Beef shawarma sandwich, meza sampler & grape leaves

I decided to try Fattoush Grill tonight. I ordered grape leaves, the mesa sampler and a beef shawarma sandwich. It was delivered via DoorDash. The food was the perfect temperature and so incredibly delicious. I have leftovers for days and will definitely be ordering from here again.

The Food was good I wanted some tender lamb and it was over yellow rice and salad I did ask for extra dressing. Service was good okay they were very busy. Ambiance full of their culture. Tried a sweet dessert Nanskesh not sure of the name.

So delish! The fam and I absolutely love this place! Must get the dip platter to start (every single one is so good), and we love their sandwiches, fries and garlic dip! Super crispy and flavorful - even tastes good as leftovers when we order so much we can't finish it!!

I had lamb shank at this restaurant. I believe they called it different on the menu. The taste was amazing. Normally, lamb shank is tricky to cook to the perfection. I just suggest that the owner keeps a smile on his face. However, I still give him a 5 star.

Sampler Plater ($22) and Shish Tawook Plate ($21)

I've been eager to try Fattoush as I am a big fan of middle eastern-Mediterranean cuisine. We stopped in around 7:15pm on a Saturday night and were promptly seated in a fairly empty restaurant, though the dining room quickly filled up after we arrived. We started with an order of hummus and pita. The hummus was very good, as it was smooth and creamy, with pronounced tahini flavor. Forget that supermarket stuff...this is how hummus should be! Unfortunately, it was accompanied by thin, dry pita, that was oddly served in a plastic bag as if prepared for takeout. We shared a Sampler Platter and Shish Tawook. Both of the skinny grape leaves and meat and pumpkin kibbeh had nice flavor and texture. We preferred those to the mild sambousek and grilled kibbeh, which had a very fatty lamb flavor. We were glad to try a variety, but next time I'd stick to the kibbeh and grape leaves. All of the appetizers were enhanced by dipping in the hummus, so highly recommend getting at least one accompanying dip. The Shish Tawook was flavorful, but not spicy. A few pieces were dry though, and again, without any provided tahini, z'houg or garlic sauce, the hummus was necessary to complete the dish. The atmosphere is hard to describe. It is a step up from a counter service chain restaurant, as there is table service. But, water is only available in plastic bottles for sale, and the only drink options are cans/bottles (no glasses on table). It is very kid friendly...perhaps an understatement...even at 8:00pm on a Saturday night, noisy kids being ignored by their parents were blaring iPhones, etc. Certainly not the dining table etiquette our family practices, so just set your expectations accordingly. They do seem to do a significant takeout business, which might be the way to go. It's also a bit odd that they automatically charge a 3% credit card convenience fee without even asking how you will be paying. I'll likely return to try a shawarma sandwich or something, as they seem better suited for a grab and go casual set up, though the prices are more reflective of a full service dining experience.

Ridiculously good meal at Fattoush Grill & Bakery in Northborough. The mixed grill plate was incredible - meat perfectly charred and juicy and so flavorful. Generous portions, great value, and friendly and hard working staff. Also ordered baklava, muhmarra pie, babaganoush, and rice... all were A++

With an average five star review on Yelp, and the rarity of Syrian restaurants in Connecticut, I popped into Fattoush Grill & Bakery on my way back from a conference to select something to take home. The thoughtfully organized menu with photos and ingredients of each dish made selection less overwhelming. The service is friendly -- I was given a gratis warm and crisp meat kibbeh to taste before I embarked on the two and a half hour drive home. This was spectacular in appearance, texture, and taste. I ordered the Maza sampler, which included familiar dips, as well as several I had never encountered before. The platter is so colorful, with a range of flavors, from refreshing labneh to spicy muhammara. I look forward to returning whenever I drive through Massachusetts! Parking is easy, with plenty of spaces next to the quaint stand-alone train track-side building.

High-effort, well-executed and conceived takes on middle eastern and American food - lamb over rice, falafel, burgers, hot chicken sandwiches, hummus. Chicken is their strongest suit, in my estimation. They do amazing chicken tenders and chicken wings, paired with a tasty sauce and breaded for a really killer crunch. I love em. Same goes for their chicken burgers, chicken over rice combos, and chicken wraps. Lamb here is great, as is the falafel. I haven't had a bad meal with either. I tried their hummus on a recent trip and thought it was good. Nothing mind-blowing but better than the average. Also want to call out their waffle fries and onion rings, which are perfectly done. I love em to death. Whatever my main is, my side will typically be either the chicken tends or the waffle fries. For the negatives, their non-burger beef offerings suffer from the beef having lots of chewy bits in them. For example, their steak and cheese should be a sure thing, but every bite had a bit chewy bit I had to stop eating to pull out. They also overdo it on the mayo/sauce for that sandwich. So yeah, avoid their steak bomb and steak and cheese. I haven't tried their milkshakes but I am very sure they do a great job. Halal Eatz is one of those places you can usually trust to do a new item very well.

We were craving burgers and found Halal Eatz on Yelp when I was in the Burlington, MA area. I…read moreplaced an online order for their smash burger, a classic cheeseburger, waffle fries, and a cookies n cream milkshake. The burgers were juicy and cooked perfectly and weren't overly salty either. There was a nice amount of grilled onions in my smash burger too. I love waffle fries and couldn't resist when I saw them on their menu. I was greeted with a warm welcome walking in and the cashier seemed genuinely appreciative of my business. Went back a second time a few days later for a double classic cheeseburger and another cookies n cream milkshake. The restaurant is small but has a few dining tables and clean. The free hot tea is a nice touch! Halal Eats is located just a few miles from the Burlington Mall and is well worth the short drive!
