Recently moved to the area and found they're my local fedex shop. I only had to drop off a package with label already paid for. They were quick and efficient with two guys working the counter to get through the line that formed. I think I was in and out in like a minute. Parking is pretty easy in a shared lot which doesn't seem like it'll get too busy most of the time read more

Jason is the greatest! This is my job's local fedex location and today they saved my life (job).. he went above and beyond to help me secure a package for my boss that was about to be returned! West Coast Mail Stop has always exceeded my expectations on professionalism, friendliness, 5 star customer services and efficiency. Jason and Kim are so awesome! They are so informative with information and always go out of their way to make my experience quick and easy. They are also very personable as well. Kim always remembers me after my first time and will always hand over my package when he sees me. Sometimes he will beat me to the door and will hand my package right now. I can't thank Kim enough for being so helpful and know he will always have my back whenever I stop by. This place has the best costumer service!!! I sent my wedding invitations (not a normal size envelope) and bridesmaids care packages out with them. They were so helpful getting my packages out of my car and helping select the best way to send them out so my guests would receive my packages in the best condition and cheapest way possible. This is a late post but needless to say my girls were so happy to receive their packages all in tacked. read more

I had called around looking for a mail box and Jason was really informative and nice. There were a few other options closer to home, but based off our conversation I chose to get my mailbox with them. Jason, Kim and Wayne are AWESOME! The sign up was easy and they made it very personable. The first time I went to pick up a package, Kim remembered me and handed me my package, which was really impressive. The second time I went, Kim met me outside with my packages, which blew me away! :D These guys are awesome! Super nice and very friendly. Today I used them to send a package when picking up my mail. Wonderful service from a gentleman here today. I asked to open the door since my package I was sending out was heavy without hesitation offers to help me. I hurt my back yesterday and he definitely went the extra mile with excellent customer service and friendliest definitely 1000% recommend this business also I must mention I was in here for less than 5 minutes. Well if there's any FedEx shipping center that deserves 5 stars, it's this one. Jason and Kim are always eager to help unload stuff from my car if I have a huge stack of shipments. Unlike other FedEx Office stores that are pressured to sell you shipping supplies and berate you on your choice of packaging, these guys couldn't care less. I haven't used them for other services beyond FedEx, but I wouldn't have any issues recommending them. Oh, and they have a dog. Bonus points. read more

I shipped something with FedEx via The West Coast Mail Shop and I had an issue. A very important package simply read "Delay beyond our control." What does that mean? Where is my package? FedEx was no help! But I called the shop and Jason as excellent! He tracked down my package in the system and updated me. It's this type of customer service I really appreciate when it seems that the larger companies don't want to address your issues or even allow you to get in touch with them! Had a great experience working with Jason at WCMS On a limited moving budget, I decided to go with WCMS to ship my personal belongings (10 boxes) and 2 vehicles out of state. Jason was quick to respond email/cell/text and worked to find the most cost effective pricing he could get on my boxes. My final shipment was heavier than expected, but he was still able to fit everything on one pallet and keep the final price reasonably close to the estimate. My boxes arrived within a reasonable timeframe - just under 1 week, and none of the contents were damaged. For my 2 vehicles, I dropped them off the day before pickup at the storefront, and received them 3 days later via the driver! Jason texted me a picture of my vehicles as they were loading from his store. Thanks for saving me a lot of stress with my move and helping to keep me in my budget. West Coast Mail Stop is the best mail box / shipping center around. I'm really glad my husband found them for us. Need a place to receive mail without the dreaded restrictions of a P.O. Box? West Coast Mail Stop is your spot! Mailboxes come in a variety of sizes but anything that doesn't fit in the box, they'll happily hold on to for you. They'll also send you an email as soon as packages or anything larger than your mailbox arrives so you can come get it at your convenience. I needed the mail box for about a week or so longer than the rental period and Jason was kind enough to let me use it without charge. Any where else and they would have made me renew the rental for another 3 months. As soon as I drive into the parking lot, one of the guys inside has salready spotted my car and is going to the back to retrieve my packages and have them ready for me when I walk in. How awesome is that?!? Anything that is remotely big or heavy, and they'll carry it out to my car for me. Wonderful wonderful service. They are all so sweet. Jason is the greatest. If you've got a mailbox here, he'll email you if you've got a package to pick up. Other services they provide include; Copies Fax Printing (send the pages by email to them) for 25 cents per page. I came in fully prepared with my 16-year-old daughter to submit her new U.S. passport application…read more(despite being born overseas, she has been issued multiple US passports since she was a baby), and we brought every required document and then some. We had her current, valid U.S. passport with us, which as clearly outlined on the U.S. passport service website (travel.state.gov), meets the requirement for "primary proof of citizenship." Despite this, the clerk refused to accept our application and incorrectly insisted that we needed re-prove my daughter's citizenship through her U.S.-citizen father--including providing HIS documents and ID, and other completely irrelevant items such as our marriage certificate to "prove we're her parents" (despite having her birth certificate with us and the fact we were not even married when our daughter was born 16 years ago, and we divorced 10 years ago) along with other unnecessary documents - such as my daughter's high school student ID?!, which doesn't have anything but her name on it and isn't an accepted as a form of ID by ANY U.S. government agency! Because of this: - My daughter missed two days of school - We had to make another appointment - We scrambled to gather documents that were never even required - I had to contact my ex-husband, who lives in another city, for paperwork and personal documents that were not needed All of this could have been avoided if the clerk knew how to do their job, or if she or her manager (who also had no idea what to do) had simply looked up the government requirements. For clarity and to reiterate: According to U.S. Department of State, a currently valid U.S. passport is considered PRIMARY evidence of citizenship. My daughter's citizenship was already established when she was issued her very first US passport as a baby. Her turning 16 and applying for an "adult" passport now does NOT mean we have to re-prove her citizenship from scratch with all her U.S.-born father's documents and information again. HER OWN ID- a current, valid U.S. child passport- is enough, and it clearly states this on the US government's passport website. Instead of focusing on the actual requirements for a 16-17 yr old applicant (ID, form + my signature of acknowledgement), the clerk fixated on completely irrelevant and incorrect criteria meant for first-time citizenship claims only. There was a clear bias toward me, the accompanying parent, for not being born in the U.S. myself (despite being a US permanent resident/greencard holder) and the fact that I was trying to obtain my child a U.S. passport. I was repeatedly told my presence and documentation were insufficient (untrue) due to that fact--even though, according to government guidelines, the accompanying parent does NOT need to be a U.S. citizen. Because to point out again, MY DAUGHTER IS A US CITIZEN AND HER CURRENT EXISTING AND MULTIPLE PAST/EXPIRED PASSPORTS PROVE THIS. If you're going to be a stickler about enforcing rules, at least know what they are. Weird to accept passport applications for a living and not know what the requirements for passport applications are. This was a frustrating, time-wasting, and discriminatory experience. I would strongly recommend going to a different facility where staff are properly trained and actually know how to do their job. I made an appointment at a different USPS location for the next day, where the staff actually know what they are doing. FedEx West Coast Mail Stop took care of me when I needed them. They have always exceeded my expectations on professionalism, friendliness, 5 star customer services and efficiency. Everyone on the team especially Kim, Jason and Wayne are very informative with there information and always go out of their way to make my experience quick and easy. They are personable as well. They are reliable in what they do and taking care of all the customers that comes though the door. The staffs are very friendly and responsive in taking care of all my shipping needs. Glad I discovered this Fedex location in Duarte. This place is way more helpful and friendly than other Fedex locations I have frequented. I often ship many large boxes that I must lug out of my car and into the Fedex offices but West Coast mail stop is quite the contrary. Each and every time, I mean every time I pull up, there's always someone waiting with a dolly ready to assist me. I have never experienced this type of service elsewhere. When the employee opened the file from the email all the margins had gotten messed up but he never bothered to tell me. He printed out 20 copies of the corrupted file and handed them to me and charged me. I was so upset with him for not having the courtesy of pointing out that the file had been corrupted so that I could fix it. I had to resend it and pay again for the printing. His attitude was "that's your problem not mine". The next time I again sent another file to print as I wanted a good quality print. Again I got the same employee. I asked him if the file looked okay before printing and he said it looked fine. Once the copies were made he charged me and then handed me the copies. The colors were all messed up and the copies are totally unusable. I told him that and asked if his printer needs ink. He just shrugged and said it's new ink and then turned away! Another wasted charge. Even though I'm local and want to support my town's businesses, I am never going back there. The customer service is atrocious (at least this guy).

We had her current, valid U.S. passport with us, which as clearly outlined on the U.S. passport service website (travel.state.gov), meets the requirement for "primary proof of citizenship." Despite this, the clerk refused to accept our application and incorrectly insisted that we needed re-prove my daughter's citizenship through her U.S.-citizen father--including providing HIS documents and ID, and other completely irrelevant items such as our marriage certificate to "prove we're her parents" (despite having her birth certificate with us and the fact we were not even married when our daughter was born 16 years ago, and we divorced 10 years ago) along with other unnecessary documents - such as my daughter's high school student ID?!, which doesn't have anything but her name on it and isn't an accepted as a form of ID by ANY U.S. government agency! Because of this: - My daughter missed two days of school - We had to make another appointment - We scrambled to gather documents that were never even required - I had to contact my ex-husband, who lives in another city, for paperwork and personal documents that were not needed All of this could have been avoided if the clerk knew how to do their job, or if she or her manager (who also had no idea what to do) had simply looked up the government requirements. For clarity and to reiterate: According to U.S. Department of State, a currently valid U.S. passport is considered PRIMARY evidence of citizenship. My daughter's citizenship was already established when she was issued her very first US passport as a baby. Her turning 16 and applying for an "adult" passport now does NOT mean we have to re-prove her citizenship from scratch with all her U.S.-born father's documents and information again. HER OWN ID- a current, valid U.S. child passport- is enough, and it clearly states this on the US government's passport website. Instead of focusing on the actual requirements for a 16-17 yr old applicant (ID, form + my signature of acknowledgement), the clerk fixated on completely irrelevant and incorrect criteria meant for first-time citizenship claims only. There was a clear bias toward me, the accompanying parent, for not being born in the U.S. myself (despite being a US permanent resident/greencard holder) and the fact that I was trying to obtain my child a U.S. passport. I was repeatedly told my presence and documentation were insufficient (untrue) due to that fact--even though, according to government guidelines, the accompanying parent does NOT need to be a U.S. citizen. Because to point out again, MY DAUGHTER IS A US CITIZEN AND HER CURRENT EXISTING AND MULTIPLE PAST/EXPIRED PASSPORTS PROVE THIS. If you're going to be a stickler about enforcing rules, at least know what they are. Weird to accept passport applications for a living and not know what the requirements for passport applications are. This was a frustrating, time-wasting, and discriminatory experience. I would strongly recommend going to a different facility where staff are properly trained and actually know how to do their job. I made an appointment at a different USPS location for the next day, where the staff actually know what they are doing. They asked for my daughter's ID (her current passport), the application form, I showed the clerk my ID to prove I was a parent, my daughter and I both signed the form, AND IT WAS DONE in under 5 minutes. A whole month later, the passport processing center contacted me and informed me that I actually needed to complete the DS-5525 form -- the same form the office should have provided from the beginning. Because of this mistake, the U.S. Passport Department had to email me the form directly, and now I have to fill it out, sign it, and mail it back myself, causing unnecessary delays and stress. This entire situation could have been avoided if the employee had properly informed me of the requirements in the first place. Very disappointing service and a huge waste of time.
