They have held up my package for a week in their Tracy facility and haven't delivered it. It was originally supposed to arrive Sunday, 3 days ago. It was out for delivery again today and never came. When I called I was assured it would arrive by 8 pm today. It never came. I called back and was told they were closed and I could not get an update. Delayed packages multiple times. Not very reliable. They shpuldclose this facility. It gives Fedex a bad name.

For over a year now, EVERY package I've had shipped to me Via FedEx that passes through Tracy gets delayed for numerous days with no updates. The most recent example is an order from Sonos speakers in Southern California. In October, I made an order which was routed through Stockton instead of Tracy and it arrived in two days. My recent order was routed through Tracy and it has been in "transit" at Tracy for over two days already. From prior experience, I know this can last for a few days to a few weeks. My wife and I have began to dread seeing an email come in from an order with a FedEx tracking number. The lack of logistical knowledge at the Tracy depot alone has permanently caused me to lose faith in the company. This isn't a "labor shortage" in the area. UPS, USPS, Amazon, and OnTrac all have no problems getting packages to my doorstep on or before the estimated delivery date. I wish major distributors and marketplaces would start using other companies or offering me a choice between UPS or FedEx. read more

I hate to jump on the bandwagon but this is the third time in 3 months that parcels are missing. As with all parcels, they landed in the Tracy equivalent of the Bermuda Triangle called FedEx Tracy Hub. Very disappointed with Fed Ex. By far they are the worst shipping and customer service company. I know things are rough with Covid and the December holidays, but that doesn't excuse a big corporate giant company like Fed Ex to practice horrible customer service. I ordered a package from a company and they used Fed Ex as the shipper. The company used Fed Ex on the 15th to send my package from Southern Cali to the Central Valley Cali, where I am. As I am writing this on the 30th of December, I still have not received my package. Mind you, the package isn't coming from another country or another state even, but within the state of California, from one city to another. I kept daily checking the Fed Ex tracker app, which would say I should be getting the package by a certain day, nothing would come. The scheduled day would expire and nothing would come. I called the Fed Ex customer service line and spoke to two different reps on two different days who said my package would be here on certain days. Those days passed and still nothing there. I called again on my way home from work and a different rep said that it showed on her end that my package had been delivered. But of course when I got home, nothing was there. I called once again and asked if I could go pick up my package from their location in Tracy, where my package was being held. But the rep said no customers can go to this location, they can't even call the location directly and the rep could not give out the internal Tracy number. The rep even put me on hold and said she would call the Tracy location, she put me on hold, but said she couldn't reach the Tracy location. But she would keep trying and call me back. I never received a call back of course. By this time Christmas was in a matter of days, so I patiently waited for Christmas to come and go and would call Fed Ex customer service again the Monday after Christmas if my package still hadn't showed up. Of course, still no package. And on the tracker app it showed "no delivery scheduled" So beyond frustrated, i called customer service again, and demanded to speak to a supervisor or manager. The rep was honest with me and told me he was not at a call center, he was working from home, and had no supervisor to transfer me to. He also said he was pretty sure that my package was lost, since several days had gone by and the tracker still showed "pending" and "no scheduled delivery" I angrily asked why several different Fed Ex reps told me different things. And the rep said honestly those other reps lied to you, they just told you what you wanted to hear so that they could get me off the phone! He said I would have to call the original company who I ordered the package from and they would have to file a claim with Fed Ex. So I called the company. They called Fed Ex. The lady at the company said Fed Ex gives more information to them as the shipping company, but doesn't to the customer (unbelievable!) So after she contacted Fed Ex she said Fed Ex told her they would email the Tracy location for an update and someone from Fed Ex would get back to me. I have an email, why couldn't the Tracy location email me directly?? Meanwhile she filed a claim for me. As of the 30th today, Fed Ex didn't contact me (what a surprise) but they now show on the tracker app that my package is loaded on a vehicle and that I should get it "by the end of the day on the 31st" tomorrow. By this time I have little faith in anything Fed Ex tells me, but since I got the company i ordered the package from involved and claim filed, I'm hoping this will all be over tomorrow. I went on Fed Ex website to file a complaint, but of course, they have no section to do that anywhere on the website. This is totally unacceptable, Fed Ex by far is the very worst shipping company. I've never ever had these problems with UPS or the USPS. I never ever want to deal with Fed Ex ever again! 1-1-21 Update, I did finally get my package today, after almost 3 weeks of waiting. I work for a global company that spends millions of dollars with FedEx annually. I receive packages pretty often for work at my home with both UPS and FedEx. Both companies have very large trucks that camp out at our distribution centers in Costa Mesa and Illinois. I've been with the company for over 16 years and in that time FedEx has done SUCH a poor job. UPS (even through the pandemic) had a way better on time percentage than FedEx did. I had a very important package that I was expecting of tooling that was to be used in the manufacturing of equipment for Covid testing and FedEx lost it. Put my customers weeks behind. I was livid and so was the customer. Tough to forgive them for that one. I have over 2800 customers in the Bay Area and I have notes in our system for each of our customer service reps to NOT use FedEx as a shipper to any of my accounts. read more

What is going on at FedEx in Tracy, CA?? I've had multiple packages showing received at Tracy that end up sitting there for 3 or more days before they show "on vehicle for delivery". I have contacted both FEx and the vendor I order from, however, FEx cannot answer why the items aren't loaded to be delivered, and the vendor cannot choose how the package is routed through the FEx system once it's picked up. I called the seller who bent over backwards to help me and she sent another order which I received. Waited outside patiently for 1 HOUR. 1 HOUR! Time wasted to be told through voicemail they didn't have it and need to pull it and to reschedule for pickup the next day. Also told to call to reschedule, called then a total of 32x. And they still don't pickup. I wish I could choose which company delivers my packages, never had issues with any other but fedex. This location clearly needs to be investigated. More than 25 negative reviews for missing/undelivered packages in less than 60 days. And now here's one more. My package arrived in Tracy on 6/02. It shows "On FedEx vehicle for delivery" on 6/03. On 6/09 it shows "Arrived at FedEx location". It shows "Arrived" again on 6/10. It shows "at local FedEx facility" on four additional scans. Then on 6/16 and 6/17 it shows "Arrived" again.Then three more scans showing it "at local facility". As of today, 7/2 customer service has not given me any new information, despite my package being scanned today. I filed a claim. We'll see what comes of it. read more
