I moved to stand against the white wall as the representative produced a tiny digital camera and insert the batteries (smart). He apologized that he'd have to get REALLY close in order to take the photo. It was so awkward. Could he not have stood at a distance and utilized the zoom function? I'm not sure, but the photo was not good. I'm contemplating on whether or not to use it. I don't utilize my passport as often as my driver's license, but I will have it for a while, so there's that. I also had a new DL photo taken today, but with their very sophisticated camera set-up the photo came out much better. I had used Google to look up the cost at UPS versus other places that offer them and they were the second cheapest. As it turns out, the pricing shown was inaccurate (thank you Google AI for that very wrong information). The cost was about double what I expected to pay. When I made the appointment online, no cost was shown or confirmed, but I'm sure that this information can be found on their website. Honestly, it was an afterthought for me. I just needed an up-to-date photo ASAP. The representative was kind and quick, although he kept apologizing for the printer and how long it takes. I was in and out in under 15 minutes.

A staff person told me it must have been stolen, and I could make a 'claim'. Who the heck would have stolen it other than an employee? The associate didn't claim their store had been broken into. The item in the package 'was not' likely useful to 99.9% of the population and was being shipped to be repaired.

She talks to her coworker and now they're willing to accept it as is. I went home and looked up the UPS guidelines for packaging... it does NOT state you can't reuse a retail box, it needs to be sturdy and have any previous shipping labels removed but absolutely NO restrictions on the appearance of the box. Yes, it's only a couple bucks to buy a box/bag but the fact they try to scam people into unnecessarily buying something when it is in no way against UPS policies is really aggravating. Every time we were given a completion date, it was pushed back again. Because of the repeated delays, we had to change sizes and adjust our plans multiple times just to keep our business opening on track. The delays directly affected the opening of our business. The entire process took over a month, and in the end, we did not even receive the product we originally wanted. We accepted an alternative only because we were told it was the only solution available. Despite all the delays and inconvenience, we never received an apology, nor were we offered any discount or compensation for the time and money we lost. The problems were not limited to the banners. Some of the other items were made in the wrong sizes, even though my husband personally visited and provided the exact measurements. We had to cut and modify some items ourselves, and one of our frames was damaged in the process, forcing us to purchase a replacement at our own expense. What made the experience even more frustrating was the lack of communication. Instead of proactively updating us, we constantly had to follow up and chase answers. Responses were slow, timelines kept changing, and there was very little accountability throughout the entire process. This experience cost us valuable time, money, and unnecessary stress during one of the most important periods of our business launch. If you are looking for a company that communicates well, meets deadlines, and takes responsibility for its mistakes, I would not recommend this business.
