I was so excited to get my windows tinted after buying my first non-mom car in 28 years. I checked reviews here on yelp and received quotes from 3 vendors. I chose Mikes because they had the most thorough response and seemed really professional. However, three visits later, I have had the worst experience with the Riverside location. I chose the top of the line ceramic tint and paid $1,500. It was a lot but I wanted the best since I knew I would not buy another car in 10 or more years. The initial install was pleasant enough. I asked questions regarding a couple of bubbles I saw before I left and was assured by Erick that they would disappear after the moisture evaporated. Some did, lots did not. (See initial install photos) I went back to have the back and rear windows redone. The bubbles were worse on the back and on one of the triangle windows. (See 1st reinstall showing dust particles and bad cuts pics) Also, the clarity in the rear window was poor. (See light glares in rear window pic) I was told that it could be due to an astigmatism or the defroster lines. What?! Thinking that the 3rd time would be the charm I went back again for another fix. This time it seems they just made a complete mess of the backseat, the floor mats and carpet top behind the seats. This is a new car. It was pristine when I gave it to them. (See pics of goo and backseat mess). Also, there are still lots of dust bubbles along the back window worse than the second install . (see 3rd install pics which was Sat. July 12, 2025). I don't know what to do anymore. I spent so much money and each time I bring my car back I'm told, "this never happened before" only to leave with it looking worse! I'm beyond frustrated. It's supposed to be a 10 year warranty but I don't have it in me to keep going back wasting my time and energy. They didn't bother to walk the car after each install except the time that I asked and was assured that things would evaporate. I even walked back in after the third install and the front counter was empty. I just left and saw the backseat damage once I got home. I would never recommend this business to anyone. My daughter, my husband and my son were looking to get their cars done. They will be looking elsewhere. read more

As of now I've had three of my personal cars tinted by Mike's tint shop, as well as my mom, dad and sister's cars. They've always done a good job at a good price, however, my most recent experience they went above and beyond. I bought a brand new EV9 and its first stop was to Mike's tiny shop. However, upon pick up, I noticed a pretty large door ding. The owner actually came down to the shop, looked over cameras with me, and even though we were unable to find where the door ding might've occurred, he had his team take care of the door ding absolutely free of charge. I made an appointment about a week ago after looking around the internet . I choose MTS cuz there was one in riverside by me . Unfortunately when they message me to confirm for the corona location I told them that I thought I made it for the Riverside location . They informed me that it closed about two months ago . I was a little disappointed cuz I live by the 215 and didn't want to drive all the way into corona . MTS was understanding of the situation and asked if I wanted to reschedule. I decided to stick with my appointment due to the fact that MTS was able to work with me on pricing . When I got to the store it was clean and the gentleman ( I think his name was Eric , I could be wrong ) went over again the pricing and I agreed to tint darkness and heat blocker he recommended . MTS ran out of the heat blocker I asked for so they upgraded it for free . The price they told me when I dropped it my truck off was the same with the upgrade heat blocker . MTS didn't try and push me on any up sales and was okay with the originals items I picked out before the free upgrade due to them running out of material . I would take my next car there . Got my windshield tinted. Worker was nice and accommodating. Seemed like they take first come first serve even if you have an appointment. Took about 2 hours for the windshield, not too long. Be aware they charged 3.99% (almost $20) to use my credit card. It just so happens that they might ask for clarification regarding the response. When an employee says, "That's what I said, too bad". These guys are top notch! I'm not a car gal, but I got a ticket for improperly tinted windows and had no idea what to do. I bought the car used and had no idea my tint was too dark. I took my car to Mike's and they got the tint off super quick. The shop was VERY clean, they had comfortable seats to wait in, and my windows are now tint-free for almost nothing at all price wise.
