In the middle of a panic, late Saturday night, and into Sunday, I started to reach out to local shops, hoping that at the very least someone would reach out to me on Monday, since most, if not, all of them were closed on Sundays. Sure enough I eventually found MOSS Printing, and saw that Jose generously put his personal cell number up for people to reach out to him. So Sunday morning I sent him a message, and within 15 minutes he calls me directly after reading my message to talk over the details. Within five minutes of speaking over the phone, he said that it would be no problem to handle our last second print job for the wedding programs, and told me he'd be in first thing Monday morning to do it personally. After coming in Monday morning on April 17, I met Jose in person, gave him the file for the front and back of the program. as well as dimensions and total amount that I needed, and same day at 4 PM all 150 of the wedding programs were printed and ready to go for me to pick up. They looked great, felt great, and Jose was able to find a nearly identical type of paper to what we had already used for other aspects of the wedding. Throughout the entire process, Jose, exhibited great communication and was fun to chat with as well. Steve was very knowledgeable and super friendly to talk to about film. I will say, the drive-thru/way to drop off film can be a little confusing (was deterred my first time I went because I didn't know what to do), and it is cash only fyi! Steve was also accommodating and was able to load my images onto a flash drive that I brought. Because Steve is the main person developing the film, it can take a while to get your images back. It took about 10 weeks for me to get one roll of film developed/processed, but it was definitely worth it. If you want your film processed faster, I would recommend going somewhere else. But if you are willing to wait and get some great images, I can vouch for Express Photo.

I was at brunch across street with friends who said "oh good luck at that UPS they are so mean" and I laughed that I agreed it was comically a rude environment but I was so close to the location, I would brave the bitter. Walked in, and instantly before I could even say hello was told by the same employee I avoided interacting with for a year "move to this side of the line, you'd think you would learn how lines work in kindergarten". So I walked out and drove to 83rd street UPS where they smile, are helpful and can treat you with humanity and kindness. Always try to give people the benefit of the doubt that maybe they are just having a bad day, but this guy is having much (much) more than a bad day.
