Two large, basic pizzas and one small cheese pizza was $79. I ordered online and included a tip in my payment. I received text confirmations of my order and was told that the order would be ready about 35 minutes later. We arrived right around that 35 minute timeframe and they had no idea what order we were talking about. After double checking we had the correct location, etc., they realized that oopsie they had received our order when I sent it in. So 25-30 minutes after our original pickup time we had our pizza. It was terrible. It had no flavor and all any of us could taste was the black burn residue on the bottom of the crust. So, I paid over $80 for trash. read more

It's pizza on the Gulf Coast. Taper your expectations. But, we've picked up from multiple locations in their area over the last few years and it's consistently what it is. So we've eaten at pizza by the sea several times, at different locations. Most have excellent service and good pizza. This one is terrible. Two separate occasions they have had subpar service. The first was a dine in experience that we had to wait an hour and half for a pizza, dine in. They apologized at the time- stated they were understaffed. The second was recently. We came in at 830 for dine in and take out and waited in line for ten minutes with a free other patrons when the manager announces that they aren't taking any more orders- after waiting in line for ten mins. If you are going to close 30 mins early turn off the sign and put it online no more orders. It's sad because the franchise does make good pizza. We just left and went to grimaldi's- which was great. I would like to add that we have eaten at the one in watercolor and it's amazing. They really do make great pizza if you can get it. Needs new management. read more

I usually prefer a thicker crust pizza so when I saw my pizza (meatballs and goat cheese) was a thinner crust, my expectations were on the low end. I left to get ice cream from Ben & Jerry's while waiting for Pizza to finish. The hostess found me & handed me my pizza in the line of another store.... cool!!! Pizza was really good, not fabulous. VERY crunchy in a burned (melted cheddar cheese) way, ya know like when cheese drips on the hot pan. A little too cooked for me, but would definitely go again if in Destin, FL. This place is in a normal strip mall, so easy parking. It is cute inside & friendly folks. No masks or gloves worn, so be aware when coming in. It is very expensive and busy! Every 2-3 minutes they have made a new pizza. There is a steady stream of new people ordering and calling in as well. However, there are only 2 people working the front. Since the people at the front were being overworked it wasn't until 13 minutes after we got our pizza that we got our salad. Overall, they have good food (their cauliflower option was a tad bit burnt but still good). The workers here are just trying to keep up with the demand! However, they have high prices. We got 2 medium pizzas for $56?!!! They are also the smallest things I've ever seen, the slices are literally MINI. Went to the Sandestin location today 12/8. Used to frequent there often. Since they recently changed owners I'm really shocked. Very solid place for a good solid thin crust "bar pie" type pizza. Crispy crust and not overloaded with a heavy pasty sauce and although a bit greasy an excellent tasting cheese blend is used. Prices are pretty high however, which is why I didn't make this a five star review. 17 bucks at a base price 12" cheese pizza is steep. Going up to a 16 inch pie for 2 bucks more is a no brainer for 2-3 people. Still recommend however. read more
