What makes fire mountain pizza 5 stars? - Dan was accessible and communicative during the whole process (he texts which makes things easier) - his prices were fair given the quality of food - he arrived on time and had everything ready to go - most of all, his pizzas were incredible. We tried Fire Mountain Pizza for the first time at Belching Beaver's tasting room in Oceanside. Service was great (they hand delivered the pizza to our table - probably because it was loud and we didn't hear them call out my name), and the pizza was good. The pizza is very similar to Blaze - a 10" personal pizza, thin crust a couple of toppings. We chose the Margherita and added chicken to it. My wife and I were able to split it in half and came off full. Pricing is a little high. $12 for a thin cheese pizza is aggressive. But then again someone is making it for you, in a beer garden - instead of you cooking it at home. So take that into consideration. We do wish they offered jalapenos as an added topping. I didn't ask but I didn't see it on the menu (although I do see hot cherry peppers so that may be another option). Overall tasty pizza. read more

Fire Mountain Pizza is a new mobile pizza oven and catering business. I had the opportunity to try them out on their maiden voyage this past weekend at an event I attended in Ramona. I was camping so I was ecstatic that I wasn't going to have to cook. Frankly I didn't really care or expect the offerings to be all that great. Boy was I surprised. Fire Mountain Pizza was probably some of the best pizza I have ever tasted. The sauce has a little kick and the crust is perfect. Not too thick, perfectly light with premium toppings. You can really tell that they don't skimp on the ingredients. They also have various salad offerings. The orzo salad cannot be described. I didn't even know I liked orzo and probably wouldn't if served by anyone else but Fire Mountain. It was delicious. I waited a few days to try and think of the perfect review for such a wonderful new business. Finally I realized sometimes there are things you just have to experience for yourself. Fire Mountain Pizza is one of them. I want to have a party just to experience them again. If not I'm going to try and force all my friends to have parties and hire Fire Mountain Pizza. On Monday, January 15, 2018 - MLK Jr. Day - Pro Kids | The First Tee of San Diego held a community event, organized and hosted by one of our high school members and, Dan was kind enough to cater the event free of charge! Dan's daughter attends Pro Kids so he is not only a member of the Oceanside community, he is a part of the Pro Kids family and we can't say enough how proud and honored we are to call him and his family our own.
