We tried 4 dishes and loved them all. For appetizers, the potato samosas and dipping sauce were absolutely delicious. The falafel was also amazing. My husband got the goat nihari with spicy rice. It was very hot but he said it was incredibly flavorful. I got the beef and lamb gyro. The meat was tender and flavorful in a tender pita. It was huge and I could only eat half. It was just as amazing as leftovers. We can't wait to go back and try some new dishes. Our server was helpful and the order was perfectly accurate. BIG BINGO HERE! I walked in on a Monday night to find a large nearly empty restaurant that was spotlessly clean. A helpful and friendly gentleman behind the counter steered me into the lamb kebab over the spicy rice. I ordered some garlic naan and sesame naan. It showed up at the table and looked beautiful and tasted even better. The naan was some of the best I've ever had and the yummy sauces were perfect for my lamb and rice dish. Can't wait to go back. Really yummy. We got a spicy biryani, a chicken sandwich, a beef kofta wrap, and a plate. They were all pretty good. I feel like the rice could have been more flavorful but that's me comparing it to a popular kebab food truck in NYC. The kofta was super flavorful, good amount of salt to spice to meat ratio in my opinion. I think both my bf and I would've preferred some more of the white sauce (blanking on the name) but we survived without it. All in all good food at a good enough price. Note that my bf has also gotten their curry before and he liked it but it DOES NOT COME WITH RICE! How bizarre, right?? Still really yummy though I didn't manage to get a picture of those orders. I can't remark on the service or ambiance since I didn't go there in person but I am happy that they gave such a large serving of the biryani rice as my side. I was excited to try this place out once it opened. It's surprisingly large inside, complete with a mihrab even. The owner was very friendly, my food came out quickly, and it's clear they have plans to have a buffet in the near future (March 2024). The menu has a large array of foods on it, some of it sticks to the theme of the restaurant, but there's also enough other food that you could be just about anyone and find something to eat here. I just tried a beef lamb gyro today, however, but it was gigantic, almost the length of my forearm. It comes with lettuce, tomato, onions, and pickles inside, so you're aware. There was also a cup of extra tzatziki sauce, though I didn't find that it was necessary. The quantity of food I got makes me think that you're getting value for your money at this place. My husband loves spicy food. Me not so much... That being said the food was fresh and tasty, although a bit spicy for my taste. (My issue not the restaurant.) There is an optin for non spicy rice. The atmosphere was best described as serene and perhaps a bit spiritual. This is one of my favorite Afghan restaurants. It is Pashtun food, so there aren't the various things you might expect on the full Afghan restaurant menu that also has Tajiki and Hazara offerings. The food is very similar to Punjabi cuisine. I've had both the Kabuli Pulao (lamb shank over rice) and the beef chapli kebab (essentially köfte). They were excellent. Their naan is also good; obviously fresh. The food here is as good as being in Eastern Afghanistan. read more

The gentlemen who took our order was patient and helpful in answering our questions to narrow our choice. The menu is really lengthy and not entirely forthcoming in detail. It could benefit from adding descriptions of items and the additional ingredients to expedite the process. We both got wraps, mine was Chicken Tikka, which was delicious, but husband really really enjoyed his mixed grill wrap. Good food, shady business- me and my wife stopped here after going to the casino ordered to lamb gyros mine was a combo, with fries and a can of soda, and hers was just with a bottle of water. after placing our order at the front , i noticed the amount was off. i Questioned the person who rang up out order, and then noticed the amount was off.. when he printed out our receipt, I noticed they already added 20% gratuity to the meal. For only a party of 2 and no sign stating otherwise... very suspect to me!!! and they have a tip jar in front as well. on a positive note, the food was quite good, and I will say they gave my wife french fries even though we didn't order them (and they didn't notice this) but still the shadiness is putting a tip without letting people know is bad business read more

Stopped in, because we wanted something other than fast food. Had the Lamb tikka skewers with Garlic Naan and Sesame butter Naan. Absolutely fantastic. Generously spiced for plenty of flavor, with just enough heat to moisten your brow, without being punishing. There was a garlic sauce and a spicy mint sauce for dipping which were both very good. The naan was hot, crisp and very tasty, with plenty of Garlic/sesame to make them a real treat. A small salad on the plate made a nice accompaniment, and we could stack up bites of lamb/salad/sauce on our naan with it. Service was fast and friendly, the space is bright and clean, with lots of room if you were bringing a large group. Drinks are all in bottles from the cooler, but, that's a minor consideration. If you have to get fast food Khyber Kabab House is the must have. They changed the way I look at fast foods in a great way. I never thought of Kababs on the run lol. This place is clean quick and fresh. The spices they use add tang not heat. Friendly people plenty of tables and plenty of different foods to try. Best of all it's very affordable.
