But have gone 3 x since March '24. I have never been satisfied at all on these three trips. I drive almost an hour ...which I do not think I will continue to do so. Today put me over the edge. I had a scheduled 10:30am appointment. I arrived promptly at 10:30. I was told it would be an hour and it should be ready by 11:30. I asked if it included a car wash and vacuum and they assured me that it did. Though they said only the front carpets get vacuumed...seems odd to me..but ok. My car was not finished the oil change/tire rotation until noon!!!!! An hour and a half for what most places can do in less than 30 min. They did not do the car wash or vacuum because they were short handed. They said I could wait longer but not sure when it would get done. This is unacceptable. They had a list of routine things that they suggested that I get done. I said no thank you I will take it to my mechanic. I honestly think I was treated differently after I refused those extra items. I think the car was ready then...but they made me wait longer because I didn't add those to my bill. There were two ladies at the service counter...one was friendly the other not at all. I did not feel like customer satisfaction was at all a priority. I will NOT be back. I tried returning thinking it must get better with the next visit...but it never has!! I did meet with an Isaac in sales who was wonderful. He showed me two Armadas and sadly even if there was one I liked there...I will NEVER purchase from Faulkner anything ever again. With the ease of H&H's appointment scheduler, I had an appointment within 48 hrs at my convenience. Check in was ridiculously simple. Diagnosed a few oil leaks easily. I waited for about 3-4 hrs for the repairs & cleaning to be done. They found a second, small issue and never pressured me into extra work. They gave me an estimate and even told me if my spouse was good at auto work, it would be a relatively simple fix for him. What blew me away was how honest, helpful and super funny the staff were. They made me feel completely at ease and supported. They didn't make me feel like a stupid woman at all, but a valued customer. I highly recommend this business if you're in the area. It's like finding a good dentist that makes a painful procedure easy.

I had been taking my car to a Mazda dealership in CO to get serviced for years so I figured I would do the same here. Being new to the state I also just got an emissions inspection done a few months ago (this will make sense as you read further). Dropped my car off to get serviced and they asked when I would need it by. I told them at least by the end of day which they said would be no problem since I dropped it off at 9:30am. During the service I get a text about the status of my car. I click on a link and watch the video from the mechanic. The mechanic says I have a slew of issues. His recommendations included my brakes needing to be replaced, spark plugs to be replaced, and most concerning was "front suspension control arm busing was completely torn, and rear frame mount is completely torn." I contacted the service department to go over pricing and it was astronomical how much all of this cost, over $3,700! The lady also mentioned to me that the arm busing and frame mount alone "would not pass emissions inspection in PA". Which was funny because my car passed a few months back which I told her. She seemed very concerned about this. I had also just gotten new spark plugs and told her this as well and she said it was only a recommendation. I was not comfortable getting all these repairs done so I told her I wanted just the oil change and filters done. She told me she would contact me once my car was ready. A few hours later and I still did not hear from her. I tried calling the number and received a voicemail saying she was not available. I left a text and got an auto response saying the same thing. I waited another hour and ended up getting a message that they were closed for the day. Never received any communication from the service department, no text (and we had been texting back and forth about my car all afternoon), no call, no voicemail. As a paying customer expecting to get their car done that day, without any communication about my car needing to stay longer, I was very frustrated. Next morning I called as soon as they opened. The same lady that helped me answered. I asked her why they did not contact me about my car. She seem dumbfounded by this and said she tried and thought she left me a message. I told her I got nothing and that I would be happy to show her my call history and text history with them. She didn't acknowledge that this was any fault of hers or whoever else was working on my car. I asked if my car was ready and she said yes. I went there a few hours later when my husband was able to step away from work to take me. When I walked in she finally apologized to me. She said she looked at their system to see why I didn't get anything and it apparently went down that afternoon. Yet they can't call their customers if their system is down. Seems like a lack of customer service. I didn't want to argue, seemed pointless, so I paid and left. Few weeks later I take my car to Hampden Auto to get a second opinion. One a few minutes of glancing at my car they said there was nothing wrong with the front suspension control arm bushing and nothing wrong with the rear frame mount. My brakes were worn but didn't need to be replaced right away. Over $3,700 dollars quoted by Mazda over absolutely NOTHING!!! This inspection made more sense considering the auto shop I got my emissions inspection done at said none of these issues existed either. I always expected a dealership to have higher service prices but to completely make up recommendations and not thoroughly inspect a car before sharing information with the customer is careless. We had a superb buying experience over the past couple days with Lehman Volvo of York. Each…read morecontact, from the first email and phone call to our visit to the dealership, was exceptionally friendly and professional -- providing just what was needed, and absolutely none of the pressure (by comparison, I had also asked a ANOTHER Volvo dealership for some emailed information about one of their vehicles, and got no fewer than 7 unsolicited phone calls with an aggressive sales pitch for a car that didn't even have the features we really wanted). Lehman Volvo of York got our business not only because they had the car we wanted, but because we found that their sales practices centered OUR needs (not theirs!). Our sales consultant Bob Baker worked until late in the night getting things set up for our visit, and did a great job demonstrating all the features of our new Volvo. Sales Manager Wayne Staib also played a big role in getting all our paperwork in order during our visit, and was really great about communicating important information to us via email. Maxine at the front desk was so helpful and pleasant, both over the phone and in person -- she has such a calming and personable energy, and is an excellent public-facing presence for this business. Over the course of a good many years and now 5 Volvos, we have had experience with quite a few of the dealerships in the eastern and central Pennsylvania regions, as well as south and central New Jersey. Among them all, our experience at Lehman Volvo of York was hands-down the very best. When the time comes for us to once again be in the market for a new car, we are heading straight back to Lehman Volvo of York.

I used to be a big fan of this dealership, especially when my car was under warranty however now…read morethat it is not, it seems that things are always wrong with my car when it comes to inspection time. This past August, I took my S-60 to get an oil change and an alignment to Lehman. They came back to me and said I needed almost $3000 dollars in repairs, much of it was required to pass state inspection. It seemed very fishy to me so I resisted getting the service done at that point. I decided I wanted a second opinion on what needed done with my car, especially what was supposed to be necessary in order to pass inspection. I took my car to Apple Ford in York and had them do an inspection on the car. I get service done on my other cars at Apple and I have bought 2 cars from them. I trust Apple. I am glad I took the car there for the inspection because Apple came back with "the car passed inspection with flying colors!". Imagine my surprise when I got that little bit of info when the Volvo dealer was trying to get me to get urgent repairs done to pass inspection. I have paperwork from the Volvo dealer stating what "must be done to pass inspection" and the paperwork from Apple Ford providing it passed inspection with no issues. This review is only on the service department at the York, PA Lehman's Volvo and is not representative of any other departments at the dealership.

Within a month the vehicle vibrated and so bad we decided it was dangerous to drive. Seems the inspection station failed to see the holes rusted through the frame of the car and never should have passed inspection according to the legitimate and honest mechanic who found the problems. The tailpipe rusted through where it connected to the engine and feel off while driving. The final straw was when the right front axle rusted so bad that the axle disconnected from the front right wheel and the car became a three wheel drive instead of AWD. The dealer refused to offer any corrective actions quoting "You signed the Purchased as is document" and the "30 day warranty had expired. Should you find a car there you like and take it to a real mechanic and have them inspect the vehicle and assure you that it is mechanically safe to drive. Pine Manor is not to be trusted. Do this to avoid the $8,000 mistake I made by dealing with Pine Manor Auto Sales
