The absolute worst fed ex ship center I have ever used. I ship all the time and this one in particular does everything they can to bait you into having them box your shipment and charge you extra. They refuse packages more often than not from me in order to tell you they need to pack it. They try to upsell me every time. Beware of the shady tactics at this one. They will literally push down on your package to see if they can collapses it so that they can say it's not packed enough and they need to bubble wrap or fill it so its "strong". It's a scam that they continue to play. El Paso needs some additional fed ex ship centers without all the terrible business practices like this one. read more

¡ESTAFA! On 8/23/19 & 8/24/19, I completed my regional job by shipping my equipment back to headquarters, like I do all over the country, in hundreds of cities... WITHOUT HASSLE! This place was different. Since the FedEx drop locations get no money for pre-labeled/prepaid boxes, the scam is to 1) look for any scratch, 2) claim it's a defective box, so they can get PAID by 3) charging corporate accounts to "repack," before shipping. It would be understandable had I not already known that my equipment ships fine in the carefully marked (for our own organizational protocols and ease of use at headquarters) AND ALREADY BEEN SHIPPED ALL OVER THE COUNTRY, NEXT DAY AIR, for hundreds of thousands of dollars in shipping costs at countless cities all over the country. The final straw was on 8/24 when the counter guy chased me to my car because he said our account wasn't on the pre-labeled box, which doesn't even matter. IT'S PRE-LABELED, pre-weighed, and good to go at every other FedEx office location in the United States. read more

The use of their online option is amazing...very easy and simple to use...go to the store and pickup my items, again super easy and friendly service...what I love the most is the email notifications of when my order is received and when it's ready for pickup! FedEx is one of the major shipping companies that allows you to have your package/parcel held at a location of your choice. This came in soooo handy this weekend. I was waiting for some important documents and the fracker said the delivery was scheduled for Friday- a day I work. Then with stormy weather, the delivery schedule changed to Monday- another day I work. I went online and had the package held at this FedEx location. I knew it would be safe and waiting until I got here- about five minutes before the closed! The staff was courteous and accommodating and I got my documents and was on my way. I am appreciative of this service. read more

Please read this before shipping a large box. We sent all of our mother's china and glasses and inherited items in their special glass and plate boxes. We marked them FRAGILE on every side, and a bit UP with an arrow. When we recieved the boxes on the other side the boxes were trashed, and placed upside down. DO NOT USE FEDEX! read more

This FedEx office offers fairly good service but they have a really annoying tendency to find fault with any packaging other than their own, and will often refuse to accept a well-packed box unless you pay them to repack it. You are much better off at the UPS Store, also on N. Mesa, or even the Post Office, which has surprisingly low rates for Priority Mail, compared to FedEx. My packaging has never been questioned at either of these two locations. read more

Can I give them no stars??? The manager, Robert, is HORRIBLE! He has zero customer service skills. Saw me standing at the door and still opened late. Did not say a word to me. I went to the counter to ship a package and he went to open up the other registers. Really??? The store should be ready for customers and opened on time. Staff can go either way. Some are good others not so much. On another occasion I called for an approximate cost to ship international. Robert said he couldn't give out rates over the phone. He transferred me to customer service which just gave me a busy signal. Fortunately, there are other FedEx Office locations in El Paso. I called the one on Montana and Frank was very helpful. He got me an answer in about two minutes. Will ship from that location from now on. Pretty sure Robert win't care as it will be that much les work for him. read more

My patience for this FedEx grows smaller and smaller every time I go. The staff has no idea what the hell they're doing and the only time I've had a somewhat pleasant encounter with anyone that works at this particular FedEx has been when they were just hired and are still being trained... have mercy on their souls. The last two trips I made here will always come to the forefront of my mind if I absolutely HAVE to go to this FedEx. Trip 1: I had gone online and sent two different types of papers to be printed in two different quantities. Easy enough. I set the pick up times. And I showed up 45 minutes after my latest pickup time. So to say they had more than enough time to print these pages would be an understatement. And there was literally nothing difficult about my print order. I showed and was handed one order to which I let them know I had two. An employee went to the back, got the second order, was holding the second order, and then told me he couldn't give it to me because of the way the system works. Umm... what? I was advised I could come back in 30 minutes and try again as he was still holding the order in his hand. So yes, to clarify, the order has already been printed and I can actually see it because the employee is holding it in his hands telling me to come back. Because clearly, I live to make multiple trips to FedEx on the daily... I don't have a life. I stood my ground and was adamant I wasn't making multiple trips to FedEx to pick up something that's 1. already printed; and 2. should've been ready for pickup 45 minutes earlier. After a whole lot of back and forth, I eventually got my papers, but the employee felt it necessary to make it clear to me he was doing something special. NO, you're doing your job. Trip 2: My job needed me to switch out laptops and sent my new one through FedEx. It was delivered, I signed for it, everything was great. Inside the box was a return label for the other laptop. I put the return label on the box, put my old laptop inside the same way the new one was sent to me and drove it to this FedEx. I got to the front of the line and stepped up to the employee behind the counter, handed her my package, and said, "I need to send this out." She took the package and then started to vigorously shake it. I'll write that again... she took the package and THEN STARTED TO VIGOROUSLY SHAKE IT. Glad it wasn't glass vases I made by hand. She asked me (while shaking it), "What is it?" I told her what it was and she immediately said, "We can't send this! You have to pay for our packaging. It shakes too much." My next words: "That's literally how you guys sent the original package." More back and forth, eventually I threw my hands up and said, "Nope, that's fine. Not paying you to ship something that's already been paid for." I made my way to a FedEx all the way on the Eastside, and you know what they didn't do? They didn't vigorously shake my package and they didn't try to tell me I needed to pay them to repackage it. Not impressed by the staff at this FedEx at all and to be quite honest, I won't be using them anymore. If I absolutely need to go to FedEx, I'd rather drive the extra 30-40 minutes to go to a different one. read more

They made me wait for more than 20+ minutes while I was the only customer at the store. I went in with a box with minor damage that was delivered to me BY THEM that I had to return to the manufacturer. The lady at the front told me they couldn't accept the package because of the damage stating that it could "cause damage" to other packages. She made me pay $14 for ANOTHER BOX. The box which was sent BY THEM. Not only is this unfair, but the worker who claimed to be the "supervisor" presented me unprofessional attitude. Do not recommend, will show the smallest thing that's wrong with your package and will make you pay for another box. read more

Clueless!! I get a couple of FedEx boxes together and tape them into a make-shift flat box to ship a poster that can not be rolled. The box has their logo all over it. It's taped up fine. I go to the counter and Aylanna tells me that can't accept it because the box is damaged. I tell her there's nothing wrong with it and she says "Ok,I'll ship it but I have to mark it as damaged." Really?? Why,so you guys can crack it open and take what ever is in there out? Then when it gets to the customer FedEx can say it was marked damaged so we don't reimburse you? No, they want to repack it.Charge an extra $30 to do that...and what are they going to do? Cut up some FedEx boxes and do the same thing I did. Every time I go there these people give me and/or my wife crap about shipping stuff. Because they are lazy and don't want to work. Few months back I went there to laminate 7 items. Again Aylanna showed me how the machine worked. She stated that's all she could do and that I would have to laminate them myself. Looking for a lawsuit? People slice up their fingers? Get burned by the machine? Lazy, ignorant and customer service is garbage. The manager Michael is just as useless. My wife went there one morning and got there 5 minutes before they opened. Michael was inside already. About 10 minutes after they were supposed to be opened he finally opens the door. She's on her way to work but still has to wait for Michael to turn on the rest of the lights. Get the cash registers going. Turn on other machines. Shouldn't that have been done before the doors opened? My wife finally left there after about 35 minutes and she was the only one in the store. Worst part is they know me there. They know I work for FedEx as well. A different branch of FedEx but you're supposed to help each other out. Team work? Apparently this place has no clue what it means. The staff did not provide me many price options and were pretty short/rude with me, even tho there were hardly any customers. I had to keep asking for different prices and the staffer waiting on me grudgingly told me my options, it was uncomfortable. I was having trouble finding the right sized box, and they did not have a staff member walking around helping customers, which would have been nice. I honestly prefer my local post office. I have not been to a UPS store in El Paso, but my previous UPS store would package everything for me, help me find the right size box, and gave me every price option possible to help me save money. read more

This is ridiculous. I had to get a business fax out ASAP and I was away from my office/ fax machine. I had to use their workstation to print the document. Don't use this place if you need privacy. Everyone's print jobs get mixed up. Also, It cost over $18 to send 9 pages by fax. Talk about a company that does not have it's customers best interests in mind. I can understand making a profit, but this is just plain highway robbery. Don't fax anything from here. read more

This shop is engaging in fraud and has been for a long time. The fraud: rejecting any and all packaging you provide for a shipment and then insisting that they sell you their boxes and packages. I brought in a 30 lb telescope, with a pre-paid lable, to be shipped. I had taken a larger box, modifying it to fit around the telescope box. It was stable, no holes, no tears and properly taped. They refused to ship it, saying I needed a better box. Their solution? They could sell me a box for $20! Yes, a box for $20! They have done this before to me and I have no idea why I even brought that shipment there. I called another Fed Ex Print & Ship center and asked them their requirements for proper packaging. They said that the box had to be strong, secure, no open holes or tears. My boxing not only meets that requirement, but exceeds it. This is the perfect example of abusively greedy capitalism, taking advantage of people that do not know any better. read more

Horribly rude. They claimed they could not ship a package because it was in the manufacturer's packaging despite the fact that they themselves had already shipped it to me in said box. Printed my return label BEFORE informing of this. I drove down to the Redd location where they kindly took the package and shipped it off. Don't bother with these ill informed, poorly trained employees. They need to to receive training in customer service. read more

The customer service was a joke, and they attempt to "nickel and dime" you by saying packages need paper inside, etc. So, per package they charge $4.32 or somewhere around that price. However, the same packages were shipped there earlier in the week. After speaking with some of the locals it appears that the locations is known for it. There were also several issues with picking the items up from there location, and after speaking to a rude manager and staff worker I was able to get my last package of 13 that I sent. They didn't hesitate to tell me that I needed to be better prepared when picking up the packages, etc. however, I had everything given to me when the packages were shipped. Basically the company was a joke. Luckily I had a fabulous time in El Paso, and the FedEx was not able to ruin that completely, but they gave it their best shot. I would recommend going somewhere else for your business if you are able too! read more
