We had a few drywall issues needing repair: water damage repair in ceiling, gaping at light switch,…read moreand corner damage from door being slammed open from the wonderful North Fontana winds. Sent out service requests via Yelp and Parker's Painting offered a competitive bid. They were not the lowest, but I appreciated the timely and professional communication. So we decided to move forward and we are very happy with our decision. As you can see from the pictures, set up was meticulous. My house was left as if there wasn't any work done and the results were even better. The wall, corner, and ceiling look as if there was never anything there. Bookmarking Parker's for sure for any future drywall or paint work we may need.

Straightforward estimate process. Pricing was fair and I liked Garrett's (the owner) attitude. Spent 3 days scraping, sanding and patching to prepare for painting as well as moving all items out of the way before painting. They masked off quite a bit of area to ensure that there would not be any overspray. This attention to preparation continued as they did the stucco, trim/facia/eaves, siding and doors. They also help trim back some of the vegetation from wrought iron fence that they painted. Very happy with the process and results. My wife is making plans to have them back to do some work on the inside of our house.

They also painted the garage, and the color matched perfectly with the epoxy, which made the entire space come together. The garage honestly looks brand new now. The team was professional, efficient, and easy to work with throughout the process. I'm very happy with the results and would definitely recommend them.

We hired Diaz Painting to paint the exterior of our home last month, and they did an amazing…read morepainting job! These guys drove from the Corona/Riverside area to our home daily and showed up on time. We felt the pricing was fair for the size of our home, and the overall value for the work done was excellent. For only two painters, they were able to complete the work in the timeframe we were quoted, which was great. However, there were a few communication and cleanup issues that prevented this from being a 5-star experience. As a military family, we were grateful for the military discount provided by the project manager, Fermin. He was highly professional, communicative, and even included a few complimentary touch-ups, like refreshing our light fixtures and painting the side garage door.  Unfortunately, property care at the end of the project fell short. The crew removed our security camera bases to ensure an even paint job but didn't notify us where they were placed. We had to search our yard and eventually found them stashed inside our outdoor cat house and a flower bed. Additionally, the side garage door weatherstripping was removed for painting and left off. Even if the crew intentionally left it off to allow the paint to dry completely, failing to communicate that instruction to us, left us to figure it out and reinstall it ourselves.  The painting itself deserves praise, and the project manager provided our full paid receipt and warranty information as requested. However, better attention to detail regarding communication and final cleanup is needed. We were happy to support a business in the Inland Empire.

Their quote…read morewas very competitive and they estimated 1-2 days to complete, but it took less than 6 hours to turn these 2 super dark walls to pure white. I was worried considering it's such a drastic change from dark paint to white, and one wall was loft height 2-story tall and the other one was around 13 tall wall. They did it with ease. I was blown away by the speed they worked at and the results speak for themselves. They were both very very friendly and easy to work with. I now know who to go to for the best price, best work paint job!!

1-star for an attempted mid-job bait-and-switch…read more Revive and Refinish gave us a written quote for a fixed price, which we signed based on the stated scope. They arrived late, removed our doors, and sanded some of them. Then, after work had already started, the painter on site said the existing paint required more sanding than expected and that there was suddenly an issue with the original quote. At that point, no clear additional price was given on site, and no one from the company proactively contacted me. I had to call them myself, and only then was I told by Jack that the job would cost an additional $1,300. That is not how a professional company should operate. Their written scope already included prep and painting, and sanding/prep were discussed from the beginning. If the price was truly conditional, that should have been clearly disclosed before we signed. It was not. Instead, they started the job, removed our doors, and only raised a pricing issue after work was already underway. There was no written change order, no revised estimate, and no approval from us before the project stopped. Once we refused to proceed under those circumstances, they reinstalled everything and refunded our deposit, which was appropriate -- but that does not excuse how the job was handled. At least one door was reinstalled improperly, there was an exposed hinge cutout/mortise left on the door edge, and visible patch/filler material was left on the door jamb and trim near the latch/strike area. The doors were not returned in their original condition. This was not a clean reset. It wasted our time, disrupted our home, and forced us to restart the project with another company. We obtained multiple additional quotes, all lower than their original quote, and now have another company scheduled to complete the work this week for less than what Revive and Refinish originally quoted us. The actual painters themselves were polite and professional. The real issue was the estimate, the communication, and raising a pricing issue only after work had already begun. As reflected in my review history, I do not leave negative reviews lightly. Be careful. Update after Owner response: Your response actually reinforces my main concern. You stated you continued working based on an "understanding" that the additional work was approved. That is exactly the issue. If extra work is needed, the price should be clearly provided and explicitly approved before continuing -- not assumed mid-project. My husband only spoke to a painter and was never given a price, I had to text you to get that information. We specifically pointed out the prior paint job on the doors during the estimate because we were already concerned about it. Your representative looked at them, took photos, and had the opportunity to identify or at least flag any potential prep issues before work began. If this is a known possibility that can significantly affect the scope and price, then a qualified painter should be involved during the estimate. That is exactly why we scheduled estimates with multiple companies and set aside time for your company to properly evaluate the project before work began. That is the entire purpose of an estimate. Your response also highlights a deeper issue with your system: if conditions that can significantly affect scope and price are only "discovered" after work begins, then your estimates and contracts are clearly not as reliable as customers are led to believe. Without having a qualified painter involved during the estimate, this same mid-project price increase issue could easily happen again to future customers. Unexpected conditions can happen, but that does not excuse poor communication or proceeding without a properly documented change order. My husband was not given a clear additional price upfront before work continued, and that should never happen on a professionally managed project. No reasonable customer would be comfortable with a $1,300 mid-project price increase after already signing a contract -- especially when the work then leaves the home in worse condition than it was before. Future customers should absolutely be aware of that.
