I needed a photo for my expedited passport application following a name change. I tried to use my old passport photo, but they do not allow that if the photo is over 6 months old (word to the wise). I made an appointment and arrived to find that the photo would be taken directly to the right of the counter while they continued to assist other customers. Can you say cringe?! I moved to stand against the white wall as the representative produced a tiny digital camera and insert the batteries (smart). He apologized that he'd have to get REALLY close in order to take the photo. It was so awkward. Could he not have stood at a distance and utilized the zoom function? I'm not sure, but the photo was not good. I'm contemplating on whether or not to use it. I don't utilize my passport as often as my driver's license, but I will have it for a while, so there's that. I also had a new DL photo taken today, but with their very sophisticated camera set-up the photo came out much better. I had used Google to look up the cost at UPS versus other places that offer them and they were the second cheapest. As it turns out, the pricing shown was inaccurate (thank you Google AI for that very wrong information). The cost was about double what I expected to pay. When I made the appointment online, no cost was shown or confirmed, but I'm sure that this information can be found on their website. Honestly, it was an afterthought for me. Good convenient location but the service is half and half. If the manager is standing near the counter things go smoothly and there are a couple employees that really stay on top of providing good service, but during this visit I had a drop off for a return and during the middle of helping me the rep hopped in a conversation about sports betting with the next counter. Very frustrating since I was in a hurry. read more

There is a woman who works there who has the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I made an appointment through their website for passport photos and showed up with my children and she asked if it was for me or them and when I said both she said that she feels like the lighting won't work for them and it wasn't going to happen and I can find a new place to do them. Then when I asked why they would allow for appointments online she simply ignored me and asked for the next person in line. She made it so awkward even the people who were there were shocked at her response to me with my young kids. I'll file a formal complaint but I'm still blown away that she could choose to say that the lightening wouldn't work when she found out she would be taking a child's photo for passports..... super disappointing. read more

Some of the best service I had at a shipping store. Way better than USPS and at the USPS our taxes pay for part of it. Honestly the best manager there that runs is great. I believe his name is Grant. It was priced well for copies of paper as well. read more

Heading inside, I thought "oooh a new place to review" and then immediately "eh, there probably won't be much to write about." I was wrong! I had the BEST experience that made me immediately want to type this out. There was a woman named Crystal working at the counter who was SO KIND and made the whole experience wonderful. This is the kind of errand that I dread doing because I feel like I always mess something up, but she made it super easy. She printed out a label for me, measured my box, and was smiling the entire time. She seemed like she loved her job and had a joy for life, despite being in UPS, right before closing in the middle of a stormy day. She was great in person and it was a quick experience. And then... when I was driving home, I remembered that I had forgotten to tape my box that I was mailing closed. I didn't see her tape it either so I called to ask if she could do that for me. Over the phone she said, "Oh honey - I did that for you! I taped every side and you're all good to go. No worries!" I felt like she was my mom in the way that she went above and beyond to take care of me. Go, UPS! read more

Extremely disappointed with this office. Needed a Notary Public, called at 5:43 pm and was told he would be there until 7 pm. At 5:50 pm arrived and waited in line. Got up to register and was told "Oh man, I can't believe he did that. He just left." I told him, " I just called." He said "I know I heard him tell you he would be here. I'm a notary public, but I am new and not comfortable doing anything without the manager." Not to mention last week when they notarized something, it was done incorrectly. Came to ship items to The Real Real. Big company that have a corporate account with UPS. First of all was greeted by a semi alive bored female employee. She seemed like she wanted to go home and sleep. Told her I have a label and the packaging is covered by the companies account. She called the manager Cecilia who was super rude to me and told me there is no such thing! She told me "I'm the store manager so I know". I had an average experience - that being said, i don't go to UPS expecting to be wowed. They were pleasant enough, took my package and provided a receipt. My package reached its destination within a couple days (it was a return) and i had no issues. Nothing wrong with the location and provided the exact service i needed. read more

Do not bother shipping anything with a "Guarantee" date. They sold me on Saturday delivery, charged me, then delivered the following week. When I requested a refund they easily remembered UPS wasn't guaranteeing anything. The manager refused the refund and said it wasn't their fault. What a scam! read more

Lost package! I don't ship from this UPS store. I was in a rush so I took a chance. I shipped a package and over a month later I found out it will be returned back to me. I asked if they can resend it before it is returned to me. Their response was no, it will cost you to ship it again once it is returned. I asked if they can reroute the package. They told me no! Then gave me instructions on what I can do on my end to have the package rerouted. She continued to say, I don't think it will work. She did say that there is an issue with the system on the receiving place. This is why it is being returned. So a 1 star is too high of a rating for this place! read more

They have been friendly and helpful, and packages have been delivered on time. I used to experiemce longer waiting times for service but that has been better recently. Had to get some mortgage closing documents notarized so I made an appointment online to meet with the notary. We arrived about 4 minutes early and were told that the notary "just left" and would be back soon. Ummm...what? 20 minutes late, the notary arrives back without apologizing for being late or offering any explanation. The only reason he came back was because the employees texted him to tell him his appointment was there. Why make an appointment at all? Ugh. Already a hassle to have to sign 20 pages worth of documents in the middle of the store at the shipping table with other customers dropping off packages all around you but then to have to wait around for 20 minutes because the notary decided to head out? Not a good experience. I'd suggest going to your bank if you need a notary. read more

Dropped off two overnight packages for a closing (well before the pickup time). Neither got sent out until the next day(they arrived on Monday for a Friday closing, despite my 1pm drop off on Thursday). Cost me $1000's in legal fees to re-date and update the closing docs. Owner never offered to pay anything - claimed I should call UPS. UPS said I should sue the owner for extra costs associated with mistake. Never got anything from either & I had to pay for the overnight package. That wasn't right. I don't have the time or energy to sue - so I'm writing this everywhere I can. Drop off anyplace else but this store. Owner is dishonest and didn't take responsibility for anything. This is how businesses go out of business. read more

Took us weeks of frustration to discover that this store was the cause of us not receiving expected checks!
