It was absolutely worth the wait and it won't be that long until I try it again. They've been through a lot this year with someone crashing into their brick and mortar location, that didn't stop them from wanting to serve up New Mexico's best green chile cheeseburgers. Even in a food truck on 100° day the staff was very helpful and extremely friendly. They answered any questions I had and were patient with me. I placed my order and even got to go back to my car to wait as he said he would bring it to me. How amazing that even with the food truck I get to relax in my air conditioning while he worked hard for me. My husband got a green chili cheeseburger meal and I got green chile cheese fries (with extra green chile). I've been searching for the best green chile since moving here a year ago and today I found it. I wouldn't consider it to be a hot chile (MAYBE medium) but the flavor was incredible. They had it prepared properly with all the right seasoning. I'm already dreaming and craving my next green chile fix from Isleta Grill. The burger may not look like much in the picture, but my husband loved every bite. There was nothing left to be seen other than the packaging after we demolished an amazing meal. The building looked run down, the outside door had weeds growing through the cracks, and stepping inside the tables are old and so are the chairs. Shoot it was like stepping into a place like in old Mexico, BUT the old tables were clean, old chairs were clean, and the waitress was nice. I ordered the menudo and yes the menudo was yummy. Cooked just right and the soup spice was just right. This place was a don't judge a book by its cover place. Sit down at an old clean table, order your food, and enjoy the good food when it arrives.
