I'm thinking about driving over to Fauquier Family Practice to see what the rudest receptionist in the world looks like. Her lack of professionalism was so staggering that all I could do was hang up. It's bad enough to feel ill, but to have to speak to some surly cretin just to get an appointment was like a flamboyant slap to my already sick face. This place has zero customer service BEWARE!!! I was told about FFP by a friend of mine. Sadly it was a poor recommendation. If I could give zero stars I would. I called to make my very first appointment and the receptionist was so rude it seemed as if it was a huge inconvenience. First red flag. I arrived at the office and was pleasantly surprised by a very nice and friendly receptionist. My appointment was with Lisa the PA as I wasn't sick and just needed to establish a regular doctor in the area. A large female medical assistant brought me to the back and did my vitals. I though she was pretty rough and gruff but whatever. I sat in the exam room for 40 minutes waiting. Which I understand people get behind and it's tough in that field. However, I could hear out in the hallway every word being spoken. The MA talking poorly about other patients etc. Definitely not cool, not to mention she could have poked her head in and let me know they hadn't forgotten about me. Lisa came in and was straight forward and fine. I asked her for GYN recommendations as I was due for an annual pap smear. She did give me a few suggestions but let me know that at my age I only need to go once every two years. Hallelujah I said. Haha So it came time to refill my Rx for birth control and I called them and my pharmacy. They rx kept getting denied, so after a few days I called and left a message with the nurse. No return call. I called back a few days later where the very rude MA told me that they wouldn't refill because I don't have a recent pap smear on file. I said ok and when where you going to communicate that with me because a week has gone by? Also, told her that Lisa had told me I could go every two years. She put her hand over the phone and was obviously complaining about me to whoever was next to her. Long story short, it's a month later and I sent over medical records twice with several weeks to spare. And now after over two weeks they finally say they received my records but Lisa is out of the office and Dr Lin requires a Pap smear every year so they won't refill. I asked if there had been notes in the computer for the last several phone conversations. The receptionist said no but I highly doubt he even looked. So because I take birth control due to severe endometriosis I will go without my medication for the second time and be in extreme pain. They obviously do not care. They have zero communication with patients and obviously sub par note keeping. I was even told at one point that they just have too many patients. Go somewhere else folks this place is a nightmare. read more

Lisa Springer is the best! She makes you feel very comfortable being able to talk to her about what you are being seen for. She also spends time with you and is very thorough. She does this because she truly cares and wants the best for her patients. She has helped me so much. read more

Lisa is great. They really need to re-train their receptionist on customer service. She has very poor social skills.

I came in not feeling well to get greeted by a rude Asian male receptionist. He proceeded to order food over the phone and left me standing there while I was trying to make an appointment to see the doctor. I hope his general Tso's chicken and shrimp fried rice was worth it. My review in no way reflects the treatment I have received by Lisa Springer, NP. I have been a patient of Lisa Springer's for approximately 10 years, and have always wished she would open her own practice. While Lisa is a great NP and truly cares about her patients, there is just no way to describe the jerk behind the desk/phone, Tom. He is the most rude, condescending, jackass I have ever come across in any situation, let alone a physician's office. I've been to specialist's offices that make you wait for an hour to see them - I don't go back. Why have I allowed myself to be treated so rudely by this man for so long? Because of Lisa. The only reason Tom is at that office is because his father owns the practice!! No one else in their right mind would hire such a jerk. I am moving out of the area soon, and wish Lisa and Dr. Lin the best of luck. If it weren't for Tom, I would drive from my new location to see Lisa. But, after what I have dealt with for the last several days with trying to get a prescription refilled and being put on the back burner by the moron that thinks he has the right to treat other human beings like dried up dog turds, I will be looking for another physician. read more

The people at this practice have been so helpful to my entire family! My husband goes regularly to Dr. Lin for check-ups and screenings. I see Lisa Springer, who is very knowledgeable and patient-friendly. My children had all of their checkups there when they were younger. This practice has served us well. read more
