I'm always nervous to try out new nail salons, but I had a good experience at Creative Touch. The owner was very nice and communicative! My nail tech wasn't that interested in chatting, but to each their own. Prices were great too! I can't believe I've been spending an arm and a leg at my usual salon when I came here, got a great manicure and pedicure and spent significantly less. They are known for their "builder gel" which so far, has stayed in tip top shape on my nails. I also got chrome which was new for me and WOW I love it! I have seen some of the design work they do and I am looking forward to trying it out for myself one day! Give them a follow on instagram to check it out. I would definitely come back. I had a very disappointing experience at this nail salon when I visited with my 11-year-old daughter. The owner, who did my daughter's nails, was shockingly rude. When my daughter requested French tips, the owner scoffed and condescendingly told her, "You're doing regular polish," making her feel embarrassed. My daughter left the salon in tears because of her attitude. Additionally, I simply asked to sit next to my daughter while we both got our nails done--there was an empty chair, yet the owner harshly refused without any valid reason. First time I tried this place I was highly irritated and told myself I wouldn't be back. I made 3:00 appointments for me and my daughter ON HER BIRTHDAY. They didn't start on my daughter until close to 4 and they didn't start me until close to 5! I was hot. It was my daughter's birthday and we wasted a majority of the evening on a mani pedi. It was a school night so she still had homework as well. We couldn't go to dinner now so we ordered her favorite restaurant and ate at home. I think I was more upset than she was. They didn't start my nails until they were done with hers. I was upset but I can't deny my nails looked pretty good. I get dip powder on my natural nails. I didn't realize how good they were until... I was so upset about my first experience I refused to go back. So I call myself going back to a salon I stopped going to (and should have kept it that way) but was in the area so decided to give it another shot. Girl was cool nails looked good. I was happy. Tell me why 2 of my longer than they've ever been in their life nails broke! I was livid! Not just chipped either. I'm talking about broke down to wear it hurts. Not one nail broke when I went to Creative. That's when I realize I needed to go back and give them another chance. I'm glad I did. The last 20 minutes of my manicure was rushed (more than the beginning already was) because her appointment showed up and was waiting. She then blamed me for being a walk in and wanting something difficult....ok. Anyways. Here's my 6 day old manicure :) I repainted my entire room and bathroom with a set that lasted 3 weeks before I got these done. Got those done in Sherman oaks organics. They told me a different price over the phone when they're done it was $10 more all good I paid. seven days later six out of the 10 nails started to lift one was almost falling horrible job I called. They told me to come and fix it. She just pour lots of glue underneath and was clearly talking about me with the other girls while doing it. four days later one nail lift again! They rush you out and barely used any products (lotion and scrub) on my hands and feet. Not to mention, the salon isn't very clean. Towels look used and there's visible dust everywhere. I wish I got the woman's name who did my nails because she did a fantastic job! I absolutely love them, they're the perfect length, look natural, and she was super gentle with my cuticles which I appreciate.
