I have used Lex Pack & Ship for years and they have always been extremely good and very professional. But I am writing this review today because of a truly fantastic job they just did helping me ship some family heirloom silver pieces cross country. I was extremely nervous about shipping these pieces but Irma assured me about the process and how they would handle the shipment. She handled everything from wrapping the pieces, packing them in the box, making sure I had the right insurance and speed of delivery, etc. Everything was perfect. I needed my passport photo taken properly so I called ahead and asked if they knew what was required. They told me to come right in. I had already had one passport photo disaster, so I willingly walked 25 minutes for a much better experience. Everyone at Lex Pack and Ship is so friendly and kind. Although a lot was going on in the small shop when I arrived, within minutes a background screen from the ceiling was drawn and an excellent picture resulted. 2 perfect photos were given to me and I was on my way. They are polite here, but their good manners comes with an extra cost, because they charge an exorbitant amount! They even add on a surcharge for dropping off UPS parcels and a big 20% or so add-on to USPS and other shipments. I highly recommend you go directly to the US Post Office a block away or Fedex or UPS itself. However, if you ask the store staff how much surcharge there is compared to going to your regular FedEx/ US Post office, they will answer you honestly. You can go to this store if you have lots of money to throw away but I suppose you get good service! read more

The rudest service. I was in this location 5pm 9/14 and sought to get my mail, the person working, a gentleman with a pony tail said "it's your mail not our business" when I asked him about a lost package. I asked him to check and the package was atop a shelf. I work with artists and they saved the day when my art shipper fell through on a pickup for the biggest annual art fair. I sent my client to LPS four days before she needed to get her large canvases to Miami, and LPS not only packaged it all up at a great rate - quickly!! - they also helped us make it fit into the correct dimensions that would save us hundreds of dollars with FedEx. I did this with all my Thank You cards for my wedding (they even sorted the ones that needed extra postage) and my Christmas returns - I basically just handed them the product. I needed to ship a box Prestige S3 (35 macarons) from Laduree to Georgia, overnight. The employee was very helpful. He busted out the measuring tape and measured the gift bag and Laduree box, then suggested the best packaging box. He went on to package everything for me including placing air bags to protect the macarons and taped it very well (he had asked if it was fragile and surprisingly didn't know what macarons were). All I had to do was write the recipient address and pay. Great service. Would definitely do business with again. If you're wondering, my total was $89.22 for FedEx Standard Overnight which included the packaging service ($7). All this for macarons. Sheesh! :p read more

I have used the services of Mailbox Etc. for 10 years or so, and love the team and services they offer. Irma, who runs the place is the best, as are the rest of the staff. Since I live in a townhouse and have no doorman, I send all my mail and deliveries here. I also use their packing and shipping services every week, and on occasion, their shredding machine. Their customer service is fantastic, (including getting automated emails when packages arrive for me), and they always make a point of helping me find the best and least expensive way to ship packages.
