Just had an order of the paneer tikka masala again, which is my favorite go-to here. I tried cheese nan for the first time and it was delicious, as well as the kheer for the first time, which was so good I will definitely be getting it again. It tastes similar to marzipan and has cashews in it that have been softened either from being cooked with the rice pudding or possibly just from soaking. I wasn't expecting the kheer to be as tasty as it was, but it is definitely a new favorite South Asian dessert. read more

It had been a bit since I visited Fatima's. Not sure what happened but got a big surprise with the price increase. About a $4 increase on items. Then the portion sized changed as well. Really. You do one or the other but not both. I haven't seen prices in the whole foods distribution increase that much to warrant that size of price increase. And yes I do follow distribution pricing. Well I guess it was too good to last. Until I see a review that makes me believe they lowered the price or went back to old portion size I won't be back. I have dreams about the fried chicken I have had here. Last time I was here they discontinued this menu item. I was sad but ordered other food. It was just as good, seasoned and spicy. Their platter meals are so good, if you eat in the restaurant you can have all the delicious white sauce you want. Inside is just a bunch of folding tables and chairs but that's all that is needed with food so good. While we waited they gave my boys the remote for the TV to watch whatever, so very nice. read more

A relative hole-in-the-wall indian place, that offers budget eats that taste pretty good. Much less "Fusion", but a solid lunch spot. Looking for new places to try, we saw these guys being blasted out on doordash. So we decided to visit their location and do some trekking. The place itself is a little hidden. the building is non-descript for the area and there's not much signage to indicate this is a restaurant. When you go inside, there are a few seats but it's mostly an ordering counter and some spots to wait for to-go orders. Checking their menu online, they had a lot more indian-american fusion dishes. When we asked about them, the staff let us know that they scaled back their fusion dishes and decided to focus on each style independently. I can understand that, work in the lanes that work for the business. They still offered a few dishes, and they pointed out the chicken tikka mac and cheese as an option. So we got that, along with some standard indian dishes to experience the gambit. Veggie samosas were pretty good. There was a lot of potato in them, but it was seasoned nicely. The kebab was a bit dense and greasy, whatever binder they used made it a little heavy. The mixed grill with rice, they gave us a Ton of rice. The meats in the grill were cooked well, not tough, and seasoned. None of them were stellar bites, but the portion was quite large. The Chicken Tikka Mac and Cheese, well it was good in concept. The chicken tikka pieces tasted really good. tender chicken, with that tikka spice blend on the outside really gave the chicken a stand-out flavor. The mac and cheese, that was weak. Kinda reminded me of rehydrated cheese powder. The pasta was cooked al dente, but not crunchy. It wasn't great mac and cheese, but the chicken tikka parts were very good. overall, a very solid indian place. Not much to look at, but tasty food at a decent price. read more

A perfect lunch! I ordered the beef over rice platter and it was amazing. For $12 there was a HUGE portion of rice topped with so much beef. The flavors were delicious and the white sauce they gave you on the side was even better. I went in after ordering 15 minutes beforehand and my order was already prepared and ready to go. What a surprise! We had to go a little out of the way for Fatima's and was so glad we did. It was pretty busy for a Monday night but it was mostly takeout. We dined in because we were starving. It's a small place that can fit about 15-16 people. The food was pretty dang tasty! The pitas for the gyros were soft and warm; as for the chicken and lamb, it was moist. My kiddo inhaled his and thought it was the best thing ever. I had the chicken and rice. The onion and peppers were a nice touch. The rice was delicious and not dry at all. This is a Bangladeshi family owned restaurant. Pricese were very reasonable, and the food was flavorful. I took a seekh kabab and chicken samosa for appetizer. Those were the best things I had here. Chicken noodles was a good entree. Chicken tikka mac and cheese was a good fusion dish. For spice scale, I went for hot. There was one level "very hot" above that. Glad I went only for hot. I came here back when this place was maybe a week into starting their operation and they might have still been 'figuring it out.' Well... they have definitely figured it out :). Ordered a takeout lunch today and everything was so delicious. I had a mix of chicken tikka and lamb over rice and my wife had the chicken tikka salad. We also wanted to sample their menu a bit so we order some kebab, masala fries, tikka mac and cheese, and some chicken samosas. There was no clear winner out of any of it, all of it was so good. But I will definitely be back for another mix platter in the future. The samosas are also huge. You get a really decent portion of everything for a good value and it's all very very good :). Excellent mixed Gyro and chicken over rice. Really, really tasty! My picky daughter had chicken strips, which were average, and fries, which were excellent. Overall, very happy with this place. Oh, and don't let the weird, ultra white/bright interior turn you away. Small counter service Mediterranean spot that also has a few Mediterranean-American fusion dishes. I tried their chicken tikka hoggie and it was very tasty. All of the ingredients were very fresh. I also tried a dish that they described as "Mediterranean rice-pudding" for dessert and was a big fan as well The space itself isn't very special, and is comprised of a bunch of metal chairs and tables It took about 10 min for my sandwich to be prepared, but they offered me a chai while I waited! Feel like I may have to come back and order more things off the menu. I have been keeping tabs on this restaurant since it opened, put it on my bookmarks and it was the number one spot I had to try in manchester for some time. I finally got around to trying today with one of my dear friends. We ordered the chicken samosas, goat curry and lamb platter. Excellent food! Picked up the Ramadan special iftar plate and it was a lot of food for $15! Very tasty, fresh, and delicious. I also ordered kheer and it was one of the best I've ever had. Thick and creamy with real rice like true homemade rice pudding. The small side of chicken biryani in the platter and khichari (rice porridge) were so soothing to my stomach! Very delicious! I also ordered the chicken tikka mac and cheese. Also, ordered the chicken lamb rice platter was amazingly delicious, huge portion, fresh and loaded with meat and bell peppers. My husband was very impressed with the mac and cheese with big chunks of chicken tikka in creamy cheese sauce. I highly recommend this place! This place is absolutely amazing. I stumbled upon it randomly looking to see if any new halal restaurants had opened up. We ventured out with the family to try it and we're not disappointed in the least. The menu is extensive with so many choices, you may have a hard time deciding. From traditional dishes, to fusion, to sandwiches, to platters, etc. We ended up getting a bunch of things just to try out all different flavors and have things to take home. Not a single thing we got was lacking in any taste or flavor - finger licking good. Their platters (street food) are the closest I've found in comparison to NY, which is huge because I'm originally a NY'er. The staff is super friendly. Best part of all you get to choose your spice level on certain dishes and they aren't cheap with the sauce like many other restaurants are. It's not the roomiest of dine in for large parties but they accommodate the best they can. I'm sure with their success in the future they'll expand to a bigger location. All the ingredients in the kebab felt so fresh which made the kebab roll delish. The fries were served with a yogurt and it was Honestly the BEST yogurt I've eaten. So tart I would just buy yogurt. But the samosa chat was my favorite as it was very spicy and perfect with the less spicy kebab roll. The kebab roll was also huge, like me and my bf shared it bc it was so big.
