I am writing to formally report an unacceptable customer-service experience at the FedEx location at [location/address] on September 12 at approximately 10:20 a.m. I came in with a simple Sephora return. Sephora's return instructions state that customers may take eligible returns to a local FedEx location, where the shipment can be labeled and packaged for return. I have completed returns at this location before and expected standard assistance with preparing the package. Instead, the two counter employees were dismissive, reluctant to help, and appeared unwilling to provide even basic assistance. When I asked about having the package taped, I was handed a tape gun and told to tape the package myself while the employees discussed whether they were supposed to do it. Their tone and manner made me feel unwelcome and inconvenienced for requesting routine service. This was not a complicated request; it was one box for a standard return. I expect FedEx customer-counter employees to communicate respectfully and provide clear guidance when a customer is following a retailer's stated return process. If this location has a policy requiring customers to package or tape their own boxes, that should be explained professionally and consistently--not handled with dismissiveness or hostility. Please review this incident, clarify the applicable policy for Sephora returns, and address the customer-service conduct of the employees working at the counter at that time. I would appreciate confirmation that this complaint has been received and reviewed. Clearly you have two miserable bitter fed Ex associates who should not be working at this location. It's obvious why I was mistreated because the male associates are beyond helpful and have NEVER questioned any returns made in the past. There's was major envy and hate reflected toward me when all I needed was assurance with a small return. I'm hoping corporate escalates this complaint. read more

I use FedEx print services once a year because the color prints I need printed on label paper always jams my works copier and printers. I haven't previously had problems, but this particular visit this week their copier for professional services kept jamming. They ended up printing them on the outside self service copiers, but the color quality was not as good. What normally takes a few mins to print this job took over 30 minutes to figure out. read more

I had a particularly upsetting customer service experience today with the Assistant Manager at this location - Anthony. I called earlier in the day - at around 5 pm - asking about timeframe to deliver an important document and he was evasive and vague about pricing and delivery for it. The only clear answer he could provide was I had to get the letter out by today to avoid overnight charges or missing the delivery window. So I told him I'd rush to get there today as he suggested. I saw the door open at FedEx as I parked and walked up at 5:59 pm (they close at 6 pm); he was already closing the door. He opened the door back up to tell me I was "late" and refused to help me send out the letter we had discussed over the phone saying "it wasn't his problem" and I had to come a different day. He was so dismissive, smug, unkind, unprofessional, and completely lacking in basic empathy when talking to me. He thought it was more appropriate to place blame on me rather than helping me as a customer. I've never been treated this way by anyone at this location and I can say I'll definitely go out of my way to go to any other ship center besides this one. Anthony should not be working in customer service or dealing with people and would strongly caution others against relying on this location or dealing with him. I can't imagine why anyone would want a manager like this who will basically drive away business. read more

Aiden was awesome and really took care of me -- great customer service and very professional. Unfortunately, my experience with the woman manager (I believe she has Roman numeral tattoos on her both arms) was the opposite. While I was waiting at the counter, she helped two other customers before me and never acknowledged that I was next. Even after the last customer paid in front of me, she walked away, started a conversation with a coworker, and never came back to assist me. I went in to ship two packages. It's a pretty big store with lots of copy machines/printing stations, packing/office supplies and even snacks to grab if you're on the go. There was a separate counter to scan and ship yourself but I opted for the human interaction counter since there was no line. The employee was very friendly, quickly verified my packages had the correct labels, printed my receipt and I was out to continue my day in about a minute. This location is super convenient for me as it's near work. It's easily accessible from the freeway with plenty of parking and some tasty food in the plaza. read more

This is a very spacious FedEx store that is located by the 210 freeway. I usually come to this plaza for Raising Cane and Robeks juice as well as dropping off my shipment if have any. The location is very convenient. Parking lot is never full, and I can always find parking without any issue. Representative's services is fast. They are probably only focusing on getting their job done as I do not see any smile or I cannot tell if they are friendly. However, they can help us to get our job done for sure. Will continue to come back if I have to ship a package. read more

Update: NEVER EVER EXPECT ANYTHING SHIPPED TO YOU BY FEDEX TO ARRIVE. A bold statement yes, but fedex recently denied our claim that the item did not arrive at our home and that we did not sign for the delivery. This even after they claimed I signed for the delivery and their own supposed "proof of signiture" form did not have any signiture and, it is evident that I was not at home at the time of delivery. The fact that they fired the driver telks us a lot. They cover up for thefts by their drivers. Dishonest scam artists. read more

This was my first time trying this FedEx location. I usually go to a different location but I was in a hurry and this location was the closest and en route to my client's office. I needed 3 color printouts both sides on cover stock paper. At the beginning, I did have to wait a bit but shortly one of the staff came and immediately took my pdf file on my usb drive and was able to resolve my print request immediately. I didn't even need to mention that I was in a hurry. The print job, pricing and customer service was outstanding. Top marks to the team and results. Justin the print technician called me and ensured the quality of my order by confirming what o wanted and even made great recommendations. The print job was done ahead of time and it came out beautiful. I also needed to use mailing service and the customer service clerk was very nice and handled my order within 5 minutes. Today there was a line and though I arrived before cut off for for an overnight shipment I had to make, I was stressed I may not make it. UPDATE 9/3/24: A Fed Ex rep showed up unannounced at my door today 9/3 about 2:55pm. He did not identify himself and began inquiring about a Fed Ex delivery from last week. I had to ask his name because all I was able to see was a Fed Ex truck out front, possible Fed Ex uniform and maybe an ID badge clipped to his belt with the picture & name flipped facing his body. He stated his name was Geraldo. At some point in our conversation, he stated he was the manager for the deliveries. My takeaway from our brief conversation was: 1) It is IRRELEVANT -- His words referring a) to the note on the doorstep directing all packages to be delivered to the rear door, b) to the Delivery Instructions in the Fed Ex App and account and c) the delivery address and instructions on the package label. 2) It is up to the drivers' discretion -- His words referring to where the drivers decide where they choose to leave packages. 3) He asked if the driver rang the doorbell and I stated No, we were home at the time of the delivery and the Fed Ex drivers never/rarely ever ring the doorbell to let us know they have delivered. It is so obvious from this interaction, from his comments and tone, that there is no care to ensure packages are safe from porch pirates, theft or that the intended recipients actually receive them. I am shocked if this is the policy and how Fed Ex values the business and trust they are given in accepting packages from their customers. I will definitely have to share this with all and everyone to warn them of this and caution "use at your own risk". read more

I called, emailed the photo, and when the picture was printed, I got a call from a sales associate & was able to just swing by to pick it up. The service was good for what its worth. I had the tracking number, my ID, and a copy of his ID on my phone. They wouldn't let me pick up the envelope. Terrible customer service. Don't use FedEx. It will be a Christmas miracle if we ever get all of our boxes. We were waiting to receive three boxes with a movable standing desks and accessories since Friday. Expected delivery date was 12/5 (Friday), waited all day, nothing came. Expected delivery date changed to 12/6 (Saturday), we cancelled all activities to wait for the boxes. Update on FedEX tracking around 5pm - delivery not attempted. Next attempt, 12/8 (Monday), waited all day, the driver delivers 2/3 boxes then leaves without delivering the third box that contained all the accessories for assembling the desk. So, we can't assemble the desk. FedEx tracking update now says, delivery attempted - no response. Don't understand how it's no response, when they just delivered 2 out of 3 boxes 15 minutes ago. I called multiple times asking for the third box and the person who picked up the phone said they can put a tracker and I can meet the driver mid way. Mid-way? I am not sure why FedEx, a credible company, will ask their customer to meet their driver halfway for a home delivery. read more

I went in to get a large scan job, which I have done at this location many times before. I address the clerk and ask for what I need like I usually do. The young lady who helped me asked if I needed copies of my large scan, I said no, I only needed the large documents scanned and put on my flash drive. She says to give her a moment and she takes my documents over the scanner, I figure it's to make sure they fit the size limit of the scanner which I was aware of and prepared for. After some time, she comes back and proceeds to move the files over to my flash drive. I was shocked, they usually ask me to come back the next day which I mentioned to her, I figured maybe they were not too busy so they did my scan job sooner. We walk over to the register and she proceeds to ring me up. I take a quick glance at the screen and see the two scan jobs I was expecting to pay for and then look away to get back to the work email on my phone. She verbally tells me the price and I said "Sheesh, I have been trying to buy a scanner like you guys have but have been unable to find one," and she said "I know, I feel like we charge too much." The price was about $400 which felt like a lot, but it was a big scan job and I trusted they had their math right. I was in a hurry so I paid the bill, took my stuff and went back to work. Something just didn't feel right about the price so when I got to work I compared my new receipt to a previous one and the discrepancy was kind of huge. There was an $87 charge I didn't understand, so I called to asked about it, the young lady on the phone was the same one who helped me earlier and she told me that the charge was a same-day job fee. I was very confused because I did not ask for a same-day job nor was I informed by anyone that a same-day job charge would be placed on my order. I explained that she never asked me if I wanted a same-day job or that there was an extra charge for same day job. I am aware that they do charge extra for same-day, but I was never given the option. She proceeded to tell me that she just assumed I wanted the same-day option and that there was a miscommunication. I asked follow up questions about the charge to understand the circumstances as to why this would be placed on an order. I asked the young lady how I prevent this from happening in the future, if there is anything I should say. She told me that when request future scan jobs, I should specify to the person helping me, that this is not a same-day job and I can wait for the next day. Idk about you guys, but I don't think it's my job to explain to an employee of a company to not give me unnecessary charges. I thought this to myself and not verbalize over the phone. I have always believed that people are more likely to help you when you are kind rather than rude or explosive, being from a customer service background myself, so I thanked the young lady for the info and made my way back to FedEx. I walked into the store and explained to the attendant that I wanted to speak to someone who was authorized to do refunds. I was directed to wait for the manager but he was busy and then the assistant manager came over to speak to me. I explained the situation in the same detail as I am telling you now. I explained that nothing was wrong with my order but that I was given an unnecessary charge. I explained how I thought it was in bad form as a business for someone to make an assumption about my intentions and make me pay for something I would of said no to if I was given the option. He asked if I was aware of same-day charges and I explained that I was, so he said that I should have known I would be charged because I took my order the same-day. I explained that I was a repeat customer and that in every other time, I was always told to come the next day. I continued to explain that since my order was done so fast, I thought maybe they were not so busy that day and I appreciate how speedy the process was. The assistant manager said he would talk to his manager and see what could be done. He came back to me and said that a refund could not be issued to me because it would make them... "look bad". I thought to myself, "Are you f***ing kidding me?!?". What I verbalized was if he was actually being serious. I asked if FedEx ever gives refunds, he said yes, but only when they are at fault. I asked him, if he didn't think that the miscommunication from him employee was not their fault and he said "no". The assistant manager proceeded to counter and say that I should have known the charge would be there because I was aware of their same-day job policy and that I had the opportunity to review the charges before paying. Since I paid without reviewing the list of charges, I still agreed to them. I asked him if he thought j was at fault because I didn't review the charges, he said he wasn't going to tell me that I was at fault but that I should have known better. Giving credit for positive can-do spirit and excellent levels of patience, but these condolence card inserts were off center and they picked the wrong file from the two in email. We ran a sample print-out when I placed the order, but that sample was ignored when they ran off the job, so the requested bottom margin was missing. Then, of the 80 print outs, only EIGHT were cut correctly. If there had been more time, pretty sure they would've given me a re-do, but there wasn't time. Our cards looked LAME, but sent anyway to arrive by Christmas. Pretty bummed. read more

Since I don't know photo-shop, they took on the job of pagination for a 20 pg gift book that was then printed and stapled to my absolute satisfaction. Was thrilled with the excellent quality of their work on this project. My only regret is that to print more a few months later, I had to resend all the pages, as they said that they delete all files after 30 days. Kind of a slow process on my end, but they easily performed the task of reshuffling all pages in perfect order, again. THANK YOU FedEx. Never coming back here again. No wonder no customers are inside the store. I tried using their self service printing and the employee couldn't even figure out how to print what I needed printed. It took so long that I ran out of time on their machine so I paid for nothing and it logged me off. The employee didn't care at all and just said "yeah." Waste of time and money. There was also "no manager available." This happened on 2/11/24 at 5:25 pm. FedEx lost my package (not the fault of the store) and after hours of phone callS to customer service they said it was located in this facility but when I went in the store employee said it wasn't there. I asked for a manager and got Melanie. The reason for the negative review is the lack of diligence on the part of the store manager Melanie. She was reluctant to do anything in terms of finding a solution and frankly didn't seem to care about finding my package. Things happen, things get lost, misplaced, or even damaged, it's not the end of the world but how you handle those situations determines the outcome. I don't like leaving negative feedback and I've actually slept on this for some time but when your in the customer service industry you have to learn to service your customers properly. I was expecting a package on 12/27/23 and was notified on the fed ex tracking link that it was delayed and new expected delivery date was Tues 1/2/24 by 8pm, then I get a call from the fed ex store on 1/4 saying they will be sending it back if I don't come pick up my package the same day. I call back to let them know the tracking link makes it appear it was still in transit and that it told me the new delivery date was postponed to 1/2/24. Rather than taking accountability for the unclear notifications via tracking link she says I should have scrolled to the of the page and click the drop down menu for more details, yet, this is not explained on the website so how would I know to search for these details of it being at the location since 12/27 when it previously said my package had a new delivery date of 1/2? It wasn't until 1/3 that it changed to pending delivery date, yet she acted as if it was my issue vs taking responsibility which is poor customer service by the manager at this location. read more

Beware of this location. The employees will steal contents from your package and FEDEX will do absolutely NOTHING about it. I gave an Apple laptop in its original box plus a carrying bag to the Fedex counter guy to package securely for me. The Fedex guy weighted the contents in front of me and the scale registered 9 lbs., which was printed on the label. When my son received the package, it was perfectly packaged with no evidence of tampering, with everything inside EXCEPT THE ACTUAL LAPTOP. I filled a claim with FEDEX but was denied. read more

For a customer service industry to lack customer service is not ideal. This is this spot. Visit on your own risk. Lack initiative to help inexperienced clients (me +3 others in the hour I was there). Lack of training understanding procedures to help clients who are attempting at using their business. And lack of professionalism when other clients are advising of the happening outside their front door (purse left on the floor outside) at their address. I understand todays hustle and ease but not everyone fits the tech savvy title and it should adapt accordingly to you're clientele. read more

I needed to ship back a small gun to the manufacturer for repairs. The manufacturer sent me the label since they have a contract with FedEx for 2nd Day Air delivery. The worker and manager kept telling me it needed to be overnighted and that only the manufacturer could send me the lab, I could not pay for it myself. I spoke with FedEx customer service this morning and they told me that the store is incorrect and that 2nd day air is fine. The employees were unwilling to listen to me and help me with this. I do not recommend this store and I will not go there again. read more
