The visuals were beautiful with themed music and the occasional smells that fit well with the exhibits. We were really impressed by how long it was. It was about a one mile walk on a dirt trail, and it took us over an hour to go through at a leisurely pace and take some pictures. Our shoes got extremely dusty, so make sure to wear shoes that you can wipe off afterwards. We were thrilled to see seesaws at one point on the trail. There were so many kids here, but I think it's enjoyable for all ages. I would even take my parents here. They advertise weekday night tickets on their website as $22, but after all the fees, it was $28.24 per ticket for a Tuesday night. It was surprisingly worth it though. I just wish they were more transparent in their fees. I am really glad we didn't come on a weekend because it would have been even more crowded. Parking was an additional $10 in a dirt lot. There were some vendors with extremely overpriced food. My friend got a cute ghost T-shirt from their official merch store for $25, which was surprisingly reasonable.

The music, lights and smoke gave it all a fun, spooky vibe. Our favorites were the Ocean theme, the neon lights made it feel surreal! The fire show at the end of the walk was a cool highlight too. We accidentally booked the wrong date while clicking through the links on the phone and had to pay an additional $5 per ticket to change it through the online account later. That was a bummer since it was an honest mistake but the customer service is pretty much non-existent and send canned responses to emails. Parking is an additional $10 at the venue.

One minute you're walking inside the pyramid, the next you're literally soaring over everything, and it feels way more real than it should. You're not sitting. You're walking around a big open space, physically moving while your brain thinks you're inside ancient Egypt. It's a great family or date night activity . Making the chairs produce some annoying, distant sound doesn't stop "squatters" because they don't know that they're the reason for the incessant beeping! The shrill beeps seem like they're coming from somewhere far away, so when I sat in one of the chairs, another customer (NOT even an employee) was forced to graciously inform me that, to make the beeping stop, I had to pay for a massage, or move away. I was mortified, as well as infuriated that Urban Air didn't bother to post signs with this basic information. From then on, for at least 50% of every trip to Urban Air, I've heard the stupid, continuous beeping. Each time I look over to find the culprit, I see the noise pollution is caused by oblivious parents scrolling away on their phones, as they luxuriate in the comfort of these ill-designed chairs. The chairs keep screeching their obnoxious and passive-aggressive rejection of "free rides" for patrons, meanwhile failing to inform them of desired course of action. God, it makes this place a living h*ll... 2) PROVIDE MORE OUTLETS for working and non-working parents alike, who need to charge devices. The location that my children force me to frequent provides ONE outlet, under a booth table. If you don't snag the booth, forget your charging needs! Listen: No one wants to sit for 2-3 hours with a dying device, unable to their check email. If you don't bring a fully charged device, you can expect it to die sometime during the visit. There should be outlets next to each seating area along the walls. The answer is insanely simple -- if you want parents who are willing to bring their kids to Urban Air, make the parents happy.

Greeted with excitement, owner Rochelle of Board & Brush had me check in on her iPad. Showed me to my seat where we chatted for a bit. I saw my project in its raw form. I'm so excited to tackle this project. This is actually my second time coming so I know a little of what is expected. Rochelle does an amazing job taking you step by step and helping you. Even if you're not a crafter, never even handled a paint brush, Rochelle, and her staff are very patient, and very helpful. You start off with a raw board of pine. You're given a couple minutes to release your stress on the board. Hammering marks using chicken wire, a hammer, a mallet, and a large screw. You'll sand it lightly, and then stain it. Then it's time to stencil. Using a semi dry brush, you'll dab your brush on the stencil. Give it a minute under the fan to dry and peal the stencil off. And you're pretty much done. You get an official Bb logo sticker to complete your project. I recommend signing and dating your project on the back. Viola you're an artist! The Fancy Marshmallow Co. owner, Tina, she is such a sweetheart. She set up her beautiful marshcuterie spread. All made from scratch. Soft, fluffy, and flavorful treats. She has the cutest treats. All kinds of shapes and sizes. My favorite is the strawberry champagne. Trust me, they are amazing. Tina also brought in her hot cocoa mix ingredients and we all got to make our own bag of hot cocoa mix to take home. And we got to pick our goodies from the marshcuterie and box them up in the cutest boxes with heart printed tissue paper. Such a sweet touch to a fun class. I highly recommend coming to Board & Brush. Such a fun girls night out. They are BYOB, so it's a great group celebration. The Fancy Marshmallow, such a cute boutique, I've been several times. The Metaverse Team is outstanding! What we liked the most was they do everything. They arrived on…read moretime to set up, we discussed the preferred location and viola! Truck was in position. Metaverse sets up taking the sun shine direction into consideration too. They have the chairs. They have great awnings. The gaming screens on the truck have shadow boxes. They have a huge fan too for a breeze! Inside the truck is the VR stations and a new super cool driving VR option. Ok - so they take care of everything to get set up. Then - they take care of the kiddos (and novice adults too) ensuring that everyone picks games the like, and have instructions on how to play (if needed). Stacey watched the outside gamers, Travis stayed inside with the VR players. The biggest and the toughest critics were the kiddos- and they all had a great time playing with the Metaverse games. Our crew was primarily 7 - 9 year olds. But even the old folk parents enjoyed everything. In summary - we are so glad we used Metaverse at our kiddo's party. This is not your traditional haunted house, they will touch you and cover you in fake blood. It's a bit far out of the way, so be sure to eat before you go. Also, I would recommend wearing clothes that are comfortable and won't be ruined by fake blood. We didn't plan ahead and forgot our towels, which was a big mistake due to the downpour as we were leaving.

Everyone working is a volunteer, so shout out to them for devoting their time and energy to a good cause. (We came in painter suits which helped to an extent but maybe a pancho of some sort would be a better choice! ) The show/ haunted house has a different theme each year , this year they did a Celtic festival , scavenger hunt and stories out of a few books which was a great concept, had you read the books. Nobody in my group had read any book except for Alice in wonderland so we were a bit confused through out the whole thing. Also I didn't find it to scary overall since I was just confused the whole time lol. If your a reader& had read these books, I bet this is 10/10 a great experience. At the start of the haunted house there is a paper and pencil to write down the things you're looking for in the scavenger hunt but the platform in that area wasn't smooth which made writing difficult. Also the pencil was a bit hard to see, not a big deal - just a note for the team. I will return next year as I've heard great things about the past shows. Each story is different (and even the same story has multiple endings). All are fantastic. The characters are so much fun (you can choose to be a suspect, a witness, or just be part of the audience). You can dress on theme or not. It's always well written. Sean makes it hysterical. You can see it at Old Glory Ranch or hire for your personal event for a really great price. I love it so much, I'm hosting a Halloween party for my friends and hiring MFH for it. It's a rare Austin gem.

Have had this on my list for a while. Ended up finding it via the Fever app. Easy enough to buy…read moretickets online and then scan upon arrival. The location is definitely a bit out there and seems to be grouped with a few other different activities in the building area. After scanning the tickets, you head around to get the headphones with the audio device as you walk through the different rooms you're able to listen to the story being told about what's in each room. There were a couple of rooms that had the audio which automatically sync when you got close to the screen so it was nice to not have to wait until it started all the way over for you to catch up with what the movie was saying. I believe it probably took us about 45 minutes or so to walk through it. Unfortunately was a little bit disappointed because I thought there would be more interactive experiences. There was only one section where you got to walk through an example of what one of the main halls would look like on the first class cabin level. Other than that all of the items were behind a stanchion or plexi glass. We weren't able to really be immersed in the experience. It was really nice to see the different levels of service in the different cabins, and to hear about some of the people that survived, as well as just the whole or deal and seeing the visuals for the number of life boats, that were half empty upon being rescued. I'm just as fascinated as the next for what this experience must have been like.
