This is my favorite Chinese bakery! And you always in and out. They conveniently have other locations in Woodside, Forest Hills, and Roosevelt Avenue. Their sponge cake is amazing as well as their chocolate walnut bun. Their drinks are good too. If you aren't into their pastries, they have cakes and chocolate mousse, Black Forest among others. I definitely recommend this place. It is addicting ... trust me!

Not bad but nothing to force all your friends to go to. We got custard buns and they were good, not great. I hear they are usually better so I'll try again in the future. Good prices. Not too busy.

For fans of Fay Da Bakery, this new Fay Da location in Maspeth is right off the LI Expressway. The place is smaller than other Fay Da but they have most popular goodies to satisfy your cravings. They just open so some of your favorite items may not be carried here yet. Parking is tight since it is shared with many other businesses.

Fay Da is still the best quick serve bakery with grab-and-go food and drinks galore, like bubble tea, matcha, and all types of flavored teas. Yum. Could not have opened in a better location, Maspeth needed this! Their summer hours are extended as well til 8pm!

Been here twice and absolutely love the food!!! Staff friendly and the beverages are pretty decent. Prices are affordable and food is well above average. Really looking forward to going back!

A typical Chinese bakery, I ordered the coffee and some bakery. Would recommend to anyone who likes bakery if you are in the area.

I love the pork bun and the lotus leaf rice buns. I usually get the matcha iced latte also.

Went in last minute for breakfast and their cheese danish and scallion and pea bread were to die for. Also matcha 10/10.

We came by the day before Mother's Day, so they had pre decorated Mother's Day cakes. You can also place an order. Service is quick and friendly. We initially planned on getting a Strawberry Shortcake, as that seemed to be the cake to get. However, we opted for the Cheesecake, because we were able to add fresh strawberries (and whipped cream) on top! I'm not a fan of whipped cream, so I avoided that, but everyone seemed to enjoy. It had a good creamy texture and was not too sweet. The strawberries were indeed fresh. The pound cake was soft and airy. The vanilla flavor comes through. I will have to try the Marbled version next time! Note: Cash Only! A regular customer ordered the tiramisu cake; said it was the best cake ever, so will have to try that next time!

A friend recommended it to me, and I've already ordered two birthday cakes from here. The tiramisu cake was absolutely delicious, honestly one of the best I've ever had. I didn't even know you could customize a tiramisu cake since it's usually served the traditional way, but they made it exactly how I wanted. As someone who loves tiramisu, this really stood out. I also ordered a strawberry shortcake, and it was just as impressive. The buttercream was so good , light, flavorful, and not overly sweet. Everyone loved it, and there wasn't a single slice left. The owner's son (I believe) was super helpful, he really takes the time to understand what you want and brings it to life perfectly. I've also tried their croissants, which are huge and delicious, and the hero bread is excellent too. Just a heads-up: they only accept cash.I'll definitely be ordering all my cakes from here moving forward!

I tried the Indonesian dish duck penyetan which is crispy duck that comes with spicy sambal and rice. The duck was tender and nicely fried, with the sambal perfectly spicy (proper Indonesian heat level). The cafe also specializes in desserts, and I got the Indonesian shaved ice that come with all the fruits and toppings. This was perfect for summer, big portions and the toppings all accompanying each other well. Service is quick and fast, but they don't accept $50 or $100 bills. Inside is neat and clean.

Our dinner there tonight was perfect! We ordered chicken wings, french fries, and pork soup dumplings for our kids. For my husband and me, we enjoyed the pork combo, the crispy watercress salad and Batagor (fried fish cake, fried tofu, fried wontons and fried potato with peanut sauce on the side in case our kids wanted any). Our most memorable and refreshing dish was the Crispy Watercress Salad. Who knew watercress could be fried!?! lol We will definitely be ordering again next time as well as recommending to others. This dish was refreshing and light. Loved every bite! The pork combo was a combination of roast pig, sausage slices, fried slices of fish cake, etc. with rice and soup on the side. Easily the ideal lunch for one person or to share with someone! The Batagor was very fun to eat because it reminded me of fondue but with peanut sauce. I loved dipping the fried fish cake, fried tofu, fried wonton and fried potato in the yummy peanut sauce. This night was delicious and the perfect family dinner for us. With tax and 20% tip, total was about $145 and change. A little steep for family dinner but it was about right considering the raising cost of groceries. We considered it our New Year dinner. Eaton Cafe definitely gets two thumbs up from me and my Yummylicious Stamp of Approval! Happy New Year everyone!
