Even though I was there 2 weeks before Christmas, and it seemed like everyone was there shipping presents, the line moved relatively fast. If you have a QR code for a return package, there is a self serve station. Unfortunately, it wouldn't accept my code so I had to move to the service attendant line, and everything there went smoothly. In addition to shipping, they will also pack your items. This is a full service FedX so you can print, fax, get passport photos, make copies, scan, etc. Located in strip mall with Freddie's and Trader Joe's, in back on other side. My order from last Tuesday (online)never processed and after being passed around to multiple customer service agents, I was running out of time before a flight for a three-day conference. When I called this location, Jonnie stepped in and completely saved the day. He was patient, kind, and quick to understand what I needed. He made sure my order was completed just in time for my trip. It's fast, I feel like the gentleman behind the counter was incredibly nice and went out of his way to find the most effective options for us for speed, security and price. I don't use FedEx and I don't need FedEx...until I do. And by the time I have to go at them for help, well, I need them a lot and I need them to do something out of the ordinary. Trying to return a giant garden structure that was damaged - basically I spent (no joke) 3+ hour wait times to talk to an online chat person which I got to do a total of 3 times just to arrange the actual replacement and then I needed to do the return itself but FedEx was having issue online resulting in me being unable to print the way bill for the return. The second rep at FedEx and I both started laughing at the same time when she suggested I contact them again maybe to get a new way bill. So she suggested I contact my local office. That's when I called this store expecting a mess...someone who would not help. Not only did they prove me completely wrong but went out of their way to listen and help me! I needed to pick up the waybill and when I went there to grab that and saw a long line outside...ugh... However, go go FedEx! It was super fast - they had someone outside who was "directing traffic". Here's a perfect example I tried to ship a set of keys which won't weigh more than a few oz the gentleman at the counter told me it would be $40 to ship! Every single time I come to this location, I am met with an unimaginable amount of attitude from the employees. The times I have come here they aren't even busy and it seems like no one wants to help when I ask them simple questions. I have started driving to the Tigard location which is very inconvenient but the employees there are amazing and so helpful. read more

The place is very convenient. You can get all the work you need for your business and they even have snacks. The staff is helpful even though they are being pulled in several directions. I love that with their app I can have them print or I can print with a code. The only downside was the passport photos don't meet specs, they are not taking the face large enough to qualify. read more

It's a busy location but with great capabilities like large-format printing. They have helped me with prototyping many industrial design projects by printing CAD drawings and I found the service to be invaluable. I believe I've also used them to print marketing posters and those came out great as well. read more

I came to print 2x6 blueprints, the printer would continuously miss pages that were already paid for. When I asked for help the lady came very suspicious and instead of fixing the printer she started counting tens of my previously printed pages to make sure I'm not trying to print a few pages for free... when I asked for a supervisor she went inside and never came out. The supervisor didn't come either. Didn't even show their face. This is one location I'll never set foot again. read more

I came to my local FedEx office store to print some extremely important documents that needed to be mailed that day by 5pm. I had walked over a mile as my car was recently totaled, only to discover I had left my wallet at home. Fortunately, I had a small amount of cash with me. Jahziel was the person working the counter and had 2 other customers ahead of me as it was a busy time of day. He was kind, courteous and very professional as he delivered one order, gave aid to another customer and helped me with my situation. I was extremely impressed with his calm attitude and his knowledge of systems and equipment. He was troubleshooting situations with each of us customers while aiding other employees in getting their tasks completed. This young man was performing his job function as I have never seen done before at this location. I always get good service there but this was great service. I have owned retail stores and managed them for others and I will say you are lucky I am retired as I would have offered him twice his salary to take him from you. You are very fortunate to have him on your staff. Rarely, if ever, do I take the time to fill out these surveys, but the service I received and the actions I observed, compelled me to share my experience with you today. FedEx is probably the most unreliable service for shipping overnight. You pay extra and it's delayed with no refund for. The delay, which I think would be a great strategy at winning business back. One star for location and hours. The location is convenient. It's open 24/7. The service is atrocious. Too many young folk Agents with no customer service experience. The gal rolled her eyes when I interrupted her flirting with the young man agent and asked her how to use the prepaid card machine. It made me feel like the grandma in one of those Sims Video games, interrupting her while she is trying to hook up. I'm in my 40's, but the girl's condescending explaination made feel like a moron. She lacked customer service skills. I will again use this location when I have an emergency deadline, maybe in a year's time, maybe never again if I find another 24/7 place, but indeed never again for just any service. Granted I came in at 10:30 on a Tuesday night, Scrubs was on, I couldn't come in sooner. I needed to send out a fedex letter thingy. I walk in, nice place, looks clean unlike some I've experienced. The guy at the counter is working with a lady that has a parrot perched on her shoulder, neat. I see the fedex box thingy with the forms so I look for the international airbill, can't find it, go to the counter stand in line, guy helping the lady says what do you need, but of course not very nicely. I say need to send these documents, he says ok there's the box, I'm like yeah I know, there are no international airbill, he says keep walking back, "there, there, there, there!", I finally look to my left and spy the forms. Perhaps a direction next time would help, like, just look to your right or your left or they are right next to you two feet away, or something other than, "there, there, no there, there." Douche. So finally fill the forms out, and I get back in line, he says someone will be right there, two other dudes behind the counter, ass grabbing with paper finally come over, and says what do you need, again, same training school as douche #1. I'm sending this package I say, he helps me and says, "oh no can't say documents." That's it. I'm like ok what should it say, he says be specific or they'll send it back. Good lord, I feel great, certainly not like a dumbass at all because I don't know Fedex procedure, thanks douche #2. I think the people having poor experiences here should try to go immediately after work or something. I went in around 4:30pm and the lady that helped me was super thorough and nice. I needed some documents scanned into a .PDF and put on a thumb drive. Was over fast, and she even offered to show me how the documents looked on the computer before transferring them to my thumb drive. The initial wait to see someone took a bit, but a lady working on something for another customer told me twice that someone would be there to help me as soon as a person was freed up. Hey, I'll wait until the end of the time if you keep acknowledging you know I exist! The one thing that floored me was that it was 89 cents a page to scan. Sweet mother of mercy. I looked around for a ruler or something to help scrape my jaw off the floor. Like others have said, it was clean and spacious. I think if you're able to muster it, come earlier in the day and refrain from going at night. Sounds like you'd be walking into a see of douchebaggery, and when you just want to copy some shit, do you really need attitude from the staff? Everyone was super nice and attentive when I got there. So service is OK. I've gotten a passport picture there and the people tend to try and help you. But...I can't help but feel a little ripped off from the self serve copier service. You have to buy a card in $1 increments. But the copies are $0.08 B/W and $0.49 color. So they always get to keep 2 cents. Consistently bad service here to the point that years ago I stopped bringing packages here to ship. If I do have to ship via Fed Ex, then I do it online and just drop off the package here. But this time was the worse. I needed some business cards printed up. Very basic, black type, no picture, three lines of text. I will literally be throwing these away if I don't hand them all out next weekend. According to FedEx's website, 250 is $19.99, with a $5.00 discount for ordering online. The bad part is that they take seven days to print, or cost $30.00 for overnight service, and I needed them slightly faster then that. Thinking I'd get them faster, I came down here and asked the gentleman at the counter about getting business cards. First question is "Where are you getting them?" (What???) "Here" is my answer. "Do you have the template?" "No, I need to create it." So he leads me over to a computer. "Which ones do you want?" "The cheap ones that are currently $14.99 on your site, but normally $19.99." He insists they don't have anything that cheap and quotes me the cheapest price at $29.99. For 100 cards. Not 250 like the website says. Worse yet, I click on the exact same card and template on the computer he showed me as I was looking at online. There was a couple of other terse words, because his attitude started out bad, and got worse. There was a definitive "You're an idiot" tone in his voice, at which point I said screw it and left the building totally. I pulled up the FedEx website on my phone as I was walking out the door, to check that I wasn't crazy. But there it was, just like I said. I order my dog's medications online, but they require a signature. I had them sent to the closest FedEx location so I could pick them up after work because no one is at my house to sign during the day. When I went to pick up my package after 5pm, the clerk said he would be right with me, but then went behind the counter to watch some videos on a cell phone. I eventually went to leave the store, at which point they said they would be with me in a moment, but I didn't have time to wait for their shennanigans. What a ripoff. Go down the street to the post office. I spent $27 to ship 2 packages. The counter help directed me to the "cheapest" option which was complete bs. I shipped 3 exact same packages (1-more) today through USPS for a flat rate and for $10 cheaper. Flat rate was $5.75. I paid over $12 each (plus handling?) At this location. Flat rate box included in price from USPS. Had to pay extra for FedEx. USPS helped me organize my tracking. FedEx printed a receipt and did not help identity the separate packages (for tracking to different sellers). I had to ask which one was which. How the hell do you charge a handling charge when its your business to handle packages? Go somewhere else to ship. USPS is a few blocks away. FedEx is only convenient if you cant make USPS hours. read more

The staff is rude, condescending and incapable of just getting a sign done for you. My husband had art on flash drive, sample of how it should look. The woman balked at my comment about a low res PDF file not being sufficient and it was only a sample for them to use for comparison. I asked they use the original file. She said they'd also turn it to PDF. The difference is low vs. high res and she wouldn't even discuss it blowing us off as inept. They are only about BLAME not solutions and nothing remotely stepping on the edge of the box. Good grief. Went to SIGN PRO instead - Seth was amazing! He is our new sign guy. This is the WORST place to go if you want to feel appreciated as a customer. Bar none. The mainly all male staff (I've only seen ONE female there and now she's gone) are basically 30 somethings and unless you're a cute, white girl with blond tresses and big boobs, they ((will)) ignore you. I'm a 51-year-old white female and today I went into this little corner of Hell because it's close to where my husband and I live and it's better than driving to NE Portland or thereabouts but frankly? In the future? I'm going somewhere else. Today was my 4th visit. I go there to have my manuscripts bound for editing. $4.99 cents. Which is better than $6.99 cents they charge at Smart Copy. That's it. Nothing complicated. The first time I went in, I waited FIFTEEN minutes before I was acknowledged by the FOUR male staff working there. No one said, "Hello, we'll be with you in a moment." Or "Thank you for coming in, we'll be right with you." They ignored me. Said nothing. Nada. Ziltch. They chitchatted the younger women ahead of me, and took their time. That was about six months ago. The young men were bland, unfriendly and acted like they were doing me a favor, not like I was a paying customer. I was so turned off I found their website and sent an email complaining in as nice a way as I could. No response. Though I know they got the email. A couple months later, I went in again, to have a manuscript bound. (I'm a writer and author.) Again, NO GREETING. When they tried to help someone who came in after me, I spoke up and said, "Uh, I've been waiting 15 minutes. I believe I'm next." Then reluctantly the young man helped me. At close of transaction there was no "Thank you" or any other pleasant verbal exchange. The third time I went in, the same thing. No greeting. No pleasantries, or perfunctory small talk which make these kinds of visits to copy places more tolerable. Nothing. They also made me wait 15 minutes, which I get. There were other people in the store, and they can be fairly busy, but they don't make you feel welcome, nor appreciated. AT ALL. Once again, the young man tried to help a man who came in after me. I objected and the young man apologized and took my manuscript to be bound. Then I had to wait another five minutes to PAY. Finally, I complained about having to wait even longer just to pay. The young man then looked over helplessly at his supervisor, a man also in his early to middle thirties. The manager came over and helped me, taking me to another machine over by the copy machines just so I could pay. He seemed to try to placate me and tried to be friendly. I took pity on him and cooled down. Because once again I was disgusted by the slacker attitudes of these tedious mind numbingly blank Millennials. Today I went in again. I knew it would be gruesome, like all the other times. When I got there, there was a blond girl being helped. Mid 20s, young mother. Cute. The young white male employee was chatting her up, taking his time. This time I thought to bring in my husband. I thought maybe the presence of a man might mean something different. Nah. No change. We stood there and were ignored. No "Hiya Lady! How's it hanging?" Nothing. Then I noticed a very dark skinned, very overweight young African American woman approach the white male employee who was still helping the young mother. She proceeded to timidly ask a question about the Kinkos Card she had just purchased that wasn't working on one of the back computers. The man would not LOOK at her. He refused to LOOK at her. He squinted his eyes scowled, and bent down to listen to what she had to say but he refused to LOOK at her. There was nothing wrong with how she looked. She was clean and well dressed and very black. Then he told her she would have to wait. No, "I'm sorry, I'll just be a moment," with a smile. Just the words that he would help her in a moment and she would have to wait. I'd seen enough. Not only was I disgusted at how this shitty little jerk treated the young black woman, I was utterly disgusted with the business. I looked over at my husband and laughed, and then said in a perfectly resonant voice for all to hear, "This place has the worst customer service of any Kinkos in the city! It's just awful. People come in here and the staff never greet you. No one ever says"Hi! How are you? We'll be with you in a minute." They make you wait forever, they ignore you. They're not friendly. I don't even know why I bother coming in here." Then I laughed, feeling wonderfully empowered by saying what I should have said months ago. Everyone heard me. The young black woman heard me, and so did the young mother and an older white man waiting in the back of the line. The jerk white boy with the dark hair behind the counter also heard me. He bristled in offense, and said, "Well I'm sorry you feel that way. We're really doing our best." To which I responded by laughing and saying "Yeah, right!" This place is the worst! If I could leave zero stars for this location, I would. I've been to this particular location perhaps a dozen times. Largely for the same reasons, to pick up or to ship Fedex. I've done some self service copy work as well as some photo printing as well. First, the copiers. If you are lucky, you will find one that has paper and a non striated print. Most of the time you won't, don't expect the employees to care either way. The photo machines are old, poorly maintained, and the glass is scratched on both, so dont bother trying to scan photos. The software is old enough that it won't read the vast majority of USB drives either, so, don't bother with that either. Again, don't expect help from the employees. Whatever, it's all left over stock from the Kinko's age. I can live with that. However... the customer service. Just wow. I don't think I have ever dealt with more apathetic, rude, ignorant employees - ever. Not in the worst parts of any town, not in the busiest DMV. My most recent trip, I went to pick up four Fedex packages. Large ones. Hard to miss. They noted delivered on the tracking. So, I called and the employee told me they hadn't been delivered, without even missing a beat. I asked him to look - nicely, and he refused. Just that they hadn't been delivered. So I called the shipper, mildly worried. The shipper confirmed the address of this exact location, and the tracking confirmed delivered and signed for. So... I went to the location. Asked again, without missing a step was told there was no packages delivered for me. I asked the employee (Jason) to go look if possible since all boxes are stored in the back. Again, he refused. I just stood there and he sighed in my face, rolled his eyes and asked for the tracking number. It of course shows delivered, signed for, to that address. He simply says "well, they messed up then, we don't sign for packages here" I asked again, politely, could he at least check. He said plainly: "no, I won't." I said that they do indeed sign for packages, they have before, and it makes the most logical sense that it would be in the store, considering the tracking numbers. His response "Call Fedex then, it's not my problem" at this point, another employee yells over from another counter and asks for the name on the packages. I tell him and he says, "oh yea, they are in the back." This is when Jason literally looks at me and says: "Oh, well then, I can't help you, NEXT!" - and utterly ignores me and calls the person behind me up to the front counter to help them. The second employee, CJ, gets my packages, and as I am leaving i hear Jason telling the next customer that he hates shipping to Chinese addresses "because they are weird, they don't know what they are doing over there" - he says this to a Chinese woman. Who - are you guys hiring? Seriously? I've worked in retail management and then retail corporate management most of my life. I've never had an employee on staff of that calibre. Period. I will flat out make sure that any business coming through myself or my channels avoids this location at all costs. read more
