a lot. I guess I'll give the tough meat to my dogs because can't and won't eat tough meat. Money wasted.

Pulled pork on rice with sweet peppers, green onions, and pineapple teriyaki sauce.

Nondescript building with good barbecue. Some unusual sauce choices as options and daily specials. Burnt ends were recommended and tasty. Moist cornbread (very important!) and apple cole slaw was fresh and crunchy. Kid had the special, pulled pork on rice with sweet peppers and pineapple teriyaki sauce. Ate every bite.

Best BBQ in town! I crave their cornbread. Just the right amount of bbq sauce on every bite.

Since we've been out all day we were really hungry so we decided to eat something before we performed. At the moment there couldn't have been more than eight people in the whole place inside and out on the deck total. We were handed menus that had no prices on them. I ordered the buddah bowl with chicken strips and my husband got a quesadilla with steak. It took about 40 minutes for the food to come and the boot bowl was mostly a big bowl of greens with what couldn't have been more than a tablespoon of chicken chopped up on it. It was very tasty. My husband's quesadilla was the size you would expect loaded with cheese but literally one little tiny cube of steak in each of the six wedges. His quesadilla was tasty We only ordered water to drink because we were going to be singing later and it took about 15 minutes for the water to get to us. She "forgot". The whole time we were there nobody checked on us and place never got very busy no more than maybe eight people the whole time. We decided not to stay to sing because there was practically nobody there and the people who were there were outside on the deck while the place for the performers was inside in the bar. And as far as we knew we were the only people there who were planning to perform. The Buddha bowl which would've made a nice side salad to any other meal was $14, while the quesadilla was $13. In my opinion overpriced for what we got. We also bussed our own table.

It was a truly lovely way to spend a lazy Saturday afternoon! Can't wait to go back.

The food took a while but there were a few large tables and probably that slowed them down. I don't mind waiting for good food. However, my salad I ordered was not good. Iceberg, a couple brown apples, feta, cranberries and walnuts. It sounded good on the menu but would not order a salad here again. My French onion soup was ok. My brother ordered a reuben. He said the bread was a little too crunchy. He ended up adding mustard because he said it needed something. There were hand cut fries and fresh potato chips which were good. I think I would stick to a burger and fries at this place. Don't expect anything fancy, but prices are fair, and I imagine a beer and burger while watching a concert is the way to go.

They have outdoor seating upstairs but we opted to be seated inside as we were tired after our journey. The entire place is musically decorated with guitars and trinkets of musicians on the walls, it was pretty cool to look at. I got the soup and half chicken combo, it was around $10 so it's a great deal. The broccoli cheddar soup did not taste like the usual soup we get anywhere else. The sandwich was alright but it just seemed like a piece of chicken was slapped onto a bread with some cheese. No representation, no veggies, nothing. My boyfriend got the burger and enjoyed it. He loved the sauce that came with the bang bang shrimp we had ordered as our appetizer. All in all, it's a pretty good place to get some food in the countryside. Definitely make the trip. The servers were all so nice and friendly. I'd definitely be back again.
