I stopped by this morning, 7/1, at around 10::30am, and the two associates were so nice and welcoming. I'd recommend it.

Their store manager and employees are beyond arrogant. Had a busted hand and needed help shipping gifts for Christmas. Refused to use my wrapping paper and said no store in this country had a SKU for that (with conceit). Anyway, called the UPS store around the block, and they were happy to fulfill my order/help me with the wrapping. "Found my SKU"! Do yourself a favor, and go to any other UPS or FedEx Store. read more

During the Day time, on the weekend, I used the services. Inside is very Clean. It was pretty Empty. If you're using A copy machine, you'll need a card. They don't have stationeries like other stores have. I didn't find a stationary I wanted to buy. So you can't expect this store have everything you need. read more

Printers and copiers don't work. A great place to waste your time waiting for their devices to connect to the internet they can function. I was there for half an hour waiting for non existent retrieval codes while I received other emails confirming my bandwidth wasn't the issue. When I ran a red light, they honked their horn to chase me away again. I have a child in the car. They do not help you in any way and do not care about you. They could not leave my package at the opposite building and I went to the post office and they said that my package was returned. When I told them that it did not come home, they said that they did not know. My package had to return. They said that they came home because of them and they did not come. Copying my review from google: Taneisha helped me from start to finish. I needed assistance 4-5x; my CC didn't swipe we needed to change terminals, to boxing, printing my shipping label bc I didn't have ID on me,to shipping. Each time I needed help she was more and more courteous. Typically you except a snarky reply if you need a lot of help, however, she turned an irritating errand into a pleasurable experience. I've only ever used this location to print shipping labels from my phone, so I can't speak to their other services or staff (because the printers are operated by the customers, not the staff). I've found it to be very quick and convenient and 22 cents to print a black & white shipping label seems reasonable (although I remember when it was 10 cents!) The space is small and I've seen it jam-packed with people & boxes. I'm sure I will use their shipping services sometime in the future and will update my review when I do. read more

Just left this location. The clerk in the first visit (tattooed dude) lied straight into my eyes about the cheapest rate to send a package identical to one sent in January. Tried to charge me $42 initially, he backed down and claimed that the cheapest rate was ground@$18.64 plus $2.29 for an envelope = $21.13. Got home, found the January receipt for $13.95 at the One Rate rate, which they did not offer me today until...I went back a 2nd time after finding my January receipt and after ten minutes they admitted it could have been sent today at exactly...$13.95 but that they already had picked up the ground shipments and that I could call customer service. Doing a 180 on my thoughts regarding this FedEx location. Think the entire staff needs a refresher on customer service skills. There's only ONE employee there who knows what she's doing. Two of the employees are nice. The rest are horrible. They act as if they're doing you a favor. If you only need one minor thing printed or shipped, then they're fine. If the job takes more effort, forget it. One of the assistant managers was especially rude. Besides talking over me, she completely wasted my time. After relaying my concerns it was like talking to a grimy brick wall. Why was she had that assistant manager position, I'd never know. Oh, and they rip you off. Avoid at all costs. Came here over the weekend so my sweetheart could make a few copies of something important on nice, cardstock paper. Upon walking in we were helped immediately and the guy at the counter was friendly, efficient and FedEx's pricing was reasonable. They have computer workstations here if you ever need to hop in and do something that your smartphone isn't capable of, print out anything and they have a variety of stationary, greeting cards and office-related knick knacks. They also have several types of printers and copiers in case that you need to reproduce lots of copies of something, blow something up into a larger image or print out different sizes of signs on different types of papers. Good stuff - I'll definitely be back for all my printing/copying/packaging needs. read more

I really like the employees at this location but there are simply not enough. Every single time I come in, there is only 1 person working there.... and the line is nearly out the door. This is obviously not the employees fault because they cannot control the influx of people coming in at any given time.... BUT FEDEX NEEDS MORE PEOPLE IN THIS STORE!! It's absolutely ridiculous that the ONLY FedEx office in this side of Queens has lines out the door and only 1 individual available to service an entire part of Queens. Unless you want to take a trip into Manhattan or into Forest hills, expect to wait forever. I can't even be angry at the employees as I've personally had to endure standing in line, while watching horrible people insult these FedEx guys, making the situation even more unpleasant and delaying lines even more. So you have overworked employees (honestly, FedEx, this seems like abuse considering the foul customers who aren't as nice as I am) and pissed off customers (rightfully so) ... and you call this a business? I've even heard Employees endure racial slurs... RACIAL SLURS... all because the amount of people in that place, especially in the evenings and some mornings, is obscene. Anyway... run for the hills or use the Post Office or heck... even the UPS store. This place is a hot mess. Soon enough they'll go out of business... because there is no way this 1 employee per shift method is sustainable. And definitely no way I'll be returning there willingly. read more

My recommendation for places like this is to always go as early in the day as possible to avoid crowds/get everything out of the way. Dave was super kind and helpful when I shipped out Christmas gifts. He explained all of the shipping options and verified addresses multiple times. I received a damaged box via fedex and upon shipping it back, they told me that it does not meet fedex standards and asked ME to pay for damages their shipping service inflicted. They showed almost zero remorse and I had to pay $25 to ship a box THEY damaged. I'm not typically a bad yelp reviewer but this place sucks. read more

This is the worst place ever! I just need to send one document. The most basic simple request a fedex could do. Turns out the online system doesn't work but still charge my credit cards repeatedly. Half hour later the staff said call customer service for help. Then I called and filled up all the delivery information over and over and over over and still doesn't work. The whole process is sooo frustrating and I was hours late for dinner. Then the staff at the store said closing now. The staff in the store and customer service are useless. This location is very convenient for me to visit, and I visit it often enough. I love the self serve copy machines. I'm a huge fan of do-it-yourself things because I just like to go in and get my business done. You can use your FedEx/Kinkos card if you have money on it, or you can just use a debit or credit card. The machines are easy to use and, at risk of sounding really dorky, I love that they have complimentary use of glue sticks, white out, pens, post-its, paper clips, staplers, and paper cutters! I've also had several documents scanned and loaded onto thumb drives here. Although I've encountered a long line or two, the service has always been great. The employees are friendly and always work as quickly as they can. They offer me a receipt and say thank you every time. I know it may not seem like such an important thing, but a quick thank you can really go a long way. read more

This particular Fed Ex Office stinks. The self serve kiosk screens next to the copiers were not working and connecting properly. Also, the actual copy machines were old and outdated. These antiquated and worn copiers were leaving streak marks on the copies that I was making. The copies, in itself, were shi*tty looking, but I had no choice because I was pressed for time. The place seemed understaffed and overwhelmed. However, the young woman who did help me initially was friendly and courteous, but certainly NOT adept to handle the technical complaints. She simply did not have the time to devote to help me personally because there were too many customers whom she was tending to as well. Bottom line: Unless this particular FedEx Office gets better self-serve, state-of-the-art copiers, I don't recommend this place at all. read more

I just want to clarify that it's great to have a FedEx location within walking distance from the subway. However, as other reviewers have stated, the wait time to get any help is ridiculously long. This is because there are only one or two employees present. I remember the days when there were more employees and the service was still just the same as it is now. And that's only if their equipment/machines aren't breaking down every now and then, especially when they're needed the most. I wish I could give the FedEx employees more credit, but they seem unable and quite unwilling to multitask, for example, if bringing up information on the computer is taking some time, instead of waiting, ask the next customer what they need and complete it. Now that's customer service! However, there are times when customers have ridiculous requests which take up more than 15 to 20 minutes, especially when there's a long line. Really, old man? The print quality of your greeting cards aren't good enough? Go purchase them, plenty of great quality cards out there. Next! I was assisted by Tenisha. There was no sense of urgency. I was Waiting 15 mins in line. She did not even help me with my prepaid label. She Couldn't scan it and handed it back to me stating you need to get a better label after waiting in line and having full conversations with the employee. This is the closest full service Fedex Office near my apartment. Right on Steinway past Broadway. There is usually metered parking in front available and if not, the parking lot (also metered) is just beside it. The desk/register area isn't large however they usually manage to have three workers servicing the customers. The workers are very friendly and helpful when picking up a package or supplies or dropping stuff off. I come to this location about 4 days a week to ship or pickup packages and I have nothing negative to say. Would be nice if the space or service area was bigger however they still staff it with as many people as a larger space would have. Thanks for helping me out every week! read more

At Christmas, I expect long lines at FedEx-type places. So when I visited in mid-December to receive a package and the line was almost to the door, I summoned every ounce of patience I had and stood in that line, which moved slowly, but I attributed that to customers who have no idea what to do or what they wanted. Happens so often. When it was my turn, I saw how mopey and surly the staff was. Almost everyone on line was complaining about it. I was asked for state ID to get my package. I showed them my passport instead - it was all I had on me. "This is not state issued," the kid "helping" me said, and passed the passport back and called out, "NEXT!" I emphasize, this kid was probably 16 or 17, and I hate when these gum-smacking, over-gelled children think they know best. "Um, yes, I know this. It's government ID, and that should work," I explained. "Hmph. Fine," he says. He went in the back and rummaged for the package for about 15-20 minutes, during which time I heard him on the phone complaining loudly to his boy about having to work on Saturday. I get not liking your job, believe me. But there's a trick to that - don't blame it on your clients/customers, and certainly do not complain about it in front of customers. Really, who interviews these kids and gives them a job? Does FedEx save their good employees for the weekdays? Anyway, I did get my package, so FedEx serves its purpose. All in all, it took me about an hour to get it. But holy shit, there are really good people who need jobs. Please stop hiring these idiots. read more

I went there to drop off a package and obtain a receipt for it. Despite it being a Saturday evening, there was quite a line and decently long wait. It's a shame that someone is not devoted to quickly checking in packages that are completely ready for receiving. Similarly, a bunch of the people in line were just waiting to pick up items, but we all had to wait for the people who needed packaging services or help with the computer rentals. The service was very polite and seemed to be working diligently. I just think they need another staff member or a different approach that has one person working on pick-ups and drop-offs, while the other attends to more laborious needs. read more

Went there today with the tracking number sent to my iPhone, along with my drivers license to pick up my FedEx envelope. The gentleman who entered my information, brought it to me, in his hands, viewed my I.D, again then proceed to give me a hard time asking additional questions. I do believe he was pulling a power trip out of thin air with no justification. I have been at this location several times picking up envelopes with no issues. I had everything that was required. He was rude, and very unprofessional. He would not give me my package. I asked several times why he was giving me a hard time? He then handed my envelope to another customer service rep who immediately had me sign and released my envelope it to me. I came close to losing it but held my composure. I will follow up with a letter to the home office. His behavior was unjustified, and will file a formal complaint with his manager. Not sure why the low star ratings. I have always gotten great, patient service there whether I was sending or picking up an item that was to be held for me there. Note that it's also super easy to get a cab from that location if you're picking up something bulky/heavy. Shipping really is this location's business. If you need use of a computer, etc, they have those too but note that this isn't their core business. I like the fact that they are also very close to the subway, and have very good hours. read more

My go-to shipping location! The environment is great, if you have to print something the process is so easy to email whatever it is your printing to their set email address & you only pay about 16 cents per print job. They leave scissors and tape out incase you need for boxing/shipping up whatever it may be. The workers here are great, friendly, quick and reliable! They make the process very easy unlike USPS... I prefer FedEx 100x over them. I receive a tracking receipt & they easily have all sizes of boxes for convenience, I am very happy with this location. read more
