FedEx picks up my return package yesterday Tuesday afternoon from my area zip code 10023 with a FedEx Ukrainian man who we see frequently came who don't speak an ounce of English and I'm not sure if he reported my returned package as picked up but another FedEx individual 24 hours later the next day which is today Wednesday knocks at my door claiming he had a pick up for my address and several minutes later a FedEx representative calls me about the same thing. What's wrong with the FedEx personnel that they aren't informed of packages. This is very unprofessional and unreliable for no reason whatsoever. read more

THIS LOCATION IS NOT CLOSED. In fact, saying they're closed is likely a tactic so they don't receive horrendous reviews. I'll keep it short- if you live in Manhattan DO NOT USE FEDEX. This is the location most FedEx packages travel through when coming into Manhattan. This center has lied on countless occasions that packages were delivered when they were not. They lost a 7,000 dollar furniture item and we had to jump through hoops to submit an appeal because it was marked as "delivered". Avoid this location; it isn't closed, it's hiding. read more

THIS LOCATION HAS NOT CLOSED AS ON TODAY 10/31/2018 If i could give it no stars I would. It has now been three packages I've requested through online customer service and the direct warehouse manager to hold the packager for delivery for either 1 day or 2 days. I dont see the harm in that. Every time they say it will be done and then my package gets put on the truck earlier. This is large pieces of furniture not just a package of clothes. I have no access to these packages until the day I asked them to hold it. So if they get delivered on the day I told them not to and stolen then thats fedexs fault and I will be filing a claim. I hate fedex so much simply for the fact that their employees will tell you its done and give you a sense of help and relief and then it wont really happen so now Im stuck with a mattress and dresser that I can't access. read more

Worst service ever. They "attempted to deliver package" while our door was wide open. The time stamp online is 12:34 PM and our office was open and I know our door was jammed open so I would've definitely seen them pass by! I called up customer service and they claimed someone would redeliver and call me back - nothing and since it was home delivery, I'm not getting anything till Tuesday now! This is complete BS! This has is the BIGGEST shipping joke I have ever experienced in my life! "Attempted Delivery" means, I'm-a-lazy-ass-delivery-driver-and-I-want-to-go-home-so-I'm-going-to-skip-delivery. Plain and simple. The initial delivery date was a Wednesday, and according to the tracking, the attempt was made at around 9:30pm...my wife and I were sitting on our stoop smoking between 9 and 10:30... Then the next day same deal, someone was home, but no one buzzed the door. Now, I should probably add here that with every call that was made to Fedex customer service the building's entry code was given. So the driver had a way to get into the building to make the delivery. Unless the moron was not able to use his fat fingers to press 5 keys on the keypad to enter the building, all indications show that the driver did not even bother to show up. Attempted delivery...what a joke. The final straw was Saturday...5:38pm yet another attempted delivery...at that exact time I was working on my computer on our dining room table, with a clear shot of the stairs leading up to our apartment entry. Oh, and also a no-parking zone right in front of our building where Fedex (Express), UPS and USPS park ALL the time. So unless the solar eclipse happened two days early and I was blinded I did not see a truck or a delivery person anywhere near our door. Let me add here that the package is large, about 6 feet long and about 40 pounds... I spoke to a couple of helpful folks over at Fedex who gave their reassuring words of lip-service...but as a result of whatever official complaints have been filed, etc. I will not be getting my package till Tuesday (since Fedex Ground only delivers Tuesday through Saturday). That is, if the driver bothers to stop by. So it takes a week for the package to get from East Elmhurst, Queens to Harlem. Oh, one of the absurd suggestions was that we pick up the large box that I'm expecting from the station. Obviously the customer service rep at Fedex doesn't live in New York City. A) very few people drive, B) a cab, or car service there and back will cost approximately $100...and of course Fedex won't flip that bill. This experience has been an utter JOKE. And the messed up part is that as a customer of Fedex expecting the package, they've got you by the balls, what option do you really have? None. But next time if I have to have something shipped, I am going to try my hardest to avoid using Fedex as a delivery method. I really can't wait till the driver eventually does show up, and see what his answer is when I ask him if he actually ever made an attempt to deliver the package, and why he didn't use the building code to enter? read more

am adding to my revview (see below) because, when I spoke to Fedex about the MIA Fedex guy yesterday, I escalated the call to a Jose, who told me he would file a report and someone would call me. And SOMEONE did! He checked to make sure they had the right address, he asked about my former address, I assured him I have a doorman and cc TV and no Fedex guy ever showed for the pickup -- I don't care WHAT his "report" says. The Fedex caller said he'd check into it and see what the problem is. 7 pm tonight -- the FEDEX GUY ARRIVES! It was all I could do to not say, "Glad to see you at work!" We are both lucky I was home, as I was given no notice, but now the rugs are out of my house and someone else's problem. I hope. Let's see if my refund comes through. ESCALATE THE CALL, people, until you find someone who has the power to initiate some sort of remedy. There are tiers of CS and you have to soldier through the bottom ones. THEY should escalate the call, themselves, but you never know what so of politics or relationships are in their office, so you have to insist. Original review: Same story as the rest. Had a pickup scheduled. Driver said he came at 1 pm, no package. Um. DUDE. I have a 24 hour doorman with security cameras. You. did. not. show. Company rescheduled the pickup for a day later. Same thing. Driver said he came at 7:00 pm. YOU DID NOT. My doorman laughs when I ask. He gestures at the camera and says, I can show you, no one came. And both "delivery windows" were 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. So I sat here, didn't go out, did not use my phone because I didn't want to miss the doorman saying Fedex was here. The rugs are still in my living room, leaning against the wall. The second time, I called Fedex at 4 pm and asked them to call the dispatcher and find out where the guy was. They said he'd be here within 2 hours. That was two hours ago. Now I have complained and escalated the call to the highest I could reach. (Just say "Please escalate the call to the United States. You've been great, but please escalate the call." Customer service jargon. ) I am supposed to get a call back within 48 hours. I'm not holding my breath. Meanwhile, how will the rug company get their rugs? I'm not waiting for Fedex anymore. They'll have to find a different carrier. I wonder what kind of Class Action suit we could all get together? That's a major windfall for some attorney. Because guys like this are doing this to people all day, every day. I lost two days of work waiting for Fedex, who didn't show. COMPENSATE me. read more

I would give this zero stars if I could! This facility should be shut down. The manager and its workers should be fired for being incompetent and not doing their jobs properly. After reading other reviews, I can see that I am not the only one who has experienced lying deliverers. The delivery man/woman did not knock on my door or leave a note tag as I was home all day waiting for my package. Then the delivery person lied and put a note in their system that "customer was not available". Due to the high levels of complaints and extremely low ratings, I'm assuming that the manager and workers know this has been going on for a while and doesn't care.
