Lied about "attempted delivery". Then claimed that a "vacation hold" was placed. There was no attempted delivery and I never placed a vacation hold. The package is two days late and despite a customer service rep filing a claim ticket, purportedly, the status on the website still says "vacation hold". I'm writing this review since I feel that customers only come here when they need to complain. I needed to ship golf clubs that were given to me by late father and were therefore obvioulsy very important and invaluable to me. They became lost after dropping them at a shipping center due to the label falling off. After weeks of filing claims and dealing with the unhelpful call center, I found the information for this facility. My call was taken by Rene, and she took it upon herself to locate the clubs in the mess of packages, confirm they were mine, and get them shipped out to me later that day! I missed work to sign for a "signature required" package. I saw the fedex truck pulled up in front of my house I stood on my porch to wait for the fedex guy to hand me the package, when suddenly he just drove off! Baffled, I checked my tracking to make sure that it was my package in fact that he was supposed to deliver.. sure enough the status on my tracking said "attempted delivery will try again the next day". I was livid for I had to miss work to wait for this package so I called the fedex customer service to file a complaint. They gave me a case number and within couple hours the supervisor from the Fairfield location called and apologized and will call me shortly to give me an update if my package can still be delivered. Did not hear from the supervisor until the next day (which I had to miss another day of work) in afternoon around and said that my package will arrive within 3 hours(5pm). I tried to stay reasonable and said ok I understand. Now it's almost 8pm still no package left couple voicemails to the supervisor..crickets! Now I feel like not delivering my package is intentional and they are doing it out of spite only because I filed a complaint. Terrible fedex branch warehouse. Keeps delivering to the wrong address and I am unable to retrieve the packages. If I call FedEx to have the driver redeliver to the correct address they say that I do not have authority to request the package be shipped to the CORRECT address. FedEx is a mess. read more

Paid extra to be able to schedule a specific delivery tome. It was not delivered on time. Called customer service to get a new time and was told only that it would be delivered by end of day. It requires an adult signature, so I need to be around all day since they won't tell me when it will arrive. Asked about a refund of the extra fee, didn't get an answer. Asked for a supervisor, got put on hold and left there for 15 minutes. Then she tells me contradicting info from the email I got and that now my package won't be sent out till tomorrow, even though the email said it was already out for delivery. read more

At 12:51pm, it was then noted as a delivery exception with a new delivery Today is 9/29/21, I have been waiting for a package, again, that was suppose to have been delivered on 9/22/21. I am still waiting. I received a status update today, telling me that my package was delivered at 6:09 pm. Well, I was home and no package is here. All I get is the run around from customer service, as to where my package is at. As far as I'm concerned, the driver is either lazy or marked it delivered and stole it. I've had multiple items shipped with FedEx over the last month (not by my choice) and every one of them has been stuck at this location for over a week. It says it is on schedule to arrive early from across the country and then every single one is routed through this Fairfield location and ends up getting stuck here with no shipping updates or anything. They lie nearly every time about attempted delivery when there was no attempted delivery. If you're a business or want your package to arrive when promised, DO NOT USE FEDEX. Called yesterday to tell them that there was no attempted delivery and they promised it would be delivered today (Sunday). Just called to see if that too was a lie and it sure was. They said it'll be delivered Monday- but the liar I spoke to yesterday originally (before telling me she got it out for delivery today) told me that it was rescheduled to be delivered Tuesday. Worst shipping company ever. Makes three attempts at the same time daily while we are at work. No way to divert to a local pick up. Final delivery slip isn't at all filled out so I have no idea where it was. Phone service is horrid and even resolution department blows smoke you know where. I have never dealt with such incompetent service and this is far from the first time. Now I have to take an hour and a half out of my day, pay a bridge toll and gas so I can get my package because FedEx doesn't send the missed package to a local center. One week after the delivery day, I got a call from a guy from Fedex ground Fairfield, he didn't gave me his name and gave me a totally different tracking number. So I call back to Fedex to see if I could go there pick it up or change delivery address, this lady on the phone said the tracking number is incorrect She was completely rude, because my tracking number for some reason is not in the system and I don't have the name of the guy who called me. I know without that info they can't look up for it, but being rude while I was just trying to figure out where my package was and I didn't treat her badly. Just terrible customer service. Fed X as other stated I cringe when something is shipped Fed X. Delivery from Ohio 60# package was supposed to be delivered by 2.25.22, no updates since the package left Ohio on 2.22. I have called the 800 number 2x and lied to, said my package would arrive the next day. Another delivery earlier was also delayed. My desk is at my front window and the update said no one home, the driver never got out of his truck. I called the 800 number and the package was delivered by hand later that day. Many other delays on other packages. Also when you call the 800 number I think it goes to an India call center, very hard to understand most of the operators. My last call, I could hear someone in the background telling the operator what to say, or lie about. read more

Ugh i seriously hate when a company uses fedex as the shipping carrier. If i know a company uses fedex i ask if it can be delivered by ups or another company. If its not possible i don't order through that company. The drivers don't know how to read addresses, they can't seem to actually deliver a package to the correct house. Or heres a good one. I was not only home both days, I was on my driveway when the driver went to a neighbor's house (first day) and spoke to the driver on the second day. He claimed that, although his computer indicated he had a package to deliver to me, it was not on his truck. I HATE FedEx! Every time a package is shipped to us via FedEx it does not arrive on time. We have had plants die because of delayed delivery. However, the latest takes the award. We waited all day for a delivery - we literally were sitting in the front room looking out the window at our porch. At 3:31 received a "Delivery Exception" saying no one was home so they couldn't delivery. Talk about a lie!!! There were construction trucks in front of our house for the neighbors, and obviously the driver didn't want to have to park and have to walk two houses down to delivery. Deliver was scheduled today and we were gone, but our housekeeper was here. The driver asked for her ID and then refused to leave it because she wasn't the name on the package. It was wine for pete's sake and the only requirement was an adult had to sign for it. She's a grandmother - I promise she is over 21. The most frustrating & infuriating experiences waiting for ANY package that comes through this location. I do a lot of online shopping/shipping for my business & Fed Ex has gotten so bad that i will not order from any of my suppliers that ship with them. The tracking information is never accurate, just says "on a truck, out for delivery" ALL DAY, they never show up, and at end of day changes to "pending". This happens each & every day, for easily a week, usually longer! It makes me insane. When im expecting something, usually with a client waiting for an item, to be told its coming, just to have it not show up day after day, is just totally unacceptable. In addition, ive caught them lying & saying they attempted delivery but no one was available so it went back to Fairfield. Absolute lie! my car was backed into by a FedEx truck on 5-22-21, my experience with this company has been frustrating, I sent them all the info they asked for and i get know response. they don't return my emails or calls, i call the adjuster directly and it goes to voice mail not a one has called back, the driver that backed into my car took off, i had two neighbors seen it happen, i took off on my bike trying to find him, no luck. about a hour later he came back to drop off a package and my brother in law caught him trying to leave again, so i go outside and talk to the driver and he admitted hitting my car, i got pictures of the truck and damage his license and sent them to FedEx and there just ignoring me, what the driver did was hit and run, which is a Felony, i didn't call the police being a nice guy, he said he would take care of it, the company told him they would take care of it. the amount of time i have in on this is crazy. phone calls emails, its very unprofessional and disrespectful, Im in the process of making a video of my experience with FedEx and i'm going to post it on youtube, facebook and insta-gram and i've told them i'm going to do it. Same as many others on here, they claim to attempt a delivery but never even come by. Package is going to be returned to sender in Georgia tomorrow when they pull the same thing. I rearranged my whole weekend to be around when they came for delivery. In the past they've left very expensive electronics packages in the rain, done the same of claiming to attempt or even claiming to deliver a package that never came. Even had them come back with the package still on the truck after they say they delivered it. FedEx is actually the worst delivery service known to mankind, giving them 1 star is the nicest thing I can possibly do for them.
