Great little breakfast spot. Overall, food was good. I ordered oatmeal, a matcha latte with pumpkin spice and a ham and cheese croissant. The ham and cheese was yummy, the oatmeal was a bit dry so I added some of my matcha to it. The matcha didn't taste like they added pumpkin spice to it but overall it was good. read more

I was so stoked to find a coffee spot close to home that isn't Starbucks. Their espresso drinks aren't too sweet and I'm impressed by the pastries. I haven't been able to stop thinking about the spinach and feta croissant and the employees have all been very nice and quick on the orders :) Definitely a new favorite spot read more

I always love a good little find and this was one. On our way to Del Mar for the day and found this little gem on route. The cappuccino was smooth and delicious. I picked a chocolate and orange scone. It was actually one of the best scones I've had, not as dense as most and I'm a scone lover. My son had a cold brew and apple cinnamon roll, dang if I didn't get a picture of that but he said the dough was super light and cream cheese frosting with apples... perfect! My daughter had the acai bowl without granola because we don't roll the dice with a nut allergy, but she said it was pretty yummy. The service was super friendly and accommodating. This is a drive-thru coffee & snack/breakfast place. (Pastries & bagels, breakfast sandwich, oatmeal, parfaits, etc.) It's nice that they have gluten-free & vegan options. I came for acai, but will return for something different next time! The drink menu looked really good. The parking lot has space to stop & eat, which is good because my acai was soupy, so I wouldn't have wanted to drive anywhere with it. Besides the melted acai, the bowl tasted very good and I was very happy with the toppings. Bonus: a peacock came to say hi to me in the parking lot! read more

Drive in on both sides so the line moves very quickly! I got a honey cinnamon latte while my husband just got a black coffee. We appreciated the size of the drinks (the large is sooo large) but my latter was a little too sweet and the espresso tasted a little burnt to me but could just be the beans and preference. Workers were so nice, helpful, and quick! They offer fresh pastries that we didn't get a chance to try. read more

This place is just a drive up stand. When we went it was a Sunday morning a what would be a busy day for a place like this. We ordered and were told we are out of that. Ok no problem. We ordered something else and were told we can do that either because our blender doesn't work today. Okay how about two açaí bowls to the tune of $15.00 each. We only have one they tell us. Okay give us the one and we got a huge tub of twice frozen açaí with a lot of ice chunks and some sliced up fruit on top. Not good. So easy to do this right and this place missed the mark. Save your money and go somewhere else read more

Cute little drive-thru coffee shop I stopped by on the way to work. It's like a small hut, purely drive thru. I don't know if they have a lot of other coffee shops like this in SoCal (didn't see any growing up), but it reminds me of places I saw in the Midwest like this when I lived there a couple years ago. You can use either window driving up to it. The service I got was friendly. The coffee was good, they do have all your standard options of drinks with specialty flavors and a variety of syrups and kinds of milk. Would recommend to anyone needing coffee while driving along the 76! read more

Drove thru here on a Thursday morning around 7 am. There was one car there pulling away as I came up so I pulled right in. The 2 young ladies working were very polite and helpful. I ordered tea for my throat which was piping hot. I appreciate the sticker covering the hole to keep heat in, instead of a wasteful stopper. The hibiscus tea was bright and floral. I asked for some added honey. I wish they had packets to take with me, but they didn't. I also ordered a spinach and feta "open faced croissant". It's a good size and very tasty. They heated it up for me but it wasn't heated through. I microwaved it when I got to work and it was it practically leaking butter! However, that made the flaky crust so tasty! So I didn't mind too much. I'm glad this place is off the 76 where there is a light so I have a better chance of sneaking back into the morning back up of traffic. I'd like to go back again and try some of their coffee when I'm able. read more

I wish this place wasn't as out of the way for me as it is because I love it! Service is always friendly and fast, lots of good drink options that are always on point, and some of the best baked goods around. They get their pastries from Organic Grail, who make fantastic stuff with good ingredients. No seed oils which is always a plus. The scones are the best I've ever had. I'd make the 20 minute drive here just to have one. Always stop here on my way to Temecula, trip is incomplete without doing so read more

This spot is a little hidden gem, and I'm glad to have found it when I did. I needed a pick me up plus something in my stomach, as I was starving and waiting for results from the Equine hospital that had my horse. I ordered a dirty chai, and it was just perfect! I had to restrain myself from chugging the whole thing down in 10 seconds. I also ordered a warmed up cinnamon roll for a friend, who loved it, and a couple of open faced blueberry cream croissants. The blueberry cream was thick and sweet with a flavor I'm now addicted to. The flaky croissant crust itself could have used a little more salt in the dough, but overall, I'd order it, again! Today was my first time trying Plume & Brew. First off, the location is fantastic; it's right off of the highway and easy to spot. The service was fast and friendly. The place itself is adorable! I ordered a dirty chai which was absolutely perfect! The only reason I give this place 4 starts instead of 5 is because the chocolate croissant I ordered (made by The Organic Grail) was pretty bad. Maybe I just caught the bakery on an "off" day but my croissant was bland, spongey, heavy, and greasy. The texture did not resemble that of a flakey, buttery croissant. The flavor of the chocolate was good but the rest was under-salted and made my tastebuds sad. I will definitely try a different pastry next time (the scones and danishes looked good!). read more

A little hidden coffee shop kiosk off the 76. You drive up and order... easy peasy. They have non-dairy options and vegan pastries although the pastries sell out fast. I didn't get to try any on my visit. My hubby had the iced Mexican mocha with Oat milk and I had the brown sugar latte with oat milk. I liked his Mexican Mocha best but that's because it reminds me of my favorite Mexican hot chocolate drink. My daughter got a smoothie. Staff was friendly. Plume & Brew (Drive Thru Only) now open for business! Some locals will recognize the building that was situated in the same area. This booth has no connection to the old business. But I am happy to see that the fun, familiar booth is being used again. My 6 am visit to the lit up Plume & Brew was welcomed by the ladies working. The owner Michelle filled me in on a few things, like how the name came about and that they had no connection to the previous business of the booth. As for the other employee (possibly the daughter) filled me in on the ingredients of my orders, such as my drinks and pastries. For my drinks I ordered a small Chai Latte and a small Blended Mocha. My pastry selections were, a strawberry scone and a apple filled Concha. Everything was very good. I always especially enjoy a hot Chai Latte with whole milk. The strawberry scone is a new flavor for me to try, and made just the way I like my scones, dry and moist. The apple filled concha is just as good. That too is something I've never tried a filled concha. Their pastries are courtesy of, The Organic Grail (theorganicgrail.com, @organicgrail). They have quite the variety and look forward to trying each and every one of them. I also look forward to trying the Açaí bowls. My daughter is a regular and we were on our way to do a little shopping and told me about this place. I love to support our local small businesses so we got a coffee and pastry. I had their Mexican hot chocolate coffee and their jalapeño and cheese croissant. They were delicious. The service was great and quick for being a coffee stand. It's a drive thru only. Today was my first time coming here! The girl at the window was so helpful and knowledgeable about all the products! She was even able to make my white chocolate mocha with toffee nut! 24 oz and inside is 4 shots of espresso ( I was sold on coming back just for that!) it was so yummy I had a hard time putting it down that half my drink was gone before I got home! Plume & Brew is such a wonderful hidden gem. They have incredible drinks and food that are perfect for when you're on-the-go. I personally love their pumpkin spice latte during the fall, and also their peanut butter chocolate smoothie. Their açaí bowls are always fresh and delicious, and my personal favorite food item are their jalapeño cheddar bagels! I love how adorable the little coffee hut is, too. The line generally moves pretty quickly, so they hustle in their! The variety in milk options is pretty awesome, too. Service is always fairly friendly quick. It's truly great to have them in the area for some good quality coffee!! read more

I'm calling out this specific McDonalds for their incredibly rude (actually hurtful) customer…read moreservice. We accidentally ordered (because of the forced Kiosk ordering system) I guess what is called a "teen meal" or ??. We wanted kids meals for our toddler grandkids. The teen meals come as spicy sandwiches which they couldn't eat, and with some sort of cards, not toys. The gal was rude; ignoring us; disparaging us to another worker in spanish, and refused to swap out the toys for the disappointed kids. This is pennie's to a billion dollar franchise. Not that we make a dent in anything, but i will be reporting this to the corporate offices on their web site. THIS location needs training or replacement

Outside of that, this cool business has all kinds of exercise routines throughout each day of the week. In my estimation this is a much better way to get your exercise routine in without dealing with all the discomforts and drawbacks of a traditional gym. Certainly on top of being a good place to workout, it's a good place to meet new friends and create a social network for yourself. In addition to the cool workout studio, they have a nutritional - protein drink counter that is outstanding. You'd honestly think you were being naughty, but these drinks are packed with protein and only about 200 calories. Excellent for building muscle and replacing body fat with muscle. As long as you mix the extra protein with exercise that is. Something I have been working on for...essentially my whole life. The mixture of exercise and protein drink is a great combination to a healthier lifestyle. And this place is a one stop shop. Everyone I have met at Fallbrook Active Nutrition have been outstanding, unpretentiously friendly, and helpful. Kind of what you would expect in Fallbrook. This place is simply an all around cool experience. Have a good sweat with a replenishing protein drink and experience the health benefits. Or replace that thousand calorie milkshake with one of their delicious two hundred calorie protein shakes. You'll never know the difference and may even like the taste of these better.
