The shop is very clean, and it offers all the current colors, treatments, and services. Sometimes I have a specific idea of what I would like for either my nail color or the design. Other times I have no idea what I would like to do. Sue continues to know just what I want when I don't! I can't believe that it has been over eleven years now that I have been a customer at Green Lovers Nail Boutique. Over the years, I have also come to know several other customers, and it is such a nice feeling to see old friends and meet new ones. After my original review, the owner personally called me to apologize and assured me they wanted to make things right. I genuinely appreciated that conversation. Unfortunately, within days of my appointment, my gel manicure had already begun chipping, and my natural nails had been filed so thin that they were breaking. I sent photos, and the owner invited me back in. Before I could return, my family experienced an unexpected loss, so my plans changed. Once I was back in town, I reached out to let the owner know I was available to come in, but I never received a response. At that point, I honestly assumed the offer to make things right had simply fallen through. I ended up booking an appointment with Sonia, and I am so glad I did. Sonia completely changed my experience. She listened to everything that had happened, apologized even though none of it was her fault, and took incredible care with my nails. She explained how she wanted to help my natural nails recover, paid attention to every detail, and made me feel like a valued customer again. What impressed me most was that Sonia even offered me a discount out of her own pocket because she said she represented the salon and wanted me to leave with a better experience. She absolutely did. Customer service isn't just about fixing mistakes--it's about making people feel cared for. While I was disappointed that I never heard back after reaching out to the owner, Sonia stepped in without hesitation and accomplished exactly what the salon had originally promised. The nail tech was unable to paint the heart from the reference and ended up putting a heart sticker on my nail instead. I was originally told the design would be an additional $20, which I questioned considering two of the accent nails were just a simple chevron cutout and the other two used stickers. I was ultimately still charged $10 extra for the design. Now, exactly one week later, one of the nails has snapped completely across. I only come to this area on the weekends and live about an hour and a half away, so I now have to go through my entire work week with a broken nail before I can even get it fixed. I really wanted to like this set because I loved the inspiration photo, but between the thin acrylic, the execution of the design, the additional design charge, and having a nail break after only one week, I'm disappointed with the overall quality of the service.

Another technician who was working on someone else's nails was talking on her phone the whole time which I found to be unprofessional. My mani pedi was basic and with regular polish was $55 which was kinda pricey. I paid with Zelle to avoid the 4% fee they charge if you use a credit card.
