    Huge super fries. $10.49
    Maria G.

It's been years since I've stopped at a Frederico's and things haven't changed a bit. I took to the drive through and found that old relic super fries. The food came out hot and fresh for what it was. A huge pile of fries topped with sour cream, guacamole, asada, and cheddar cheese. The classic Mexican red and green on the side. For $11 and change after tax it's a huge gut bomb made for the books. I'd have to put this in the category of drunk food... yep that's right, drunk food. Now I had my "meal" in the afternoon totally sober but I think it would have been better after a few cold ones. The breakdown of the super fries is as follows: Wins: - Hot crispy fries that are able to hold up to the toppings - The asada is surprisingly lean, no weird parts - Sour cream was solid, not thinned out - More than enough to share Opportunities: - The guac is premade and way to smooth - Asada could use some more seasoning - The cheese topping doesn't add anything since it's such a thin layer

    Carne asada taco (delicious)

My favorite early morning place to pick up lunch on my way to work. They open at 7am. The food is very tasty. The carne asada tacos are amazing. Big portions.

Asked for carne asada tacos and got this never go here plus they never said a word to me completely ruined my night

Should never go here asked for carne asada and got this never go here ruined my night for sure

"Rolled tacos with guacamole" comes with cheese and HUGE helping of guacamole

Food is ok but prices are too high. Service is ok but slow. Restaurant is brand-new but doesn't LOOK brand-new. Horchata from a machine, not homemade. :( It could just be new opening kinks that need to be worked out.

Burnt taste like shit. Covering up cashier with poster is stupid.

By this review. I hope everyone aware. They take card and covered by poster. Food taste like absolute sh--t. Burnt tortillas. I cancelled card and will never go there again. Very shady.

The tacos and overall atmosphere definitely deserve 5 stars. That said, I do miss the old salsa bar setup where you could enjoy as many salsas as you wanted for free. It's a little disappointing that the salsas are now an extra charge, especially since prices overall have gone up. Even with that change, the quality of the food and the experience keep me coming back.

The property just looks very culturally historic. Reminded me of my time in Mexico. As you walk in , there is a counter on the left to order your food. They offer fountain drinks as well as cold bottled beers. There is a salsa bar with maybe 10 salsas to try. I asked for recommendations, and was advised to try the taco 4 pack 2 pairs of meats of my choice. I got the carnitas and the barbacoa, with a side of rice and beans and chips , plus a fountain drink. The carnitas were absolutely fantastic. Tender, crispy and seasoned well. The barbacoa was juicy and tender as well. The chips were crispy but maybe not home made? Didn't matter, as the tacos were clearly the star. The beans were cheesy and the rice had carrots and peas and onions, and maybe corn. You get free refills on the fountain drinks. Mexican music played over the speakers and it was nice with it on or off. I feel like I found a gem. I didn't check the prices because it wouldn't have changed my mind. I later learned it was $31 for 4 street tacos, beans, rice, chips, and a fountain drink. Will I pay it again ? Gladly.

I stopped by for lunch and found the menu offered a nice variety of choices. I ordered the Los Ranchos Turkey sandwich with homemade chips and a Lavender Iced Tea. Both were flavorful, and the homemade chips were an unexpected treat. The iced tea was ready right away and was a refreshing complement to the meal. My sandwich arrived about 24 minutes after ordering, which may have been due to the lunch rush. Including tip, lunch came to about $30. While the price point felt a little high for the overall experience, the quality and flavor of the food helped balance that out. Overall, I enjoyed the food and appreciate having another locally owned option in the neighborhood.

Unfortunately, my take away was that the owners, maybe managers, are new in the restaurant management space. It feels like a lot of different ideas are happening but not converging as well as they could. The general impression I got was: confusion. A few specific issues stood out: * Friendly, enthusiastic counter service, but overworked, focused on too many tasks. * Drip coffee was not ready at 10 a.m. * About a 20-minute wait at the table for coffee to brew * Huevos were nicely presented but uneven in execution (papas flavorful but a little too salty, beans bland and unseasoned) * Outdoor seating is a nice idea, but tables felt small and cramped * Heavy direct sun on outdoor tables (limited shaded seating; north side might be worth exploring) * Exterior branding does not clearly communicate that this is a restaurant - feels more like branding for tattoo parlor/vapeshop/auto detailing * Overall concept feels pulled in too many directions * Menus are difficult to read (cramped text, color choice, and font) To the owners: I really hope you make this work. I would consider bringing in a consultant re service, hiring a graphic designer to up the branding/menu game, and focus on food consistency. It may be worth looking at books on customer service and restaurant psychology such as: * Service Design: From Insight to Implementation * The Science of Shopping * the Restaurant & Bar Marketing series by Erik Shellenberger I would love to delete this review and replace it with 5 stars in the future.

I asked for some more green sauce on the side, but the one that was brought out was still red. The sopaipilla was a little too big. Some came to put our name on the list, and others arrived later. Our wait was 1 hour. Not bad, we had some drinks at the bar while waiting. Mom had her margarita (classic), and I had a watermelon, cucumber margarita. I didn't really care for it, then switched to an IPA. My partner had the pina colada. But let's talk about how HUGE this place is. They have room after room after room. I walked around a bit and found a second bar further back. One of the rooms is sunlit, which would have been nice. But when they seated us (all 8 of us) we were in what I would consider the main room towards the front. Because of the high ceilings and vast amount of sunshine, the room feels big and airy. The one thing I would have liked is some rice to go with my beans. They serve potatoes with the beans. Huh? I ordered the shrimp tacos, which were good. The pinto beans that came with the meal were okay, and again....... the potatoes (I didn't eat them, my brother took them home for leftovers). He had the taco burger. Yes, taco burger. Really, it's a ginormous taco. Lol. He ate it. My niece had a huge burrito. The other niece had a salad. My partner has never had green chile, so we ordered that as a side. But...it's not green chile. I was confused. Oh, the salsa is spicy! She liked it, and although I kept eating it, I generally prefer a milder salsa. The chips were great! I actually came for the sopaipillas! They came towards the end and I drizzled mine with honey. They were just like Grandma's. Overall, the meal was okay. I kind of expected more, but Mom was happy. They gave all the Mother's a rose, which was nice. They also have a gift store on site where you can purchase their salsa, shirts, and other merchandise.

I had the house special chili ribs and the ribs aren't flavorful. There is no distinctive taste to these ribs but chilied. But since the chili is tasteless themselves, it doesn't contribute to the overall flavor of the ribs anyway. 2/5 Stuff sopadillas with beef is very large and filling. For the lunch menu, the price is rather affordable for how much food I ordered. The tastes? I can't tell because it is comparable to any other restaurants. Nothing really stands out to me. 4/5 The regular sopadilla with honey as a side dish is amazing and you can't really go wrong with sopadilla and honey 5/5. Chips and salsa is continuously refilled as requested. Overall service is average, with water refill being done per request, not automatically. I personally would take tourists here to experience the cute vibe of New Mexico that this restaurant gives: a cute brunch with the ladies, a nice hang out and gathering with friends.
