After going to the previous location a few times, I recently made it to the new one. The space is new and shiny and very nice. Service is always hit or miss. Sometimes they're friendly, other times, not. I placed a print order online and whoever originally helped me was attentive via email, but I had to follow up for the status of my order. I can say I was very impressed with this FedEx Office & shipping center. I came to drop off my AT&T u-verse equipment to be shipped back to AT&T, and it was very simple with no issues. I gave the clerk my account number and phone number and he printed off a receipt for me, and I was good to go. The clerk was very nice and very professional! He took care of everything for me with no issues whatsoever. I was in and out in less than five minutes! This was definitely worth the time and effort to get my equipment taken care of! My first interaction with the man at the register was short, he was unable to help me . I purchased some files from Etsy and wanted to print them. He gave me a paper with an email address to send my file to. I needed help figuring out how to get my download off my iPhone - I'm not techy unfortunately . I asked if there was anyone that could help and he no, everyone there has an android . I went out to my car in 30 degree weather , as there was no place to sit - determined to figure it out . After a while , I received 2 codes from. FedEx to use. I went back in and he said that I needed to use the self service and send it to a different address. I am a regular customer requesting a place to pick up paid, completed orders. Recently, my wait has been nearly 10 minutes with only one person ahead of me in line. There are multiple people working who greet me and say someone will be with me in a minute. It's never a minute and they never stop what they're doing to help the customer in the store! It would take 10 seconds to grab the box, but no one ever offers, so I wait. The fed ex side of the store helped 8 people in the time it took me to get my copies today; there was not ever a line. This location, which I have been to multiple times, has always been a quick and easy process. The staff is always nice and friendly, and from my experiences, they are following the mask and social distancing policies. I was in there on Saturday to deliver a package to my friend in Florida. I paid for the standard shipping which was 3-5 business days (around $12) it arrived on Tuesday, so two days early! The staff member who was helping me was very genuine and seemed to actually care about myself and the job she was doing. She asked me a list of questions regarding shipping preferences and worked with me when I asked her to clarify what some of the questions meant. This may be standard to all FedEx stores, but I love the emailing of receipts and delivery confirmations, very user-friendly and allows me to opt-out of paper copies. The entire process took around 7-minutes and they have a well-staffed store that can take care of multiple customers at a time. I am always shocked when I walk in because I forget they have an entire store, from shipping boxes, to mail pouches to many different kinds of stationery and gift styles! An added bonus, they have a station that allows you to have no contact with employees to print shipping labels. I will definitely be going back to this store whenever I have to ship a package or need stationery! read more

Twice I waited in a long line to ask for help with the copiers, twice they answered my question as quickly as they could and disappeared. We couldn't get our home scanner to work and had to scan an important document, so we ran over here. You can't scan documents from their copiers--you have to use their computer workstations, which start at about $0.49 per minute. There are posted instructions on each workstation and the kiosks are fairly user friendly, but there's not a lot of information about which tier of service you need to pick to start with, so we ended up wasting several minutes' worth of time after we picked the basic level and then realized we needed the $0.79/minute level instead for scanning. We scanned the document and were surprised to see how poor the quality was--the original copy was good quality, but the scan looked awful. We changed the dpi of the scanner and tried again with the same result. We ended up having to go up to the counter and the associate scanned it from behind the counter with a much better result. She also refunded us the money from the computer workstation, which I thought was nice. Pro tip: you can't email your scanned documents to yourself, so bring along a flash drive. We didn't have one handy, so we bought their cheapest one ($8). read more

I just witnesses one of the rudest displays of customer service I have ever seen. The boy behind the counter was horrifically rude to the man in line in front of me. The gentleman appeared to not speak english as well as some. I don't know if that was the boy's issue but the way he spoke to the man was nothing but rude and snarky. There seemed to be a miscommunication about a name on an email or something petty. The customer asked about it and the employee proceeded to shove the packing slip into the customer's face. I shipped a laptop computer - just the flat, square laptop - and asked FedEx to package it. I knew there would be a fee for this, but expected it to be maybe $8-$10. I was so wrong. The packaging fee alone - not including shipping - was $25.00. I was astounded. I paid it - I didn't have a choice at the moment - but lesson learned there. I then needed to choose paper type and she mentioned something about pounds.. Sorry i said dont know much about paper.. So huffed and walked around to 2 machines and grabbed the ones i asked about which i thgt was nice, but not with her crappy attitude, she put them on the counter and said," theres a big difference between these,". Prior to placing an order here I called Office Depot to talk with them about a large special order. They confirmed they could do it, by my deadline. I spent an hour trying to figuring out their website and upload documents, an hour! Only to find out they couldn't do it by my deadline! We stopped by to do some printing. There are three machines to the right that you can self-print on. We attempted to print from the options provided including print from google drive, print from onedrive, or email FedEx with attachment for a code to print from. None of these worked and we tried all three machines. When I finally went to the desk for help I was told they weren't set up to print from the cloud, as the machines suggest are an option. The email to FedEx didn't work either. They offered to print from their desk and then shared it was a higher fee. I questioned why the options are there if the machines aren't set up and suggested they perhaps post a sign that it isn't an option. The response was that FedEx is a global company, this is new technology, and you can't expect them to be able to update everything in a timely manner. We left in search of another option and won't choose this site or another FedEx site. I suggest you bring a USB if you need to print there. read more

I went to this FedEx location a few weeks ago to print and mail a simple 1 page black and white letter. I had my 5 yo daughter with me who was quietly looking at the merchandise in the store part of their location. I occasionally would call out to her to make sure she was doing OK and check her location since the shipping desk doesn't face that part of the store. I'm really happy with the service at this location - things always go smoothly and the workers are very friendly. I'm mostly leaving this review about my most recent shipment though: fragile, glass antiquities that had to make it all the way to China! I was pretty worried and could have sworn they'd be broken by the time they reached their destination. However, FedEx said no problem, packed it up to survive a nuclear bomb, and behold: they made it there in whole, original pieces! I had one of the worst experiences when I went in. First off, let me start by stating that I am usually very friendly and easy going when it comes to things and it takes a LOT to make me upset. I went in on Tuesday night to go print a very important paper that I had spent several months refining and was so excited to print. I get there only to find that half of my pages were printed in the wrong color while the other half was the right color. It was messed up, fine, I figured whatever, they can reprint it with another printer. They printed it the second time and it was still messed up, this time the blues were showing up as gray. Fine. I asked the lady on shift what I could do and why this was happening. She told me that they didn't color correct which I was immediately able to understand however that did not solve anything because half of my pages were printed in the right color while the other half was some weird off color. The error wasn't consistent which was my problem. She made me go home, check my file, make sure it wasn't an error on my part even though the PDF showed the colors were exactly the same when she zoomed in to compare. I called the next morning to speak with the manager and had the pleasure of speaking with the assistant manager, Amy who had a serious attitude with me that really set me off. I started off the conversation asking about the 20% discount Carmel DECA students were supposed to receive because we partnered with them and her response was that her manager, Laura, has poor communication skills and failed to inform the employees. She basically trashed her own manager to a customer. If there is an issue between, that is not my problem, I simply was asking about whether or not they would honor it since it was a deal the school made with the Carmel location. Moving on from that, I decided to inquire whether or not I would be compensated for the trouble I had to go through the previous night. Typically, when you go somewhere and you have a bad experience, you are given your money back plus some sort of compensation for the inconvenience to make it up to you. When I asked, Amy was probably one of the rudest people I could have ever dealt with and told me that she wouldn't do anything other than give me my 20% which, let me remind you, was something I SHOULD be already receiving. I was so disappointed in the poor customer service present here. If I come in wanting to print something, I should be able to walk out with what I went in there for. I spent close to an hour that first night and would have had to return again, wasting more time and gas to get something I should have already gotten the first time around. I am so disappointed with Kinkos and will NEVER return. I have already told DECA kids to go to UPS instead. I went in there one time, asked them to print my paper and left within 20 minutes with the perfect copies I was looking for without any attitude from any employees. My message to the print shop: If this is how you run your company, you need to seriously rethink it because this was such a terrible experience and I know plenty of others who had similar experiences. You are a company that specializes in print services as well and it sure doesn't seem like it.
