Just had some of the best Mexican food! Granted, I'm not Mexican, but have had my fair share. The guy working the window was super polite and helpful. My husband loved his asada and al pastor tacos, said the side pepper was super spicy but he kept eating it (he usually gets a 10 at Indian/Thai restaurants). I got the quesabirria and chicken quesadilla, so good!!!! Green salsa and pink sauce were also delicious. read more

When I first saw that this place offered quesabirra's I immediately ordered some. It's been hard to find a place that offers quesabirra's outside of Oceanside but man I was disappointed. To start, one quesabirra for $5 is crazy but the tortilla wasn't even dipped in consume nor was there a side of the consume. Not sure why someone posted they waited two hours for it, most likely they were a part of the social distancing block party we were at. Quality food truck. It's a little more pricey than a hole in the wall Mexican food joint, but you get what you pay for! They have a good variety of street tacos (lengua, carnitas, etc...), burritos, carne asada fries, burgers and quesabirillas-which I don't think many of the other places serve in this town. So far I've had the quesabirillas, street tacos, carne asada fries, the surf and turf burrito, and 2 of the different burgers-all delicious! Our church hired the El Camino Food Truck for an event. They were great to work with and the food was amazing! We paid for just the Carne Asada and the Pollos Tacos but they had the full menu available for us. Everyone said how great the food was. Been coming here since they opened up shop and keep coming back. The place kinda far away from my home but gotta say its worth the 20 min drive. Jose keeps banging out the best food on the grill and the girl at the window give excellent service, every recommendation they've given has never let me down. Sad to say but I will never be coming here again. We come here often and have never had any issues until today. We came here today and ordered our food like usual and there were no other costumers at the time so they made our food fairly quickly. We checked the bag and it seemed like everything was there until we drove all the way home and realized they forgot to give us quesebirria tacos that we ordered. Luckily we don't live far and mistakes happen so we drove back. Once we arrived we let them know that some of our tacos were missing and the lady at the front proceeded to say that she gave us all of them but we explained to her that we didn't and to that she checked the receipt and said that they did forget them. No apology for the inconvenience or anything simply that they forgot them and were going to make them. When they handed us the tacos my boyfriend asked if they gave us an extra one for the inconvenience and she said that we only ordered 2 so they only gave us two. They weren't going to do anything about the inconvenience even tho an apology would've sufficed which she didn't do. She stated that she doesn't cook the food so it wasn't her fault. Whether she made it or not she still works for this company so it was just as much on her as it was on whoever made it. If she would have just apologized from the start then we wouldn't have expected anything but her tone the whole time was rude and standoffish about the whole situation. She even told us that they "only forgot 2 tacos" (which were 3.50 each mind you) and that we "received the rest" as if that made anything better. When I asked her if this happened all the time she said it didn't but later told us that they've had costumers that drive further and have called to say that something was missing and they would get it next time meaning it has happened multiple times before and was trying to make it seem since other costumers were okay with it that we should be too. Once I realized she was only feeding us excuses is when I realized I wasn't going to get anywhere with her. I wasn't trying to get any freebies because a simple apology would've been enough but since I couldn't even get that I will no longer be coming here due to the poor costumer service. read more

It is a California state law that you have to charge the posted price for an item. I went their 3 times and the prices of the burrito I ordered varied. I asked how a $9 burrito could end up cost $12 without any add ons. The reply was "well we just haven't had a chance to post the new prices".
