Loved the crepe itself (great texture and level of sweetness) and enjoyed the flavors except for the whipped yogurt. It added a sour taste that I wasn't a big fan of. The chocolate gelato was extremely rich but tasty! The food was also very well packaged for takeout

i like that these crepes were different from french and it wasn't terrible but maybe i'd get a regular dessert crepe next time. i wasn't a fan of the eggs and i wasn't a fan of the oil/grease pool at the bottom of my cone

What's there NOT to love about T-Swirl Crepes! Great location smack dab in the middle of Forest Hills amidst all the nearby bars and restaurants. Perfect way to end a night out! My favorite is their #10 - Chocolate Nut Party. It's a chocolate lovers dream. Service is quick and accommodating (even to substitutions) and the seating area has just enough space inside if you want to dine in.

The crepe shop is on the second floor of a busy street on Austin. I had a sudden craving for crepes and I'm happy there's one so close by. It was hard to choose a flavor from their menu since the menu is so expansive. They have savory and sweet crepes with a lot of unique options. I decided to get the t swirl fruit cocktail crepe (a mix of all different types of fresh fruit and added custard cream, pistachios and chocolate pearls). I asked for no whipped yogurt but they seem to have forgotten. No biggie. The crepe is served in a paper sleeve, which was inconvenient to eat out of. It took more effort to peel the sleeve than to eat the crepe . Overall the crepe was good enough to satisfy my cravings, but still on the hunt for a good crepe in this area.

I had my first sweet crepe here that didn't have ice cream, and boy did it feel light and refreshing! Came here for a quick dessert. Unfortunately when I was there, they were out of lychee. Thankfully, their Mango Raspberry crepe was very tasty, so I did not end the night too disappointed! A pretty good crepe place for what I got, availability aside.

Absolute waste of money!! I'm not sure what's up with most places nowadays charging ridiculous prices. I paid $19.60 for 2 crepes and trust me there's nothing phenomenal about them. This is mind boggling as to how they charge $9 for a crepe that's just Nutella, banana, and strawberries. Oh it's $2 extra if you want to add Nutella. The fact there's an extra charge for $2 hmm I expected a lot of Nutella but dang they really stole my Nutella. Quantity doesn't match the price they charge. Next time I shall make a quick shopping trip to Walmart to buy bananas, strawberries, and Nutella if I decide to ever come back here for crepes!! But that won't be necessary as I refuse to come back. Q) Worth your money? NO Q) Quantity for the price paid? The portions are not great for the price paid Q) Cleanliness Overall place was clean Q) Parking Street and parking lots Q) Recommended? I do not recommend this place at all to anyone!!

Such a disappointment! This is a plain Jane when it comes to crapes. Save your money visit another crape place. The gelato isn't even placed into the crape, given in a small container. Every other topping is extra. Sooooo not worth the visit

The food is super yummy. They have sweet and savory crepes. The service is fast and helpful. The place is small with indoor and outdoor seating. They also have online ordering.

Ice cubes in my berry "slush"

TLDR: the food and drinks are great when made properly, but it seems like the quality varies a lot :( I actually ate at this shop before and really liked it. So much so that I came back to share it with my friend this afternoon but we had a very different experience and I was really disappointed. We only ordered two slushes and were the only people in the store except for a lady waiting on some crepes. Even though there were 2 employees we waited at least 20 minutes for the two drinks. The man behind the counter made what I could tell was my drink first and left it sitting behind the counter for around 10 minutes while he worked on the other. When they finally gave them to us mine was completely liquid (which made me think it melted from sitting so long) but turns out it was half full of whole ice cubes. My friends drink was blended slightly better but still so thick that it was hard to drink even with the big boba straws. It's a shame because I really enjoyed the first berry slush I had there, but for $8 a drink and a pretty extensive wait, today definitely changed my opinion of the store.

    Great packaging for to-go orders.

A small, clean shop with a friendly staff serving yummy crepes made to order. We like the custard, strawberry banana chocolate combination.

the architecture in t-swirl crepes are always consistent and its very nice to see that in every one i go to. this one was no exception. the crepe displays were very cute and the staff was really nice. i really like being able to see them make my crepe in real time because it makes me feel like I'm not really waiting for it. i got the chocolate nut party which is my go-to since it's my favorite flavor and it was delicious. i really love the chocolate gelato they put on top because it has that perfect chocolate flavor.

Creperie on Ludlow St came up in my search and we happened to be down that way on Sunday. I'm also a huge ice cream and gelato fan, but husband is lactose intolerant so he prefers non-dairy. Last year we discovered the amazing vegan ice cream at Orchard Grocery, but I wanted the real thing this trip and he apparently hadn't wanted a frozen treat at all so wouldn't do Orchard Grocer for himself and a different place for me. Happy medium? Share a good crêpe! We found it at Crêperie. SO many choices, many similar to ones we loved in France. Extensive selection, but it didn't take long to decide on the apple-walnut-caramel crêpe to share, costing not much more than 2 ice creams. We watched the lone young man as he poured batter onto the round griddle to just the perfect thinness; as he expertly flipped it; as he loaded on plenty of apple compote, plenty of walnuts, and gently squeezed caramel sauce. Then he folded it into a neat rectangle, scooped it into an exactly the same size pan, flipped the whole thing over onto another griddle and left it to heat while he made a crêpe for the person behind us. At exactly the right moment (was he watching the clock? or maybe he's just THAT good!), he flipped it over, slid the crêpe onto a plate, artistically drizzled more caramel sauce on top and then gently shook some powdered sugar over it. Handed me 2 forks and knives and we sat on stools at the counter for our Sunday afternoon treat! Excellent! They have several savory crêpes (in Paris, those were usually buckwheat crêpes called galettes) and many sweet ones. Unfortunately it's more of a takeout place, with just the few stools at a counter inside, and a couple of small tables outside. I'm still looking for a genuine Parisian-style restaurant with a good selection of galettes and crêpes - but this was a great find and I definitely recommend it to you!

Food Escargot (4/5): The pieces were fairly large and there was about a dozen pieces that were all very tasty/fresh. The buttery flavors stood out. It was too salty but the bread dipped well into it. The plain white bread slices wasn't good, although its hard surface was a great vessel to enjoy the escargots on. Not ideal for dipping as it didn't soak up too much sauce. They do delivery services through mobile apps like DoorDash + GrubHub + Snackpass + Uber Eats. The service from staff is fast, although they might not always be the most friendly people working in there. Place is spotless clean, tidy, and organized. The sweet & savory crepes do look like the exact replicas from the display window ~ so no false advertising at all. The ambiance wise is a cute little shop. The savory crepes make a pretty good breakfast, lunch, dinner or even just a quick snack on the go. As for the sweet crepes, it's a sweet little treat once in a while (two to three times in a month). The crepes are made with 100% rice flour. Additionally, they can be made gluten-free upon request to the staff from customers when paying with cash or card in the front counter. Every individual crepe is freshly made when customers have placed an order. Now, they've mini crepes on the menu if you don't wanna bite into a regular-sized version. You can choose to add a scoop of ice cream on the sweet crepe for an additional cost as well. My favorite sweet crepe is the Matcha Chocolate Truffles. It contains sliced strawberries + diced chocolate truffles + matcha custard cream + whipped yogurt + chocolate sauce + crushed pistachio. Has the right amount of sweetness and textures. Better eat really fast because the chocolate sauce & custard cream might start melting/leaking onto your hands. The crepe will become soggy too after 10-15 minutes or so. I think there's hand sanitizer or wipes if your hands do end up being sticky though. My favorite savory crepe is the Chicken Teriyaki. Definitely healthier and a bit more on the drier side compared to the sweet crepes with the chocolate sauce. The ingredients are chicken breast stripes + baby spinach leaves + diced carrots + corn pieces + red onions, sliced boiled eggs + sesame seeds + crunchy shallots. Sesame dressing & teriyaki sauce are drizzled on top to finish it off. Less messy to eat too because nothing is melting. Surprisingly, the crepe shell is still crispy even after 30 minutes if you're a slow eater like me! I enjoy stopping by once in a while for a sweet treat or a quick snack since it's the closest spot to my home.
