Posted and advertised hours are that it opens at 9AM. Hauled my large heavy package to the door at 9AM today (Friday) and the store was closed, no explanation. Gave up and went to breakfast, having to leave my package exposed to potential theft. Came back at 10AM. Still nobody there. Had to drive elsewhere to complete my FedEx transaction. read more

So I tried to call FedEx today because a shipment sent for Mother Day from my son was dropped off (literally Dropped at front door) by the delivery person. With no notice that he left anything just dropped the box not set it down to the ground. The box was big and the appliance inside was rattling around. I checked my ring camera's to see a large unmarked truck parked across the street and the deliveryman carrying the box as he walked through my front lawn instead of using my sidewalk. He was mumbling like he was talking to me but the door was closed so not sure why he was talking. The box was on its side not set down straight up and I was annoyed that he didn't even let me know it was there. No doorbell no knock no shout out no nothing. I had a packaged delivered the day before by UPS and the driver rang the doorbell and announced that he was delivering a package. I opened the door and he than stepped back to leave. Is there no professionalism with FedEx. Do they not get taught good customer service. Even with Covid there is still no excuse to mishandle packages being left at a residents and to just run over lawns with sprinklers that even the school students in our neighborhood know better than to do this. There's a sidewalk use it !!!!! Worst off to than call the customer service and phone is answered by automated voice like most business and there is no way to by pass to talk to a real person. When you try to complain online it is a virtual link that does not read what you write as well and goes no where. Perhaps FedEx doesn't care so they just do a shitty job and eventually people will be fed up and not use them any longer. Not Happy!!!!! read more

Dropped off a package around 3:00pm yesterday for over night delivery. When I checked this morning, the package had not been shipped. I went to the ship center and they could not locate my package so an associate and I had to look through a room full of packages until I finally found mine. I had to go drop it off to the FedEx facility in downtown. Very unprofessional, will not use their services again. read more

Sometimes at work, I just need a box shop. And Ship Smart in the UV is the place I turn every time this issue comes up. When I first needed to buy a large supply of boxes, my coworkers told me to order from Uline, but I wouldn't have it - I needed to look at boxes in person and get a feel for size and scale. Measurements on a catalog/web page weren't going to be enough for me. So off I scampered to Ship Smart, where I was helped by a friendly guy who reminds me somewhat of Ron Howard. (Not quite Opie Ron Howard, but not quite director Ron Howard of today - more like somewhere in between.) Box shop Ron Howard was patient and nice and didn't treat me like the dumb girl I am when I am sent on some wild goose chase to places like box shops or other exotic specialty locales, and as a result, my company purchased a couple hundred dollars worth of boxes. He was friendly, helpful, and didn't treat me like I was crazy - I was totally sold. So now whenever I need a box, personally or professionally, I visit Ship Smart. Not all that long ago I needed a framed photo packed for shipping to send to someone important and we didn't have good material at the office, so the package ended up looking like a bomb. Well, we couldn't have that, so off I ran to Ship Smart, where they not only told me what box would be sturdy and strong enough, but cut it down to size and packed it perfectly, and let us drop it off there for FedEx pickup. The package arrived safely, and we couldn't have been more pleased - it was so much better than the cobbled together packaging job my colleagues had done before, and thanks to Ship Smart, we all looked slick and professional for it. I know how crazy this review sounds, but I assure you - when you really need to pack something right, you'll feel as good as I do to have the right shop in your corner. read more

Please please please don't go here! My husband & I went to print 2 labels on their laser printer. The first print job, they printed on the wrong side so the ink smeared onto our labels. Mind you, these were super expensive, waterproof labels for honey jars that were $2/piece. But we decided to finish the order, so they printed the next sheet & it got completely destroyed by the printer because they didn't change the settings to indicate it was a specialized type of paper. The final order came out to 2 sheets (one side of which was printed incorrectly) & a completely ruined sheet. When I asked what was to be done about their botch job, the manager actually said we don't have to pay for the ruined sheet (wow...how gracious!) but we will have to pay for a print job they messed up on. The manager acted like there was nothing they could do about it, though the entire situation was totally due to their incompetence. They also charged for using 5 minutes of their computer, though half the time used was them trying to figure out what the hell they did wrong. Will seriously NEVER come here again read more

Came in here to ship an 80+ lb box. While carrying the box, the guy saw me and just watched me as I tried to open the door by myself. Paid for everything and he asked me to MOVE the box behind the counter for him. I don't mind moving it, however a helping hand would've been nice. read more

My friend and I came in to mail some stuff today. First they gave us a quote of $45 for overnite to DC. Two day shipping was $30 so my friend chose the latter. Then we left and she realized she needed it to be there asap so we decided to change it to overnite. When we went back in the worker changed and this one quoted us $69....So within a course of an hour or two the price went up $24 are you kidding me?!?!?! He evntually called the previous worker and apparently that guy was "giving us a discount". Eventually we got it to $49 which is still $5 more then the previous quote but oh well thats how the cookie crumbles. We also brought in our books to sell back. They previously said they take ALL BOOKS however when we came they picked through it and I had $400 worth of books and I got $110. So sad but thats around the rate i'd get anywhere else so oh well...lesss stuff for me to move back home. However they also gave me some cute pink headphones and a package of powerbars (hahahaha) for selling my books. I think you have to sell a certain amount to receive the headphones though because my friends book amounted to $25 and she only got the powerbars which she declined! read more
