Paid a LOT of money just to walk around hay barrels and wooden slats like a sad cow. The bubbles were cute, so I liked those. No, they aren't spooky bubbles. There is so much work that goes into creating Fear Farm - lots of imagination and creativity went into manufacturing each attraction. I give 5 stars for this. The actors were great as well. They stayed in character and were adequately scary. There were also enough actors throughout each attraction that you remained frightened during the entire experience. We went on the first Sunday of October and opted to not upgrade to a Fast Pass or Skip the Line. General admission worked just fine and we waited no more than 10 minutes for each attraction. However, if you are going closer to Halloween, I do think it would be worth it to upgrade tickets as I can imagine how long the lines get. The downside to this event was all of the dust. I felt like I was breathing dust in constantly. I'm not sure what the solution to this is, perhaps lightly misting the dirt with water beforehand? The dust was definitely a problem though. The parking was free and not too far of a walk. I would not pay the extra $10 to park closer unless you really don't want to walk the extra 100 yards. There were two food stands selling typical carnival food and a small stand selling t-shirts and such. Unfortunately no pumpkin patch or any other amenities. All in all, I think the ~$30 for the 4 attractions (corn maze is an extra charge) was semi worth it. It was a good experience, but could have been better. Fear farm needs to hire actual actors not teenagers. Literally went through all your houses and wasn't scared once. Maybe you need to train your employees to scare even when crowds are coming next. I literally walked by your "scare actors" and they just stared at me in the haunted house once they scared the crowd in front of me. Mid-farm Paid $52 after tax for a skip the line pass. It was nice being able to avoid the longer lines but in the end we did everything in 40min. Most of the actors are meh but definitely some shining stars in and outside the mazes that bring it back. Plenty of places to get snakes and nonalcoholic drinks (no alcohol served inside or allowed) All in all it's a fun hour TOPS if you've never been but don't recommend this if you're looking for a night out or something you'd return to do. read more

I don't understand the bad reviews? My family of 5 (20 yr old, 16 yr old, 11 year old) and 18 yr old cousin and 11 year old friend went to Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights in Hollywood 2 years in a row at $459 for each VIP ticket. This year we took the same party to Fear Farm and spent $104 per ticket for VIP. Fear Farm was way more scarier, more fun and better production and visuals overall! It was amazing! The actors were fantastic, the costumes and sets incredible. The haunted houses were long and so well built. I thought we'd be done in 1 hour, no way! There is so much to do and see it took us 3 hours! In the end, Fear Farm is far superior than Universal Studios. It's worth $104 even without VIP. Will definitely be back next year!!!! read more

My Girlfriend and her Daughter have been here in the past and always raved about the whole production and how it gave them a great scream. My expectations were pretty high, but the result was gravely disappointing. Each attraction had very few people, even my Girlfriend was amazed at how not interactive it was as compared to last year. The only thing they had in abundance was loud chainsaw motors all over the place. We had the fast pass feature which was great, I would have been pissed to wait in those long lines and be disappointed like I was. What we did like was the Escape Room feature! I wish the Hollow House (Clown house) was scarier but I also think that's due to the time we went in. It was almost closing time so actors were ending their shifts which is understandable. (Lots of people don't realize that some of these actors are running around and in heavy costumes/holding heavy equipment so it gets exhausting). Great place if your scared of clowns & chainsaws. There's about 5 houses to go in and in one you need to bend down abit and another you need to crawl thru a bit. There's a haunted hayride which they stop and make you get off and walk thru the corn maze while clowns come after you. There's vendors to sell food there. There's free parking unless you want to pay for VIP. Great place to have fun with family and friends. read more

Terrible experience. There was a worker/actor that had a spray hose with water and he came up to me. I plead with him not to spray me in the face over and over again and he walked up to me and put it 2 inches away from my face and soaked me. Not once but twice. I even grabbed the hose to push it away and he kept going. So disrespectful. I've been to over 30 haunted houses and when someone tells someone to stop they always stop. This guy was rude and ruined the whole experience because I had to walk around soaked. Definitely do not recommend this place. Never going back again. read more

Well I bought a ticket for my daughter - who is the only one interested in going. She became sick the day of her event (going with friends). The NO REFUNDS policy is a joke. The lines were long and then We were rushed through each haunted house, so there wasn't time for the actors to reset to scare us. The dead mans wharf was a joke. Our group of four purchased tickets for the 9:45 slot. Upon arrival we were told not to scan them and to come another day cause they closed at 10 which google said otherwise. We drove 2 hours to get there. And arrived at our time. We spoke to a manager, Kyle, who was very rude and refused to give a last name or shake my hand. He said that we would not be able to get a refund and that we had to go to the box office to switch the tickets. I asked if I could go in to the box office because it was before 10, closing time, and he said no it closes at 9:30. I asked how I was supposed to know that information and the only thing he said was "I just told you" There are no posted times on the website and the workers were not helpful at all. And now I have 4 useless tickets that I paid over 100 dollars for and wasted 4 hours of gas money for. Horrible experience. This establishment cannot take criticism or answer simple questions. I will try everything I can to get my money back, and I would advise not wasting yours on a company that has no sense of awareness. read more

So fun and scary! Lines were very quick!! My favorite attraction was the mermaid themed area!

It was so fun!! The maze was great you get a lamp to walk around with it's great when your phone dies.

This was the worst haunted house I've ever been to. It sounds so promising - 4 houses. They were all literally the same. You stroll through corn, you end up in a small room with no room to scare you, you find people with chainsaws at the end. Every location was brightly lit, and the effort was low. It was hard to tell if the actors were other guests or not at times, due to the fact they would be wearing normal clothes and no theming outside of black smudges on their face. Another problem is how densely packed this was. Luckily, I got the fast pass so I didn't have to waste my time on this garbage and went mostly right to the front. The girls letting people in made zero effort to pause groups, so it was just a constant flow of traffic. Actually it got so packed you had to walk pretty slow.
