This shop is QUALITY. They are truly experts in the nail game. Ana is fantastic - thorough, consistent and kind. There is a woman who does my pedi who always dresses impeccably. More importantly, her work is also consistently excellent. She explained to me why I should go to an appt only shop versus walk-in. She was right, and now I can't go back to my old shop, even though it was more convenient for my busy schedule. Listen to their expert advice. You won't regret it. If you want quality work, this is your spot. Mad respect. Thank you.

Ricky has been doing my nails for many years now, even before he opened his own shop. Service and staff - I get hard gel (bio gel) manicure done by either Ricky, Michael, Crystal or Maddie. You can't go wrong with any of them. I usually request for Ricky if I have a complicated design I want done. All of them are very thorough. They are very professional and friendly. Price - I always say you get what you pay for but I want to emphasize that for the quality of work they do here, they are very fairly priced. This is coming from someone who have been to several highly rated nail salons in the Valley (before I found Ricky). Appointments - This is a must. They will do same day appointments and walk ins if they can but they are usually booked. Cleanliness - No question here. The shop and all their equipment are very clean. Have always been. Parking - This can be tricky at times (very seldom though) as they are in a smaller plaza along Ventura Blvd. Please check them out if you're looking for a good quality and affordable nail salon. I highly recommend them!

I wanted to come here and share my most recent experience, I want it to be known that I did come here one other time before this and it was a great experience my first time there and they did a great job, it was a woman nail tech who did my nails the first time, the second time that I came I couldn't even complete my service. I set an appointment for 1 PM, and I arrived at 12:59 PM, they had me sit down and wait because they were not ready to see me, which is fine. I sat down and I waited. I noticed that two other ladies with a different ethnicity came in as a walk-in after me and they were seen right away. After I finally spoke up, they finally sat me down with the male nail tech. As he was doing my nails, I noticed some mistakes that I didn't really like particularly for my nails, and I decided to let him know and ask if there was anyway where he could fix it. He immediately responded back with an attitude as if I had offended him and said that he would not be able to fix it. He's only doing a fill. That's all and he is not required to fix other people's work. I let him know that this is not other people's work that this is work that this salon has done and he still brushed it off and continued not to help fix the mistakes he was making. At that point I told him if I don't like the job that he does that I'm not paying the full amount for something that I don't like. at that point he immediately stopped and said well we can just stop right now. I said OK that is fine. Can I speak to your manager or someone else so someone else can finish my nails for me he said no and continue to walk away from me and ignore me after I spoke to someone else asking if someone else can fix my nails she proceeded to tell me no one will be able to fix my nails at that point I got up and I left. I will not be returning here. I think this establishment is very unprofessional. I do feel they are racist and I don't feel like they respect their customers time or their customers in general I will never return here again

Just went here for a gel pedicure. Staff was very nice. The Polish looks good but I had to knock off three stars because the nail tech made my foot bleed when removing a callous. Ouch :(

I've been coming here for about 3 years now and would never go anywhere else, I've had my nails done by most of the staff and they are always incredible no matter who it is. Billy does my nails pretty regularly now (I change my nails every two weeks because I'm crazy) and he puts up with all my crazy requests and always pulls them off seamlessly and even better than imagined! I really love them here! Everyone is so kind and helpful and always does an incredible job. I've done pedicures as well and they are always perfect, I get the callus remover and laugh with the ladies at how much skin is coming off (it's gross) but I love that it's working! The energy is great in the studio and always positive, I couldn't possibly recommend them more!!! 10/10 always!!!

Recently moved into the area and took months to find a solid nail spot. Finally a shop that knows what they're doing! Clean, good choice of colors, and several techs (not just one!) that do amazing nail art. Just bring a pic and consider it done. Super reasonably priced for the quality. Friendly, courteous, and fast! Maddie did my acrylic over my real nails and my son had bio gel and nail art by Michael. And 2 pedis. Our new go-to! Extra bonus being next to Boba Café . I do have a suggestion to the owners: put in air filtration so the fumes aren't so strong. It's a small but cute space and an air filter would do wonders. Thanks guys!

I have been having my nails done for as long as I can remember and honestly Crystal Nails is the best place I have ever gone. I absolute love Maddie!!! Ana is so sweet! Ricky is awesome! If i could give 20 stars i would. I have been going to crystal nails since 2023, it was a random find one day after work. What a blessing it was to find maddie. She is absolutely amazing at what she does. I love my hard gel nails, they last 4+ weeks. I always get compliments. And just love going to see her every 4 weeks. She doesnt even need to ask me anymore what i want, she knows. The salon is very clean. All techs are super nice! The prices are great! I drive from weho to west hills just for the experience. I wouldn't ever go anywhere else. So happy i found crystal nails, especially maddie! read more

I have been coming to Crystal Nails for over 3 years, and they consistently provide some of the most beautiful nails. The quality of their work is always amazing, and I'm never disappointed with the results. Dirty ! Filthy ! Dirty ! And I'm talking about the places sanitation and the employees attitude ! ! I went today for a color change appointment I made 2 weeks in advance . I have been going here for 4 years now with the same nail tech . I noticed recently The place has gone down hill and was super dirty . I just wanted a polish change because even reading other reviews it seems people are getting infections and it's not sanitary ! That's the last thing I need since infections can last months ! Well when I walked in they PRETENDED that my appointment was with another nail tech . I specifically go to the same person every single time . She then says I don't do color change .. first of all she has done them a million times secondly then why did you take an appointment? They tried to pass me on to someone who does polish like a 5 year old child .. I always hear customer's yelling at them , and I used to think the customers are difficult . It is for sure not the customers that are difficult ! I have an event I need to attend tomorrow , and they didn't care and made it like it's my problem ! I prob saved myself from a staph or fungal infection . Do yourself a favor and do not go here ! Now I know why there is always someone yelling at them ! Ps all the good reviews here are either done by the employees or for they are for previous owners ! Absolutely gross ! read more

I called for a last minute appointment, and they said they were fully booked. But, they called me back within about 10 min and said they had a cancellation, and asked if I still wanted to come in. I said yes! I got an acrylic full set by Jenny. She did an amazing job. She was friendly. She got the perfect length, shape, and design. The vibe is like any other nail salon, to be honest. It's not like a luxury salon or anything. But, the service was great. And I would definitely return! It was packed when I went in, and I can totally see why, and completely understand why they're always booked read more

Crystal is the BEST. A podiatrist told me to have a pedicure every month due to aging problems with my toes. I also have numbness and swelling of the feet and ankles. All this is new to me. I used to be a dancer. Crystal spent a lot of time massaging my feet and calves. I didn't tell her about my problems, it was just part of the pedicure. It was almost like a zen experience. And the numbness and swelling were GONE!! I couldn't believe it. And it stayed gone for about 3 weeks. She is charming, kind, and extremely talented at a very fair price. I've never had a pedicure like that, and I've had some great manicurists. Her massage was extremely therapeutic. read more

HERES AN UPDATE TO ALL. specifically the jewish community. Ricky does not like our community. He claims we're picky and rude and makes a broad statement about all of us. i've been going here for 5 years and never had any previous problems with ricky but this draws the line. i loved ricky's work and always scheduled my appointments way ahead of time to always get them done by him. Not only that but I have brought him a majority of his clientele and if it didn't come from me it came from someone that i had previously referred him to. if needed i will post proof as i do have that as well. for now you can do whatever you please with this information and i know a lot of people will listen and for the ones that don't, you will learn with time. read more

Came here on a Tuesday with an appointment! My mom got a normal manicure and pedicure. I got acrylic and a normal pedicure. Mike was absolutely amazing! I asked for blue nails and trusted him to come up with a design and it was great! Price for both of us was around 175$ , And thought it was a great price considering how much we did! Vibe was clean, and modern. Everything seemed up to date and not too old. read more

This is just a sad sad review... give one star over the childish behavior I had to experience. I will say this although Ricky is a great nail tech he's got a lot of growth to do when owning a business and the fundamentals of customer service. 1. He called me earlier this morning to push back my appointment I kindly accepted. 2: Before starting my nails I showed him a reference photo of what I wanted he automatically knew and voiced the color that I was wanting to confirm with me . (Nail techs have certain techniques to achieving a color so I minded my business up until he went in for a second coat and I stopped him immediately to question the process so that I do not get stuck with a color on my nails that I do not want. ) That's when his energy changed and rudely said I should have said something... but I did and let him know that he outspokenly mentioned to me the color I wanted. As if changing a solid color for a customer is such an issue he mumbled under his breath 'this is the last time I'll do this' meaning change a color. 3. When finished he got up fast ran to the back room and didn't come out. It was a coworker that provided the price for me. And no he didn't ran to the bathroom. Lovely and pathetic. Yet he pushed my scheduled appointment was about to give me the wrong nail color but yet somehow I deserved the attitude? Ladies note this; don't ask for a change of color cause it may feel like you may need to change someone's diaper. Peace . read more

This place scams people! They don't tell you what costs more and when i asked for gel only Bille the nail artist i had didn't tell me and put spray for ombre. The final price was 70$ for gel acrylic and charged me 25$ for ombre which is crazy and plus he didn't even clean my nails he didn't cut any of my cuticle!! will never come back!!! read more

I ADORE this shop! Not only is it super cute and clean but the immaculate work and attention to detail every employee here provides is beyond what anyone could ask for! They are truly incredible. The first thing I noticed was how friendly everyone was and how they were all smiling, They ask how you are and you can tell they want to be there, it's really refreshing. I have nothing but good things to say about the management here. I was recommended this place by a customer at my work place she recommended I go here. Making an appointment is super easy. I get my nails done by Michael he is amazing and my pedicure done with Ana. I love Ana and Michael. Everyone there is so friendly and helpful. Definitely happy that I gave them a try. I absolutely love my nails every time I go. Parking is always available and they are very good about keeping appointments. I recently went from acrylic to just getting Gel on my natural nails and Michael is able to do wonders! I haven't broken one nail since I started getting my nails done at Crystal. read more

If you're looking for a new salon to go to.. this is your sign. The new owner, Ricky has redone this entire salon and made it such a beautiful experience for his customers. He has the best team on deck, all of which are artistically blessed and kind. Everytime i leave the salon, i feel amazing because i always get EXACTLY what i want. Billy is absolutely horrible horrible horrible. I have come here for a year because of the impeccable work that crystal and Maddie do on my nails. Maddie being out of town I trusted Billh as she recommended. Billy was using the drill on my hands and it's was burning me so I let him know 3 different times before he turned down his drill. Billy tried to FILL my dip powder and anyone who has dip can tell you that's not how it works. Michael did my acrylic nails! He's amazing: 1. Not bothering you with meaningless conversation 2. Detailed af 3. So accurate in the way he puts the acrylic, files your nails, etc My nails came out AMAZINGLY good! I would go again for sure & oh the price here is way below what other people charge in the Valley. I love this place. everyone there is so kind and accommodating and both Ricky and Maddie are fabulous. Everyone there is great but I've gone to both of them personally and anything you can think of for a nail design or any sort of nail inspo show them they can create it. They have every kind of chrome color every kind of nail design. They do a fantastic job highly recommend. read more

I sent photos, and the owner invited me back in. Before I could return, my family experienced an unexpected loss, so my plans changed. Once I was back in town, I reached out to let the owner know I was available to come in, but I never received a response. At that point, I honestly assumed the offer to make things right had simply fallen through. I ended up booking an appointment with Sonia, and I am so glad I did. Sonia completely changed my experience. She listened to everything that had happened, apologized even though none of it was her fault, and took incredible care with my nails. She explained how she wanted to help my natural nails recover, paid attention to every detail, and made me feel like a valued customer again. What impressed me most was that Sonia even offered me a discount out of her own pocket because she said she represented the salon and wanted me to leave with a better experience. She absolutely did. Customer service isn't just about fixing mistakes--it's about making people feel cared for. What stood out to me the most was how careful and professional the technician was. She made sure to disinfect and sanitize her tools before using them, which gave me confidence that cleanliness is taken seriously here. My daughter's nails came out absolutely beautiful. She was so happy with the results, and they looked exactly the way she wanted. The technician paid attention to every detail and took her time to make sure everything looked perfect. The pricing was also very fair, especially for the quality of work and service we received. It's not always easy to find a place that is clean, professional, and reasonably priced, but this salon checked all the boxes. My nail person Billie vaped right before he took me and never washed his hands! The workes dont talk english and they are very rude and they charge you twice the amount of of regular places. They dont disclose the prices before they work on your nails. They blocked from my other yelp account so that i wouldn't write anymore but i'm using another email and they also called my number and harassed me because of on my honest previous review!!
