Good costuming. 3D was fantastic. Still a steep price for admission to the House(s). Wish there was more 'bang for your (my) buck'.

So we had 200 paint balls. We did run out a bit quicker but if you don't shoot a lot your good with 200. 100 went by the first half, some went even quicker. So you get on the truck and they drive you around and you shoot zombies. They will let you know when your at your half way point and when it's the last scene to shoot zombies so you can use all your paintballs. I suggest you wear like gym shoes cause it's a rocky area. Also it's pretty dark where you walk and park. Happy there's no parking fee. There is a sign for parking.

Zombie WarZ makes sure that innocent civilians are prepped to rise to such an occasion! What a better way to keep the zombies at bay by shooting them?! Well at least, safely, with paintball guns! Often the biggest question I'm asked is: "Do you also get shot at?" Luckily, no you do not. Zombies do not shoot paintball guns so you are safe from getting hit! Instead, you ride military like vessels driving around to zombie infested areas with mounted paintball guns ready for action! Zombie WarZ is very family friendly! Our group of 30+ people had a couple kiddos and they just had a blast! Like I mentioned earlier, the paintball guns are mounted so they are safe from kids, and adults..., from shooting themselves or any humans. You can still point the guns up and down and side to side so targeting is still feasible! The front end of the truck holds 9 civilians, and the double decker trailer had the rest of our crew. Each part of the truck had a soldier helping us with ammo if needed and adjusting our guns if needed (especially if a novice like I accidentally switches the safety on and can't shoot anything).. Becky (or Becca?) our soldier was amazing! She was animated and so much fun! There were also rock tunes playing to get us in the zombie shooting mood! We definitely all enjoyed our experience immensely!

It was the first haunted house area I went to this season. I was most impressed by the passion of the hired actors. They really got into character and the costumes were great too. There were 2 haunted house options open the night I went. The overall grounds for a bit rough after the recent heavy rains. The place overall had a backwoods, abandoned construction site vibe to it. Going through two of the three haunted houses took less than an hour including waiting in line. The design of the haunted houses was good. A few jumpscares and definitely creepy characters. However, there wasn't much to do at the event grounds activity-wise after going to the haunted houses.

The setups impressive, the haunts wandering through the lines were so fun...5+ stars! Totally recommend Scarizona! I haven't laughed like that in a long time...I don't think I've screamed like that ever! The all black room areas are especially unique! The house further off had way shorter lines last night so maybe start there, then go back to the one closer to the admission area. Either way the actors make waiting on line very fun! What's the last thing you did to bring out your inner child?

Since you can pay to go to just one or all of the attractions, this seems fair. I'll base this review solely on my experience with The Crypt. The Crypt has nice props and F/X throughout and that's really about it. No scare factors for us hardcore Halloween & horror fans, and no thrills. It was kind of just like, oh wee... Look at the cool display. That's it. If you an 8 year old kid, or just an easily frightened person, you'll love it. However, if you're on a budget (or time schedule) and can't afford to do all of the attractions, so you're wondering which of the 3 you should pick, choose this one; it is by far the best of the 3. Located in the Fiesta Mall parking lot (which is typically a dead giveaway for impending lameness), right off of US-60 and Alma School Rd. Plenty of free parking. Go to their website for a $3 off coupon. Even if you have a Groupon, you must stand in the ticket line to get a physical ticket.

Parking was also an extra cost, but I think if you bought your parking online it was a little bit cheaper. There was a Fear Farm merch tent and a few other tents selling food and drinks. Since we came on Wednesday, I'd say the lines weren't as bad as it may have been on the weekend. However, there were definitely a lot of missed opportunities for jump scares. While everyone in our group did get scared at least once, I thought it would be more scarier. Some of the themes were better than others. I don't think I would come back to this one. There are other haunted places to check out in the valley. I will say that the music they had playing throughout the park that evening was awesome. Not sure if it's always the same, but it was hits from the 90's!

The carnival themed one was my favorite but it was too short. The blood shed one was too long and barely had any decorations, it was basically just a maze. So when I saw an ad about 13th Floor Haunted House on Facebook, I knew it was time to get back in the mix. I checked out this haunted house on a Sunday at 8:00 p.m. It was their last day on November 2nd. Parking was a cinch in the spacious parking lot they share with other businesses. Once you arrive, you'll see a line outside of the building which winds in the same way that you would see at an amusement park. This was my least favorite part of the experience. It took about 30 minutes to get through the line outside and the line inside of the building. And then the haunted house itself takes about half an hour. You can pay extra to skip the line, but I'm not about that life. I just wish they had a system in place logistically where you can get through the line quicker. I imagine that Friday and Saturday evenings are even more crowded than the Sunday evening I attended. I won't ruin all of the surprises about the haunted house itself, but I will say it's a good time. There are parts that are pitch dark. There are people jumping out at you left and right trying to scare you. There are parts of the rooms that are set up to scare you. There are different themes throughout the haunted house. It's well done. My favorite area made it seem like you were wading through water, when you in fact were not. It was an optical illusion created through light. My words can't really do it justice. If you're not super scared of haunted houses, give it a try. You'll have a good time once you get in there! And after you survive all of the ghouls and demons, there's a food truck posted up outside if you're hungry.

This year, it had three exhibits: A fun house, and two haunted house/corn maze installations. In the fun house, visitors are prompted to wear 3-D glasses before a jaunt through a series of obstacles, flourescent paintings, and a few actors with a great sense of timing for jumpscares. I am sympathetic to the dismay of waiting in line for much longer than you'll enjoy the event, but the other two will easily make up for this. What surprised me about the corn mazes is just how long and winding they are--you might walk a couple miles in total when you're finished exploring. The actors were absolutely thrilling, and I loved watching them heckle passerbys who thought they were too cool for a fright. Even with a substantial number of participants, there was never a bottleneck or crowd, which really lets you enjoy the atmosphere. This entire excursion was a well-managed event, absolutely worth the cost of admission. I arrived at about 7 during a weeknight, and would recommend coming early to ensure you don't get caught up in all the foot traffic. You can also pay extra for a fast pass. However, instead of navigating through a maze, you simply follow a set path. The place seemed pretty empty overall, except for a long line at the central haunted attraction. After waiting over 40 minutes, we decided to get fast passes. By the time we returned with them, we were already at the front of the line. I highly recommend buying the fast pass right from the start to avoid waiting in line and then deciding to buy it later--it's worth it. One house had almost no wait, and the other would have had about a 30-minute wait, but we skipped it entirely with the fast passes. I imagine it will get much more crowded as October progresses. Unfortunately, the haunted attractions weren't scary at all. I only jumped maybe three times total. I also noticed that many of the actors weren't well hidden, so I saw them before they could jump out and surprise us. For that reason, I wouldn't return, but it's probably better suited for kids. One thing that surprised me was how cool it felt outside, even though it was around 87 degrees. Being out in the open made it feel much cooler. A heads-up: the parking area was extremely muddy, even though there hadn't been any rain. Our shoes were covered in mud by the time we got back to our car. Definitely bring something to put your muddy shoes in afterward or to cover your car's floorboards. They offer snacks like kettle corn, cotton candy (though they were out of it when we were there), alcohol (beer, wine, and hard seltzers), and more substantial food like burgers, hot dogs, nachos, and chicken tenders.
