We rang the bell at the counter, only to be met by a women saying, "uh, we're closed. How did you get in?" We pointed to the side door. Her response? "Well, I can escort you out". (Wow, rude). We then asked, "do you know of another coffee house open?" Her response, "I wouldn't know" (w/ a look and tone that MORE than implied "you can go now"). Then, as we're walking out, my brother comments to her, "I like the (vintage) stereo (in the side room) where an older couple was sitting. My brother asked if they were the owners. The woman curtly replied, "That's my Dad" (with a tone that MORE than implied "what's it to you?) and with a look at the door that was so cold and rude it's hard to relay on this post. The irony? The have a HUGE mural inside that says: SERVING EVERY SIP WITH A SMILE (or something to that affect). But, maybe that's only during hours of operation. My favorite over the years has always been the vanilla-spiced chai, iced or hot, with caramel syrup and oat milk.....THE BEST!
