Tony & his team are lifesavers. I had an important multi-copy, 42-page PowerPoint color presentation to deliver in record time (email not an option) to a business in Pennsylvania. Being able to send it to Copyland Center @ 226 East 83rd Street (10 blocks from my NYC home) in advance and walk-in to pick it up/review the same day was a joy. Bonus: They also coordinate with shipping services for pickup in their store. In my case, I opted to walk the one-block to a nearby FedEx as I had a next day by 12 pm delivery deadline. That meant that my presentation had to be in FedEx's hands ready to go (packaged, addressed & paid for) no later than 5 pm the day before for overnight delivery. It was 4 pm. Overpriced. Quoted 10c / copy and they tried to charge 50c/ copy. They ended up honoring the .10c but still grossly overpriced as it was 5000 pages, took three weeks and ended up costing $641 (once they honored original quote. Initially they tried to charge $3k, then $1500k and so on) read more

Copyland is terrific. It's my go-to for printing in the city. After trying numerous other options, I can tell you that Copyland is the fastest, the least expensive, and the most convenient. There's literally no reason to go elsewhere. They do everything. Most recently, I went to print out 6-10 pages worth of tickets. The whole process took less than three minutes and cost $2. In front of me, a woman was printing out photos for her mother's funeral. She cried when she received the pictures. Behind me, someone else was printing out a hard copy of their immigration paperwork. The whole experience was strangely intimate, but very New York. This place is the best! These guys helped me pull off several important printing jobs for an event I was producing with a very short timeline. I did quotes of several other online and in-store options in the neighborhood, and their rates and turnaround time were unbeatable. It was convenient that they were open after checking several Rite Aides in the area that they were unavailable to take my passport photo. The guy had some boxes and whatnot that needed to be moved in the passport photo area but I was ok with waiting as there was no one there. The picture looked ok but asked him if it was fine he said "yes it looks good". My passport application came back rejected. Just let customers know to save time and money. read more

Very small and crammed, but convenient copy center with a couple of computers. I passed by this place a dozen times and never noticed until YELP led me here. This place is awesome if you need Passport Photos quick. We were in & out in 5 minutes with two passport size photos in our hot little hands for $8.75. Really absurd printing prices and confusing practices. There were three different prices listed for a Black and white copy. Had to argue with cashier on this. I told them I wouldn't come back and they need to adjust their prices to be more in line with standard practices, otherwise they'll be closing very soon. Unsure about other services as I only came in to print a few pages. read more

I ordered $50 worth of color prints for t-shirts logos and book samples. I found Copyland staff courteous, attentive, patient and fair in pricing. Just make sure you are clear as to what you want and that you have a clear idea of your work's setup before the copying begins - it can add up quickly. The location is a bit cluttered with supplies and three workstations but not dirty. The location did have AC on when I was there...but you really can't complain for the prices you're charged.
